Imho, Nigeria cannot improve to d level of competiting for a place in d WC semis until we have players playing major roles in big clubs like Madrid, Barcelona, Bayern, Chelsea, Arsenal, Man U and co. The only 2 players we have in top clubs, Mikel and Moses are bench warmers. U need big name players to go beyond d 2nd rnd of the WC. Take a look at the Brazilian, Dutch, German, Argentine, French, Belgian teams of this world. Their players are top players even in their top clubs.

Believe it or not, top NFF officials visit the sports section of nairaland. At least I know one of them dat does that. Yeah, their passports say dey are 21. After all the likes of Okocha, Amokachi, Oliseh, Ikpeba and Amuneke featured in 1994 WC and still featured in 1996 Olympics.
Grooming them together is the way to go. The likes of Emenike, Osaze, and Mikel may nt feature in 2018 WC so we need to start grooming that team now. The likes of Echiejile, Ambrose, Oboabona, oshaniwa and Moses who are still in their mid 20s can still be in the mix if dey dnt lose form. Infact any 3 of them can be included as part of the approved over aged players if we qualify for the Olympics proper.
