Crime / Re: How I Killed My Cousin, 4 Others For Rituals – Fruit Seller by SWATMan: 3:08pm
Curious345:
A 39-year-old fruit seller, Dolapo Babalola, has narrated to the police that he used to kill some of his victims whenever they recognised him by dragging their motorcycles with them and cutting parts of their bodies for ritual purposes.

Babalola was arrested and paraded alongside his herbalists, accomplices, and other 16 criminal suspects at the state police headquarters in Akure, the state capital.

Babalola who said he killed his intimate friend and snatched his motorcycle at Oke-Igbo, in the Ile-Oluji/Okeigbo local government area of the state, also confessed to have killed five persons including his cousin.

Narrating how he used to kill his victims, the suspect said, “Whenever they recognise me, I will drag and kill them and their motorcycles with a stick and cut parts of their bodies for rituals.”

While disclosing that he had been in the trade since 2021, Babalola revealed that they carry out their operations within the town and neighbouring states.

According to him, ”I have killed five people including my cousin and my friend, and snatched their motorcycles. I killed Opeyemi who is my friend, and sold the motorcycle to a man in Ibadan called Taoheed. I do not sell human parts, but I took part of one of my victims’ bodies to an herbalist in Ondo who promised to give me an Ifa Oracle.

“At the point where we snatched motorcycles, anyone who struggled with me in the process got hit on the head with a fat stone and a stick.”

Another suspect, Quadri Lawal and his cohorts confessed that he cut off one of his victim’s heads into two, one part for his colleague, and kept the other for ritual purposes.

The 35-year-old man while recounting the events, said, “While hunting in the bush, I stumbled upon the lifeless body of a woman, which I then informed Oluawo about.”

He continued, “Oluawo requested that I extract certain body parts, which I complied with by cutting off a portion of the human head. One part was kept in my residence, while the other was handed over to Oluawo as requested.”

Lawal further said they used and turned the head into black soap for people, for different purposes mainly for money making.

He said, “We used to cut human parts on demand by some people ‘big men’ and we use them for black soap making. “

Parading the suspects, the Ondo State Commissioner of Police, Abayomi Oladapo, disclosed that other arrested criminal suspects were those involved in the kidnapping at Ofosu in Idanre, those who killed one Evangelist Opeyemi Oyelakin and two herbalists who cut human parts for money ritual purposes.
He said, “Sequel to the arrest of one Babalola Dolapo Daniel who led police detectives to a shallow grave at Oke-Igbo where the corpse of Opeyemi Oyelakin, a commercial motorcyclist was exhumed, other suspects have been arrested in connection with the case.

”Further investigation revealed that the suspect had killed four persons in various locations and stole their motorcycles.

“In April 2023, he killed a motorcyclist in Kabba, Kogi State and Ife, along Ilesha Road in Osun State, removed some parts from the corpse for rituals.

“In June 2023, he killed another motorcyclist at Ondo town and dumped the corpse in a farm at Oboto bush along Bolorunduro road, Ondo town while in October 2023, the suspect and one Sikiru Mutiu aka S.K. deceived his childhood friend by name, Joel Olagoke to take them with his motorcycle to a location where he was killed, his body dismembered and handed to herbalists; Mujeeb Lawal and Shina Ojo who are both in police custody, for rituals.

“The duo of Abiola Olatunji Toheeb and Ayegbajeje Micheal who are receivers of stolen items and one Oyediran Waheed Olaitan who helps in the production of fake documents to aid the selling of the stolen motorcycles have been arrested.

“Seven motorcycles have been retrieved from the receivers while one suspect is still at large,” he said.

In the same vein, the Commissioner of Police said the Command has also arrested a suspected assassin who affirmed to have killed over 500 people, and that he was paid to kill the owner of a pure water factory.

“On April 18, 2024, at about 7pm, a case of threat to life and demanding money was reported to the police. The complainant stated that she received a call from a strange number and the caller introduced himself as an as

“Out of fear, the victim sent the sum of ₦110,000 to the account forwarded to her, and through technical assistance one Adetokunbo Adesina was arrested. The suspect claimed he extorted the victim because she refused to employ him in her pure water factory,” CP Oladapo narrated.

Hand of Esau, voice of Jacob. With state police, 2027 would be a herculean task for some people. With the amount of political power concentrated at the centre, it will take only a person in the mould of Nelson Mandela to allow a review of the constitution that would whittle down his power. They branded the northern political keaders as being archaic who enjoy primitive accumulation of power. Hipocrites claiming NADECO.

Just yesterday, I and my guys went to have a nice time at GRA, saw one girl, she said she's Onyinye, after a few talks she introduced her price, I quickly picked I was wrong thinking she was responsible. Talked to another, she said she's Chioma, at a different time, around but elsewhere, she introduced her price too, I promised to call her, and deleted her contact afterwards. Imagine how distant Ilorin is from the east and these shameless people still transported their rubbish down here. Well, those Alhajis parronize them sha.

They'll have one unwanted preg now, born and abandon the innocent baby, he/she'll grow and start typing rubbish like this dolt I quoted, unless fate favours him/her. Well, them say dem dey make bastard money anyway.

My anger is, you'll set out your day/week, hoping to join issues with no one; online or offline. But the moment you come online, you'll see one dumbo, Obirodent, brain-proof dolt from the SE that will come forth with a derogatory remark to your tribe, and when you're not a bastardd, you'll be worked up to reply—to show they have no monopoly of uncouthness, at least.

Ask them what they gain putting down others, with derogatory or snide remarks, nothing more than just a moment of laughter. Poor inferiority-complex subhumans. If I didn't have a few of them as friends irl, I'd almost generalize.

Your long epistle to malign a tribe just because of this post, not only exposed you as an ethnic bigot full of latent hate, but a blithering dimwit.

Properties / Re: Lagos Govt List All The Illegal Estate Developments To Be Pulled Down In Epe Axi by SWATMan: 1:53am On Apr 22
Moroccoguy:
The Lagos State Government has taken decisive action against illegal estate developments in the Epe corridor of the state. Dr. Oluyinka Olumide, the Commissioner for Physical Planning and Urban Development, led a special joint exercise to the area, covering locations such as Alaro City, Okorisan, Igbodu, Molajoye, Shaala, Ketu, and Epe.

During the exercise, notices were served on estate developments including Patriot Bay Estate, Smart City Estate, The Legend, and Hilton Royal Garden, among others. Dr. Olumide emphasized that developers must obtain layout approval, planning permit, and fencing permit before commencing any estate development.

These requirements are essential for creating an organized, livable, and sustainable built environment. Layout approval ensures proper arrangement of the estate and allows for the provision of necessary services and infrastructure.

Planning permits address the planning requirements for individual plots within the estate. Dr. Olumide urged property up-takers and buyers to be cautious when investing in estates without approval to avoid unnecessary embarrassment and potential demolition of their property.

To assist developers and buyers, the Ministry of Physical Planning and Urban Development provides a planning information service. This service offers information on approvable developments, zoning arrangements, and approval orders for specific locations.

The ministry’s staff is also available to guide developers through the necessary processes. Mr. Oluwole Sotire, the Permanent Secretary of the Office of Physical Planning, emphasized the importance of obtaining all required approvals before starting any project.

Additionally, property owners and developers are encouraged to take advantage of the 90-day amnesty period to regularize their permits for existing buildings.

Crime / Re: 100-Year-Old Mother Killed By Her Son Over Palm Oil Proceeds In Osun by SWATMan: 9:59am On Apr 15
post=129445208:
A resident of Kajola Village near Apomu in Osun State, Lukman Adejoju, has been arrested by the police for allegedly killing his mother, Aminat, who was said to be around 100 years old, following a dispute over proceeds of palm oil they sold.

Sources resident in the village who knew about the incident but preferred to speak on the condition of anonymity told PUNCH Metro that it happened around 4:00 pm on Saturday when the suspect and the deceased were going to the farm.

A villager, who preferred anonymity, said the suspect attacked his mother due to a disagreement between them over the money they were to be paid by their labourer that assisted them in selling the palm oil.

Another villager, simply identified as Rasaki, said Lukman and the deceased mother hired the labourer, who assisted them in selling some kegs of palm oil.

Having assisted them in selling the items, he said the man wanted to remit the proceeds, and the late Aminat reportedly insisted that the money should be paid to her, which angered the suspect.

He further said, “Residents of the village were all disappointed when we heard of the incident. The incident happened in Kajola village near Apomu on Saturday at about 4 pm.

“We heard that Lukman who should be around 63 years old had a disagreement with her mother, Aminat, aged 100 years, over who should collect the proceeds from their palm oil plantation.

“A labourer that was hired by the two of them wanted to remit the proceeds of the sales but the mother insisted that she ought to receive it first. That led to a serious misunderstanding. Lukman attacked the woman and killed her.”

He said the incident led to tension resulting in the arrival of security agents like the police, Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, and others to douse the tension.

When contacted, the spokesperson for the Osun State Command of the NSCDC, Kehinde Adeleke, said the suspect was arrested and taken to a police station in Apomu, adding that normalcy had returned to the village.

The Osun State Police Public Relations Officer, Yemisi Opalola, who said the suspect had been transferred to the command headquarters in Osogbo for further investigation, noted that Lukman was helping investigation into the crime.

Opalola said, “They were both going to farm when they disagreed. The suspect said he could not explain the spirit that possessed him. He admitted that he pushed the deceased, who should be about 100 years old and the woman fell and died.

“He has been transferred to the Criminal Investigation Department in the headquarters in Osogbo for further investigations.”
