and all those who have given constructive criticism, big ups for u all. that the way to go, thats the spirit. I cannot for the life of me understand all those who would make blanket statements based on loose facts. this is a show that's going to last another one week, yet people are so sure that Nigerian dances wouldn't feature. Haven't you people heard of saving the best for last?

And so what if the judges are unknown? who said they have to be known to know their stuff? have you guys bothered to read their profiles on the maltina danceall site? some even said that 2 of them were too young! Abeg, must they be mettuselah to be knowledgeable? if to say na oyinbo now them no go talk say e too young o!

Who said the presenter was boring? must she be bubbly to be interesting? i admit that she may be a little conservative ( she's from NTA!!) but remember its a family show and the organisers will naturally look for someone who'll be present a slightly more mature persona than a bubbly character jumping up and down.

And did I hear that Kaffy should have been a judge?? Good God! isn't it obvious that Kaffy is branded by Nokia and cannot associate with a different brand? I mean that is not rocket science is it? Besides, apart from Hip hop, what other dances have you seen Kaffy do? so, what qualifies her as a judge?

Obviously, the show has not been perfect, but what show is? there's room for improvement and we should point the organisers towards that.

I will not be one to call for censorship. freedom of speech is a right and must be respected. but let us all remember; you can only have the moral justification to condemn only after you have praised.

Firstly, Kaffy is not branded by nokia she only won the guiness book of records title that nokia sponsored. Besides there's another reality show coming up very soon in which she is going to be one of the judges in the dance section.And its not sponsored by nokia.

And again, kaffy doesnt dance hiphop alone, she is also a very good salsa dancer she also dances fuji and sikulu(south-african dance ) very well.

I wonder if nigerian a nigerian dance will still feature.Well lets wait and see o. So far they've danced salsa, chacha, pantomine and now they are dancing the abstract dance.For goodness sake ,the show is ending in 4 days time!

The presenter is from NTA and so what. There's no rule that says NTA people cant be bubbly. Is Marian Arthur Anazodo not also from NTA.Katherine Edoho and Marian Anazodo are mates so its not about maturity or something.Katherine is definitely a good presenter but deinitely not for a dance show.To me they should have used a presenter like Kaffy or someone like Isis or even someone like Kenny Ogungbe or someone like Barsorge Tariah. He's an MC, comedian and he has also won a national dance competition before.

And its not about the judges being knnown or not. But about them doing a good job.Their jugment is whack!!!!!

That presenter is too dull for the show abeg. And the thing is that she happens to be is frank edoho's wife .

Salsa and chacha are both south american dances. How come they've not danced any any nigerian or african dance? They should mix it up.

The judges are just senseless and whack.What does that Prie know? She was just yarning dust as far as I am concerned.
Even the presenter is quite dry for a dance reality show.Why didnt they use a lively and bubbly person that dances too like kaffy or something?

To me that Louis martins Ibi is too stiff and  Halle danced very well. Debby was also o.k and her family danced well too especially her sister with the low cut and her dad too. To me Louis and his family were the worst performers for the night.

The concept behind the show is definitely a very good one its meant to bring families together. There's nothing wrong in dancing Salsa. But to me the cha-cha dance is very un-necessary. The 2 dances are quite similar.After they danced salsa, they should have moved on to a nigerian or african dance like maybe sikulu southafrican dance or something nigerian like fuji,galala,yahoozee or even atilogwu or benin dance.

But what angers me the most about the show are the whack and senseless judges.Or maybe they have a predetermined winner. Because me I dont get.Why didnt they even allow the viewing audience to vote after the judges nominated like every other sensible talent reality show?

I’ve been following the most beautiful girl in Nigeria pageant ever since I was a kid . Right from the year Omasan Buwa won in 1988 till now. But we only hear of a few of them like nike oshinowo, Bianca Onoh, Regina Askia , Agbani, mowunmi Akinifesi, and the recent one munachi.


I really liked Toyin Raji then she reminded me of janet Jackson, I also liked susan hart,Bianca onoh and Sandra Petgrave and Sabina Umeh.

There were other Nigerian actors like fred amata and zack amata in the movie.Genevive was supposed to act the part that Mbong acted before but Mbong got the part instead. Probably because she is fluent in Efik

Yeah of course, I went for the review at nu metro cinema. Its good enough to go international. For them to review it on CNN. And you know its a true and touching story. The story behind the song "Amazing Grace, how sweet the sound that saved a wretch like me".The song was originally in Efik language before it was translated to English. That song is really popular but most people dont know it originated from Nigeria. They really went into years of research before bringing out that movie. I'm not surprised if its on the blockbuster in Australia.

shes o.k, but she needs to step up on her appearance. The clothes shes wearing looks cheap and i dont know if its the picture but her teeth looks yellowish. She could go to the dentist to bleach her teeth. Its not too expensive. A friend of mine did hers and her teeth are now extremely white.

Ekundayo is good too. Most of the songs on her album are very cool. That Ekundayo is nice, It sounds like a yoruba opera song.

Amazing grace is a Nigerian movie on slaves produced by jetta amata.The quality of themovie wa svery good. It was even reviewed by CNN.

@ snazzydawn, Here's the source of my information.I always get my facts and sources before posting except maybe mbong was lying. Here’s an extract of the interview from city people quarterly July 2007 edition with mbong odungide when she said she was once miss akwa ibom. You can check out the edition of the city people magazine if you have it.

HOW DID YOUR CAREER START?

It started in2003.Jeta called an audition which I attended, for an epic movie called mutanda. I made it through the audition and featured in the film, After that one Jeta came up with another production called “unconditional love”, then we shot another project titled wheel of change, a story on HIV/AIDS, which was in furtherance to the campaign of former Crossriver 1st lady,Onari Duke. At that time I was the reigning MISS AKWA-IBOM.

You can see Mbong said so herself that she was miss akwaibom.And what I can deduce from what she said is that she was miss akwaibom not earler than 2003.I alwys try to get my facts and sources well before posting it except maybe Mbong was lying.

Niyola is a musician .Her video just came out.They've been showing it on TV of recent. Sha has a very wonderful voice like beyonce's and she is also beautiful too.

Mbong said so herself in an interview by city people quarterly where she was on the front cover.I'm sure she said she was miss akwa-ibom,I'm not too sure of the year maybe its not 2006 then. But I'm 100% sure she said she was miss akwa-ibom as at the time she went for the auditioning for "Amazing Grace.Not miss akwa-ibom for MBGN. But the one done in Akwa-ibom state.

Mbong speaks efik language very fluently.By the way the amazing grace movie was done in efik and subtitled in english

Jeta Amata also said so in an interview with him.Because they were rumoured to be dating.Except Mbong is lying.
