A man has problems of getting remarried, don't act like it's so easy.

Men are gate keepers of sex, and women of commitment. A woman decides if and when marriage/commitment will happen while a man decides if and when sex happens. After all, he has the libido, ring and penis to offer in return for her commitment.

A woman that wants to get married will easily remarry. That's not a problem for women. Men are predictable.

It's the man's problem since he has a child as one of his responsibilities (which he will fight to keep custody of) and he'll have a hard time getting a woman again cos a lot of women now have become wiser and are seriously avoiding having any serious relationship with single fathers and divorcees with a child (ren), except the damaged ones. Times have surely changed for the better. Gynocentrism is the way ahead.

That's the problem with the way men see things.

Most men don't understand how women cheat. Believe it, a woman who cheats never loses love for her husband. To her it's just exciting sex and maybe some money. She will always return home to her true husband. The sooner men understand this, the better. Men have emotional sex. Women just have sex. It's nothing personal.

The man will be the biggest loser to quit this marriage with a child. Where will he start from with relationships again? Is it from dating all over again? Plus women are wiser today to avoid divorced men. He just has to endure it and hope for better days

This woman is remorseful, and if OP and family pray for her, with time she will cool down and stay in one place with her rightful husband. What God put together let no man put assunder.

That man is supposed to find out where he has gone wrong, not crying and involving strangers in his family matter. It is his duty to give his wife peace, some men make the home front so terrible that the woman has no choice but to seek comfort from someone ready to give it.

The unique nature of a woman is that she is moved by sight, and as such she is moved towards comfort and polyandry by nature.

The man should up his romance game and give her peace of mind via money. Otherwise she should dump him. Every woman deserves peace of mind, not someone hoarding sex and money. Hopefully the man has learned his lesson. If he misbehaves, her side man will take over. It's that simple.

Hello Nairalanders. I got married late last year.
Even though I got married late, I made sure I was gainfully employed before taking the giant stride.

I love my wife and she loves me too. I carry 98 % of the home responsibility, recently, because things are on the high side and my wife is working as well, I told her to be taking care of filling the gas while I handle other bills.
I have observed that anytime I go near the gas maybe to make food or boil water, she will remind how expensive gas is right now, after all, if it finishes, I won't give money to fill. These words hurt me alot as this is the only thing you do for us in this house. I know how much I pay for rent, DSTV etc with other utility bills.

My thoughts now are;
How do men which their wives are feeding them cope with insults and embarrassments that come with every meal?

How do unemployed/underemployed men cope?

What if anything happens with my job, will I be able to stay in a verbal abusive home?

I hope you're seriously investing some of your salary/wages?? Very important

Not true, even without Nedu coming out with proof to prove his innocence, I still won't have automatically believed his ex-wife because I know firsthand how vindictive women can be. And Nedu deserves a lot of commendation for handling the matter with a lot of maturity and not letting her provoke him to repay her evil for evil.
