Olu didn't actually sing the song though its on his album. Puffy T was the person who sang it. All Olu did was say 'everybody, enough effizzy.Take am easy. Its all about the benjamins baby.' i knew that guy never had talent.

:i've seen some individual ones with self adhesive, look into sally hansen products, they have a wide selection.
: when you say waterproof, what do you mean? do you mean the glue, will the glue come off if you wet your face? it depends really, they don't last longer when they get wet
:i get atleast 3/4 days on my before the glue wears off, if i don't tamper with it much, put on mascara on them maybe 5days

Black face has released his own version of African Queen.In an interview he granted on Sturday morning A.M express aired on NTA,black face said he and twoface have the right to release the song since they both formed it together.I heard Black face wrote the lyrics and two face formed the tune for the lyrics.

The reason why I like black face is because he's a humble guy. If to say na face form the lyrics of African Queen, ehn, 2face go don see wehn. He would have probably formed a song abusing 2 face for stealing.What do you nairalanders think?

I am working for one of the mobile phone companies involved in the voting - so I have seen the votes coming in for the different contestants all through the last months.
Based on the audience votes, Christine should have long ago left the show - most of the time, Justina and Kiba received most votes, later on, it was Justina and Enjel who were ahead of Christine.

In the final, Justina was clearly leading ahead of Christine, so from the audience vote she should have won the show. No wonder that in contrast to West African Idols the
organizers of Nokia First Chance never published the votes - it would be very difficult for them to explain how Christine survived for so long and could even win in spite of the audience's clear preference for Justina.

I personally don't really have any preference for either Christine or Justina but my sense of justice has been insulted when I saw on TV Christine being declared the winner of Nokia First Chance.

Firstly, all networks were involved in voting.So you can not base your conclusions from one network.Please always get your complete facts before posting on Nairaland.

Secondly,the audience choice is different from audience votes.How many people watched nokia first chance to the extent of voting.Most people voted with mouth

Thirly,the owner of the record label was interviewed and they had already said that the final winner will be chosen not just based on audience votes but on the choice of the record label.

From the interview,The judges on the record label,sad Justine is obviously a better performer but felt christine is more talented.
1. Christine is a much better lyrics and tune composer(Hence they feel her album will sell better)
2. She's talented,she can play the piano and the guitar
3. She has a sweet, innocent voice.


They feel christine will be a good ambassador for Nigeria in the international world to showcase talent.Nokia first chance is a "TALENT SHOW COMPETITION".So they felt christine deserved to win.

Yes, i've tried skin success before.Some yars ago.I just used it for about a week and a half or so.I'm not a fair person, but people were like you're looking darker.Even my sister too had the same experience .

I don't really know about clear essence.I've not used it before.

I think i'll try Mary- kay,since it doesnt contain any harsh chemicals

Yahoozy originated from Lagos Island years ago.
It was originally called Sebe- just dancing like a mad man, then saouz and when yahooboys took over, it became yahoozy probably because the lagos island yahooboys throw parties alot and the reigning steps then was saouz or saouzy.
It was coined yahoozy by yahoo boys.
Dbanj is not even a good yahoozy dancer. He's just learning. Olu Maintain had nothing to do wit it either. The best yahoozee dancers are in OSU.
Sean paul's Step is way different from yahoozy even though the mixture is very beautiful. You need to see girls dance sean paul+yahoozy, you'll be tripped.
I dance yahoozy beautifully. There are different styles:-
'steppers' where u interchange steps in quick succession
'feelin cool' where you have both hands in your pocket
'komole' where your hands picks from under your legs up and round your neck.
'too much money' where you pick and spray 'virtual' dollars from your pockets with both hands.
'sean paul stylee' where you mix it wit sean paul's
'burning' where you fan your self with your hands like the room is too hot.

Yahoozy is the latest dancestep everywhere in clubs,parties,shows and even in church.Various nigerian artistes have sung about it and danced it in their videos. But where did it come from? Who started it?Did it start from Nigeria? Who named the dancestep ?

Did Dbanj start it? Or was it sean paul? Because I've seen Sean Paul dance something like that in one of his videos. But who even named the dance-step, Was it olu-maintain?

Little Richard is always delightful to hear because he's so entertaining! You never know what's going to happen with him. He's a bit of a loose cannon, so to speak. And, all things considered, I don't think he really takes himself or what he does as seriously as it might seem that he does.

Let me suggest that you listen to Dusty Springfield's version of "The Look of Love." It was a hit for her in '67. I think it'll impress you.

As to you, suze, you mentioned the song "Just Don't Want To Be Lonely." Did you know that the group that did that song (The Main Ingredient) featured Cuba Gooding, Sr. who is the father of the actor Cuba Gooding, Jr.? As for Aretha, you must check out "Until You Come Back To Me (That's What I'm Gonna Do)" which from circa 1974. Stevie Wonder wrote it!

When it comes to Dylan, one of my favorites of his is "My Back Pages." Wonderful lyrics! And, the BeeGees really did some superbly interesting things back in the 1960s! Well worth a listen!

I'm not familiar with Bobby Benson, however. I do remember that a singer/guitarist named George Benson did a song called "Give Me The Night." Could that be to whom you refer? If so, then I suggest that you also check out his version of the Leon Russell tune "This Masquerade." He also did an INCREDIBLE re-working of the old Jackie Wilson standard "Baby Workout!"

At least she put some life into the show. At least she was not as bad as Dede in idols.In every music competition, there's always someone like that 2 put life into the show and most of them might not even be musicians at all.

i must say, i am highly dissapointed, really. its so obvious that there was foul play. if for anything their last perfomance was a testimony that justina is a better singer . like i said from the very beginning, christine has a talent for writing music and not singing. its only clear if u watched the owambe, show were they all performed highlife. an also the love songs they sang. the better singers were all evicted. i think the organisers knew that if she is made the winner they wont have to so spend much considering the following.
1. she is a british citizen, so it will be very easy getting her to the uk.
2. they wont have to pay a song writer because she will be able to write her own songs. but then she wont be versatile because all the songs she writes are all slow. she is good no doubt about that but not compared to Justina,
when the likes of Nene, Sylvia and Saidat were evicted that was when i knew the whole
show was a scam. but its all good.
so what happens to the rest? is their any consolation prize for them? star quest paid the contestants west african idols did the same. we have not heard anything form nokia first chance.

As they said before,the winner was chosen not based on votes alone, but also on the choice of the record label after listening to their songs.The organisers probably think, christines records will sell beter.Justine is obviously a better performer,she can dance and all.But if you just pick christines album and listen to it and also pick justines album and listen to it without watching them perform.You'll definitely prefer christine's songs because they are better composed and the tunes are sweeter.And as you said,they wont have to spend money on writing songs for her. The organisers feel its easier to teach christine how to dance and be a better performer than to teach justine to write sweet songs.

And for the song justine performed on that final day,christine has her own version which is also very good.Its just that chistine doesn't know how to dance and perform like justine. All they did was to give them sound tracks and ask them to form tunes and lyrics to go with the soound track.

And who knows, its possible christine won by votes! You know people use mouth to vote in Nigeria.They just assume justine will win without them voting and again how many people watch nokia first chance like that.Is that not what happened to jodi in idols? Christines parents were behind her and they were probably canvassing for votes and I heard shes quite popular in her school too.Do you know hiw many people voted for christine not with mouth but actually picked their phones and voted

But thank God they gave both of them record deals because they are both good in their different ways. But there just has to be one winner. Though i felt justine needed the money more than christine
