@Suxes 2005,thank for response of my last mail, meanwhile am NOT applying as a student but as tourist i want to know my chance if i use hotel booking, really they were saying booking from hotel portal is NOT acceptable,i don't understand wot they mean oooo, gbami ooo my broda.
Lol, make God gbawa oooo

As per the hotel, they do not grant visa with hotel reservation.
If you present that during your interview and they really want to
give you visa, they will ask you to go get receipt of payment from the hotel
and bring it b4 they can decide on your case (that means they wanna give you visa).

So if you want to really use hotel, make sure it is paid and let the hotel fax
you a copy of receipt,

If that is the case, then we need to look at your landed properties in 9ja.
You own your house? What really are you guys going to do in Usa?
How did your mum and sister get to usa? If it is visit visa - then what's their status?

Hey peeps, have a few questions.
I want to visit my sister and mum in the US and need some help here. My passport is almost virgin and I want to travel with my wife and a year plus child. I have a good job but still wonder since am travelling with my wife and child would i still be considered as having enough ties to the country and what effect could that have on my chances.
1. Have you travelled with your wife and child to another country before.
2. Do you have any other children to be left in 9ja?
3. What type of job you have, your position and salary (you can give estimate)

@Suxes2006,

is there any age restriction for undergraduates studies in Germany?
To be frank and candid, so far I have not heard about that.
I've written to some school to get information to present here
and none of them talked about age restriction.

@suxes2006: i hv the shengen and former single entry us visa intact in my passport. the pages tht r missing r pages 15 to 18. they r empty pages. can i go ahead undetected?
Hmnn I guess there should be some kind of
court statement of affidavit that can help you on that.

I dont know abt USA embassy but other embassies I guess
will check to confirm that the PP has all pages intact.
So try seek some help either police report or so it will help.

@Suxes 2006: thank you so much for your time and very educative trend you are keeping.
please assist to answer this question:
i have 2years student visa to US, i entered to NYC with it for 5 wks then returned home cos i can't pay the school fee, so i defer the admission.my visa expires by january 2013, and i wish to visit US on visiting visa, can i apply now or will need to wait until the student visa expires.of course i have IV waiting but i din't may be i will need to wait till the student visa expire.
Tnx, I no get work, lol
Your case is somehow, first you must have proved @ d embassy that you
have enough money for the school before you applied for your student visa.
The best you can do is to use your same student visa to enter USA with your
deferred admission letter - this will help show at the POE that you deferred your
admission , you should be ready to state goods reasons why you deferred and not
say you do not have money for school fee.

If the deferred admission letter does not fall in-line with your proposed date of visit,
then you have to wait for the visa to expire before you apply for visit (which will not be easy
for you to get provided you didnt make good use of the student visa you were give).

Think about the best thing you can do now and return to Usa with your student visa, either
get your school to send you a letter or , just think about the best means and lemme also
try reason with you too,

I'm not an expert so i only stated what i think and if there is anyone who knows better
please do not hesitate to come over.

Well, I was refering to your response to my question (1) to churchill stated in the comment below.

I hope you understand now.
I still do not, but if it is about family visa
then it is better you process all at thesame time provided
you can show enough evidence that you have money to survive
the family in Germany.

hi all,
i had the middle pages of my nigerian epassport ripped out "neatly" by a hateful friend.
i have an expired us visa in the passport and recently applied for and got a schengen visa and travelled with same passport undetected.
i want to get anoda us visa to attend same annual conference as the first one was a single entry visa.getting the visa shld be a breeze as visas are granted annually for this conference plus i hv attended similar conference in europe.
pls wot r the chances of getting the visa with passport undetected as pages 15 to 19 r missing?
anticipating your responses,
tnx all
Hello,

Since you had USA visa on same passport before,
and you are going for another usa visa, they will
need to see the stamp of the former usa visa.

The best is to try contact them before hand to know
the best thing for you, do not risk it at all

The best bet is for you to contact German embassy about the price!
As per the school's info, I guess you've got something wrong there.
It's only when you got your admission that the embassy will need to
do the authorization thingy on your cert.

@churchil
I must commend you for your answers which are quite informative and helpful.I intend to do a masters programme in Germany, however am considering going with my wife and kid (who is barely a year),please I would like you to do justice to some of the questions I have,
1. Would it be better to process my visa first before theirs (my wife & child) or would it be easy to do all together?
2. My wife has not really had any working experience after her first degree, so am considering the language course for her, can you recommend any school?
3.What kind of jobs (regardless of quailification) are readily available on part time for a student?
Thanks
1. All will be better
2. Language course is the best, check these sites and get the best for her,
1. http://www.goethe.de/ins/de/enindex.htm?wt_sc=germany
2. http://www.humboldt-institut.org/
3. http://www.esl-languages.com/en/adults/learn/german/germany/index.htm
4. http://www.horizonte.com/
3. He answered that already

While we wait for him to come and answer your questions, you can still go on with those infos

You've simpliified it and I wanna say a very big thank you!
Is there no application fee involved?

About sponsorship and statement of account thingy, if the student
is applying for visa here, will he/she present a Nigerian bank statement?

I am asking all this to gain more knowledge into this and to also help
my fellow guys who can't ask the ridiculous questions.

Thanks man for the write-up. I hope others reading this are learning as well.

You mean you got your own visa with a course in a language school and paid
the normal money (1.8M I guess) to get the blocked account of a thing?

As soon as you are settled with the school (gotten the IV and other docus)
then what about the embassy here? Care to tell us what docus you submitted
and how you went (or go, i no sabi english) about it?
