Travel / Re: General South Africa Visa Enquiries by Swith(m): 7:14pm On Jan 09, 2017
I applied for SA visitors visa at VFS Lagos on the 13th of DEC though my flight was scheduled on 24th DEC, But up till now I haven't gotten any message that the Visa is ready and when I checked online it says is still under process.

1.. is anyone also experiencing this?

2. What can I possibly do because it taking too much time?

3. Again since my I couldn't meet up with my flight schedule will it affect the Visa?

Anyone with useful info should assist me.
Thanks

Look at him. Shameless cultist/ex-cultist. SA are not for your kind, you had better drop your cultist movements/slurs/slangs or you'll be lynched upon by their xenophobic locals, the cops na another matter. Useless sombori.
lol. Abi na hahahahaha. Abeg who provoke you? Anyways am not a cultist and i have outgrown the age of having such intentions. I got to know those slangs when i hear cultists using them back then in school. Just trying to catch fun. Besides what has SA got to do with my comment? Bro calm down o.

A man sued airtel and he was paid N5m. Now in this recession you sue a whole bank and demand just N1m for security and damages for about 30years. Its not about being greedy but making judicious use of an opportunity like this to demand for at least N50m... I pity any firm or institution i will sue. Like if you concur.

Ebonyi rice is better than foreign rice. If you taste Ebonyi gold rice which has a high quality then you will understand that you has been feeding on poisoned abi chaff rice all in the name of foreign rice. Abeg yeye no get odour.

you can only do that within 30 days when you arrive here, after 30 days if you dont do it you wont do it again unless you go back and come again.
Thanks a lot. I appreciate your attention. One more last question please. Right now am processing my visitor's visa so i want to know when the 3 months will start counting. just arrived SA, lovely country, full of trees, very very cold and my friends are laughing at me even though they say it's summer, the stories I heard about immigration been harsh to Nigerians were different, my hotel reservation was just looked at and no call, my yellow card was ignored and i spent only 3 minutes with her, maybe it's the airline I went with, smooth flight.....but guys make sure you are confident of the docs you are giving them as what they really deal with is your body language, it's not a do or die to go to SA but it's fun....have fun
. That's great bro, you nailed it. Self confidence matters a lot. Brother please which airline did you use and for how much and again what is the current BTA i.e. Basic travel allowance demanded by the immigration officers. I asked because i will be in S.A. by the end of this month. Meanwhile do enjoy your stay.

Hello brother it is not easy to get SA work permit don't let people deceive you. It's only critical skills work permit you can easily get if you are graduate of engineering, sciences, medical and researcher. Thanks
. Thanks brother and i appreciate your kind response. Although am not a graduate of science courses, I graduated from banking and finance but am a good barber so if i apply for critical skills work permit with the certificate of barbers association then do you think i can get the visa or do you have ideas about business visa. Ur kind response again will be appreciated.

I wasn't asked anything at JFK Airport..I only typed my details digitally as requested.

I had a very non-forgettable terrible experience at Rome though....carry all your documents for peace sake abeg. Nigerians do not have a good reputation abroad. It's just terrible. Istanbul wasn't bad . Same with Oslo , Singapore and other African countries I have visited.

I dealt with the immigration guys at Monrovia though, they asked foolish questions. Can't believe I have to go through stress to enter an African country. It's simply ridiculous
. Lol as a sharp naija guy. Pls can you share some of the questions you are been asked and again do you know the BTA. Basic travel allowance for south africa. I heard that one might be asked. I wil be leaving for S.A by the end of this month. I just need to know.
