9 JAMB Candidates Die In Accident
No fewer than nine candidates going to sit for the Joint
Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) examinations
today were feared dead in an auto crash on the Aba-Port
Harcourt Expressway.

The Public Relations Officer of the Abia
State Police Command, Mr Geoffrey
Ogbonna, said seven persons, including
the driver died instantly while two others
died later in hospital. The police did not
identify the victims.
The police image maker said that the
candidates were travelling on a Hiace bus
with registration number Rivers XY 249
from Port Harcourt to Aba.
Ogbonna said that the driver of the bus
rammed into a truck with with registration
number Lagos XC 109 SLK, parked off the
road.
He said that the accident occurred at
Obeaku-Ihie in the Ugwunagbor Local
Government Area of Abia at about 10.40
a.m.
Ogbonna said that the dead had been
deposited at the mortuary while six
survivors of the accident were in critical
condition and receiving medical attention
in a hospital Aba.
He said that the 15 seater-bus, was
conveying mainly people, going to sit for
the JAMB examination, slated for 27 April.
According to him, the clue comes from the
items recovered at the scene of the
accident.
A witness, Mr Peter Okolo, attributed the
accident to over-speeding and
recklessness on the part of the driver.
He said that the driver lost control of the
vehicle when he wanted to overtake a
vehicle in front of him.
“When he saw an upcoming vehicle while
he was over-taking the car in front of him,
he veered off the road and then rammed
into the truck parked off the road,” Okolo said

If the school gmt says it was because of the school SUG ELECTION, the the entire board of the school are liars. Last 2 weeks b4 the students week, their was SENATORIAL ELECTION, why didn't the losers burn or cause riot. Take note the SUG MAIN ELECTION WAS BILLED TO HOLD ON FRIDAY NOT WEDNESDAY, SO IF ANYBODY WANTS TO DISRUPT THE ELECTION IT WILL BE ON THE ELECTION DAY NOT 2 DAYS B4 THE ELECTION AND EVEN AT THAT NOT ALMOST ALL THE STUDENTS WILL BE INVOLVED. THE SAME THING THAT SENT THE RECTOR'S HUSBAND PARKING FROM FUTO WILL ALSO SEND HER PARKING FROM NEKEDE.

Please let me advice, b4 u respond to any post make sure you know what lead to whatsoever b4 you start opening writing things that are not called for. The students were gathering in front of the school gate not inside oh, for a peaceful protest to the govt house owerri, what the school man O'WAR did was to start shooting into the air beating the students up. The students that couldn't run fell into the gutter, so in retaliation this is what the school is getting. What is the shooting for when the students weren't destroying anything or even stopping people from entering the school. Now every body is blaming the students, the SUG office was burnt because the NEW RECTOR is using him as a tool so the students are saying that they don't want any SUG AGAIN IN THE SCHOOL IF THEY CANNOT PROTECT THE INTEREST THE STUDENTS, NO MORE MAN O'WAR IF THEY HAVE FORGOTTING THAT SCHOOL SECURITY IS MAIN TO PREVENT CULTS IN SCHOOL BUT IF YOU SEE THE WAY THIS BOYS HAND THEIR FELLOW STUDENTS YOU WILL GET ANNOYED AND FINALLY THE FEDERAL GOVT SHOULD SEND A NEW RECTOR FOR THE STUDENTS. WHEN SHE WAS APPOINT THE STUDENTS ACCEPTED HER AS A LADY BCUZ IT HAS NEVER HAPPEN IN THE HISTORY OF THE SCHOOL THAT A LADY WAS APPOINTED A RECTOR, SO AS A MOTHER SHE WAS WELCOMED. NOT KNOWING THE MEN WERE MORE MOTHERLY AND THINKS OF THE WELFARE OF THE STUDENTS THAN THIS LADY. SHE WANTS TO STOP ALL CHRISTIAN ACTIVITIES IN THE CAMPUS, JUST IMAGIN. SO THE STUDENTS ARE NOT JUST SHOUTING OR DESTROYING THINGS FOR DESTROYING SAKE, THOUGH I CONDEMN THE ACT, BUT ALSO KNOW THAT THIS INFO OF INCREMENT HAS BEEN SINCE FEBRUARY THIS, THE STUDENTS HAS BEING DIALOGUING WITH HER UPTIL THIS DAY. IT GOT WOST WHEN THE STUDENTS PERCEIVE THAT THE DEADLINE FOR PAYMENT OR YOU LOSS YOUR ADMISSION WAS THIS FRIDAY.

As early as 5:30 i was already inside the school at about 7:15, the school man O'war starting shooting at the gate to scare the students. As if i knew it was going to get to this point my statement was ''IT'S WRONG FOR THE O'war to shoot any gun, THAT YOU DON'T START WHAT YOU DON'T WANT''. WHEN THEIR BULLET GOT EXHAUSTED THEY CAMPER FOR SAFETY BECAUSE THE STUDENTS WERE THEN IN THEIR THOUSANDS. THAT WAS HOW IT ALL STARTED. THEY STARTED THE DESTRUCTION 4RM THE SCHOOL GATE AFTER PULLING IT DOWN AND BURNING THE SURETY OFF OUT THE GATE, THEY WENT TO THE MAN O'WAR AND SUG OFFICE THERE THEY BURNT THE SUG OFFICE B4 LOOTING COMPUTERS FROM THE MICRO SOFT VILLAGE INSIDE THE SCHOOL WITH SOME OTHER DANGEROUS THINGS THAT HAPPENED. SO VANGUARD ALWAYS GET DETAILS OF HAPPENINGS B4 YOU MAKE ANY FORM OF PUBLICATION.
