Finally was able to restore my backup. Just a headsup to y'all, do not rename your backup, it will keep saying md5 mismatch error. I renamed mine back to the original before it was able to restore. |
maxdozie: bro sowie about dat... dia is always a way out...ehn its it's the way out I'm asking for. Or if anybody has gionee e3 stock rom |
I'm pretty dead right now. I installed that note III rom maxdozie uploaded and the extra zip file for indian firmware users and rebooted. I switched on and it was stuck on that gionee smartphone logo. I tried restoring my backup but they have md5 mismatch error. Now I'm stuck with a bricked or bootlooped (I don't know which) phone. Anything I can do? |
Coolstan: system has nothing to do with phone memory. System means your phone ROM which normally isn't accessible to you. Feel free to format it before flashing Roms as your files stored in your phones internal SD storage will not be affectedthanks bro |
Do you really have to format system before fashing another rom? Because i have things stored on my phone memory that i don't want deleted. Thankss |

Phoenix619: if your play store is not opening, use rom toolbox pro or root explorer go to browse root / etc. Look for 'hosts, open it and add # to the first numbers there. It should be something like this #74.125.93.113My root folder is completely empty... Is that normal? |
