iamoyindamola: Who knows if Pepe would have click if ozil was playing especially when our attackers are always feeding on scrap. Only in Europa and caraboa cup we are scoring team goals, in EPL na any where belle face. I think it's unhelpful (to a point) when we don't run with a No. 10 like Ozil. . Players are pulled toward Pepe, simply because there's no reason for them not to go to him: Özil at his best would make that an entirely different equation (or any good No. 10 for that matter). Those players would have second thoughts. Having said that, the No. 10 seems to be a dying breed in respect to the way football is currently played by top teams, so I'm not sure that Özil (or any No. 10) is a solution. I think a lot more success can come from finding a player who can pass from the deep, partnered with a player who can break up any attempts at defending Pepe. I think Pepe essentially needs a bit more space to think about what he is going to do so he can be much more effective. Pepe is playing in a system that doesnt suit him. |

Fkhalifa: For me he has been very good and justified his price tag, He definitely may not have that world class like Sallah's first season, but he proven to be a very key figure in this team.. There's a reason he is always on fans favorite line up and was voted Arsenal's POTY.
Lacazette is as important to the team as Auba or even more in big/tough games. He is similar to Firmino, he may not be giving you goals, but he'll give you points. He either assists, creates, start a good build up,win you penalties and score classic individual brilliance goals. Ok if you say so but left to me the jury is still out on him. We didn't sign him for £50m to be giving us stats that we use to insult giroud regularly for providing. His away record is really troubling. He has scored just 4 goals away for us in the premier league. |

BlueRayDick: I think he's unfortunate to have always been second choice.
When we still had Giroud he was the second choice behind Giroud.
Now we have Auba and he's still second choice. Do spite this, I think he's done his part and and has even done beyond my expectations. Considering the fact he's dealt with injuru concerns in the past, I think he has developed me well. At least he's scored some goals that have saved our face when we needed them. Agreed except the part you said he has done beyond expectations. I will say he hasn't proven his price tag. Lacazette as a striker has had a fairly mediocre return considering his price-tag, that's before we even get into his away goals record which is nothing to write home about. |

Emery's future may well rest on whether Pepe comes good/delivers or not - it looked as if Josh Kroenke was persuaded to get on board with opening the cheque book to buy him, and if he fails, someone is going to be blamed.
Pepe better comes good or that cheque book may never open again. |

spillo1: When Rijkaard took over Barca the previous 3 seasons they had finished 4th, 4th and 6th. They were in a real mess, much worse than when Pep took over. Yet even an average coach like Rijkaard, when working in the Barca structure was able to win both La Liga and the Champions league. So it shows there are very good reasons why people are still unsure about Pep. I don't get why there is this resistance to that kind of very reasonable thinking. Look at how the Spanish team was dominating internationally at that time, with Xavi and Iniesta at the heart of it. They were the best players at Euro 2008. Am I supposed to believe Luis Aragones is an amazing coach, as Spain were pretty fantastic at that time and this was before Pep? Then when Pep left Barca, didn't they win the league with their best ever points total, despite Tito being seriously ill and having to manage without him for much of the season. A coach less Barca creating records. If Pep was so vital to Barca's success, then how can he be replaced so easily by someone who is only there part time? Is Luis Enrique an amazing manager? At least you are objective unlike the other clowns. Yes Rijkaard took over when Barca was in a bigger mess than pep did,no argument from anyone but by no means was pep job easy as well. Real Madrid had won two titles in a row. Barca had finished 10 points below Villareal and barely qualified for the Champions league. They had to win their last league game to ensure qualification. They were also outclassed in the El Classico in 2007/2008. The decline of ronaldino was obvious . Pep took same really ballsy decisions getting rid of over half of the senior players in his first season for which he received ridicule and criticism from the media and fans. His transfer activity that season resembled a mass exodus. In hindsight it seems remarkable that he got so many decisions right. Comparing his starting 11 in the Champions final to Riijkard's starting 11 just 3 years ago they had only two players in common - Puyol and Valdes. That team was torn down and rebuilt. Ofcourse its much easier now to just say he had a great team to work with and everybody's grandmother could have won trophies with that team. |

Kimbeast: Yes Ranieri was good at Chelsea, Leicester and his first stint at Valencia only. Ranieri is not given enough credit for that Chelsea sides. Mourinho took all the credit for that Chelsea team . while Ranieri didn't actually win anything, it was clear to anyone that Chelsea were good in 2004 and with the new financial backing(Russian oil ha be Gas lol) they were only going to improve, so Mourinho comes along acting like the Messiah on the back of a team Ranieri had created, he only had to add a few tweaks and strengthen the squad, piss easy. |

Kimbeast: The Man has journeyed a lot.
Italy: Roma (twice), Inter Milan, Juventus, Parma, Fiorentina, Napoli, Cagliari
England: Fulham, Leicester City, Chelsea
France: Nantes, Monaco
Spain: Valencia (twice), Atletico Madrid
When you need to stabilize a club he is first choice. He has been awful in most his jobs. The Leicester City run was the biggest fluke in football history. Remember ranieri is the one who got Chelsea into the champions league which persuaded abramhovic to buy you guys if not you guys will still be finished mid table lol and one could argue that Mourinho won the premier league with the squad Ranieri built. You are selling ranieri short. |

Zidane won champions league 3 times in a row. Now imagine that zidane going to manchester united, and he has maximum support of the board, but after spending 1billion dollars, he couldn't get man yoo past 2nd to quater final of ucl, what would you say about his suCcess at real madrid?
Even without leaving madrid, people already credited his success to ronaldo..
