Hello guys, please I’m still on this tax certificate issue. Pls who has gotten one from Lagos state before? I got one, but it looks like a receipt. Can someone pls help me out to be sure I’m with the right document. Pls I need ur advice. Thanks
I don't know what you have, but if you got it from the tax office, you shouldnt have any problem. You can also try to validate it online. You can verify with your payer ID or receipt number.

Lagos tax certificate are easily verifiable online and some, if not all, would be verified by the assessing bodies/DHA. Be sure you get the genuine one from the tax office.

Omoefe1994:
Hello All,

Please I would like to make a few clarifications as I prepare our documents for 489 visa lodgement.

1) Please do we need to notorise all the documents we wanted to submit before uploading on our immiaccount.

2) I read a few weeks ago that there is no more front loading of medicals for 489. This I also saw their website where 489 & 190 were not part of the visas listed that you can generate a HAP ID and doing your medicals before submitting your visa application.Yes, but you will be able to generate the HAP ID immediately you pay and submit your application

3) I will like to confirm if Austransaction can also be used for our visa payment. Will I be transferring naira to them and how will they transfer the AUD equivalent.

Thank you.

Please, nairalander!

I was told that if I enter with this visa (class 600) that after gaining job, I will need to exit and enter Australia back.

Is this possible as what have been reading in this thread.

Kindly help me asap. Thanks in advance.

I think some people are just trying to be mischievous and keen on derailing this thread. People should just ignore such characters. Jump and pass their posts.

Our ever-willing Nairaland families in the same Melbourne have offered to meet up with him for chat/tips and I don't think he has taken up the offer.

We are one large family here, helping each other, let no one think he/she can scatter us.

To the troubled soul(s), may you be delivered and find peace wherever you are and choose to be eventually.

I hope you are not a holder of a Nigerian passport, as Nigerians are not eligible for this type of Visa. Beware of scammers.

My fellow Nigerians,
I commend everyone for the keen spirit and Goodwill.
One way or the other, you folks have contributed to my success; consciously or otherwise.

This is my 4th Month in Australia as a migrant (189) and I must say it's one of the most thoughtful decisions I have ever made asides getting a spouse.
With the permission of my ogas I would like to drop the full gist/ timeline in the other room.

However, a simple breakdown goes thus:
Arrived Melbourne 10/10/17
Got my Professional job 23/10/17 without aussie local experience/ driver's licence.
Got my first paycheck 08/11/17(the rate is grin)
Currently working in Sydney on a major capital Metro project.
I give God all glory and honour......

I do not see any reason why you cannot use them... As long as they can give you a letter proving the funds are there and for you and they can also confirm to IRCC if and when they are contacted.
Thanks @40manlappy @boldinc

Can one claim sibling point from someone that just landed in Canny?

Okay..I know that the initial hurdle was that his company cannot bring me in until he has reached a milestone.... but he's on the verge of changing job so don't know what is obtainable and yes he works on site.

Drdre1 please I also have a friend in Qatar who told me he could get me a cleaners job with my Nigerian passport over there and thus get work permit. My fear is will it be possible to get a better job later or will that permit restrict me?

I honestly don't want to get desperate it's just that I like having directions to work on. If you outline possible solutions that I can focus on then I guess I will still have something to hang on to.

I hope I'm still coherent smileysmiley I want to pour out everything at once. Thanks a lot!
