Buhari is a looser, bias and an unrealistic leader. He is never the messiah we had been looking for. Whenever i look at his eyes all i see is bigotism, hypocritism, religious fanaticism. |

seunfly: I have said it b4 that Nigerian gov is giving encouragement to bad things such as corruption, insecurity, lawlessness and favouritism. Each sucesive gov have compromised too much since military era just to consolidate their own power rather that give good governance. But Jonathan has over do his own partialy due to 2015 ambition and his minority status. Now a non violent peaple who is managing the situation we find our self will result to gov body language and the parson waiting 4 justice for the voilence papetrated against him or his peaple will be broken hearted because the voilent peaple has been compeciated instead of justice. Your absolutely correct and we hope the president is listening. We the Easthern youths are watching impatiently |

bluesaint: Why is it so difficult for you Nigerians to understand Achebe's philosophy and pains for the plight of Nigeria? Just why? Achebe doesn't hate Nigeria, but hated the way the affairs of the once promising nation is bein run. The looting, the lawlessness n all. Well, any civilian that wasn't entangled to the corruption of the government of the then and present will understand this. Achebe wasn't even in support of the secession of Biafra, but the Pogrom left him no choice. It was the only hope of survival. Don't you get? Some of you don't even understand the facts. Why is it so difficult to understand your own history? The Igbo nation will always celebrate its heroes and who cares if it makes u depressed? Achebe didn't win the Nobel for his style of writing. Get that! There are better writers in Africa at that time and even now...far better than Soyinka, but he won that year's prize in the category. If u care to know, the world celebrates Achebe in so many ways. I'm sure you are yet to know the man and understand what he stood for. You have said all dear, God bless you always |

Billyonaire: How does OPC defend Lagos against people who are suicidal ? Is there anyway to defend oneself against a determined suicide bomber ? The best way to defend oneself against Boko Haram is to inform Tinubu and Buhari to condemn terrorism in strong terms and not request for Amnesty for terrorists, they will eventually use the Amnesty funds to acquire more arms. Boko Haram is unlike MEND, the music is different. Your not far from the truth |

NINETOFIVE: You can not believe the extent an anger management class would help, non of your rants negate the fact that Yoruba elite base are of the Muslim stock which is understandable because they are the majority. yeah! blah blah blah Awo-Christian, Mko Abiola-Muslim, ObJ-christian, Tinubu-Muslim Fashola - muslim, Lateef Jakande- muslim.... you start to wonder who brought all these fine religious blend together and taught them all how to be kissing the the buttt of Hausa Fulani Muslims( which also does not negate my point that Yoruba Muslims has been playing dumb), OBJ Made it a do or die affair to rig in Yaradua, Let us not even talk about Awolowo.
Yeah! talking about who is miles ahead of who, you decide, even with all the execute power the presidency brings; not you the South Western Nigeria, not the Northern Nigeria could come up with the first Nigerian Indigenous Vehicle Manufacturing Company we did it in the East, that kind of stuff is over your heads, cause you lack the brain power to carry out that type of project. 10,000,000 likes Your da bomb dear. |

cjrane: Fashola speaks as though the wound has healed. No! It is still sore. It is worse when people like Fashola try to window dress the truth as if they have some moral authority to do so. Fashola should not ask a slapped child not to cry as a panacea, he should ask the abuser what the child did to merit such thousand slaps.
In America, after their civil war, they carefully collected data from all sides of the country to make their history balance. They didn't demonize the south of their country and deny infrastructural development on the excuse they were the rebel side as Nigeria is doing. They equally developed Georgia,Tennessee,Texas,Louisiana,Arkansas,Florida,Mississippi,Nevada, etc to become truly part of the United States. In Nigeria, Awolowo tried to impoverish Igbos and did everything in his power to make sure their region was impoverished and Igbo was not re-integrated into Nigeria which they were forced to be part of. Now,if Achebe writes that fact in his book it becomes a problem?
And pretenders like Fashola will talk their nonsense as if they truly are pan-Nigerian at heart. We all know the truth and it is a waste of time denying it to people who know it. God bless you dear, you have said it all. |
