TheSuperNerd: DRC World Cup Squad 2026.
No Jorthy Mokio of Ajax.
No Senny Mayulu of PSG.
I guess the switch processes wont be ready in time for the duo. Maybe it's just me sha but this team looks uninspiring on paper |

2x league winner and gets to score the title winning goal for the second one...great feats Osimhen but it's time to move on from Turkey already while your ceiling is still high. |

Damioduso1: I see ivory coast doing well in this year world cup in June next month Meanwhile we still dey struggle to get ordinary Nwaneri or Osuala lol, omo all the best to Ivory Coast jare, countries that are serious with their football shouldn't have to worry about struggling to get the best of their dual nationals...definitely my team to support at the world cup. |

Starboytwo: What do you mean stuck in turkey?? Is Osimhen, our best striker not stuck in Turkey?? Onuachu is our best striker this season in all of Europe by sheer numbers…You can’t call SE strikers today and not call him… Osimhen ending up in Turkey was always an anomaly considering the elite profile he attained following his Seria A exploits. Once again just for clarity sake I'm not taking anything away from Onuachu, he has rightfully earned his stripes as our most in-form striker currently. I'm only worried we seem to have no sustaining quality after Osimhen in that #9 role. |

Starboytwo: Best Nigerian striker in Europe. Why won’t he relish his chance 🤷🏾🤷🏾 Onuachu is good but there's a reason why he is stuck in Turkey, he's already in his 30's and won't exactly be the same player in 5 years time except he has freak genetics like CR7. The goal (if we had a serious football administration) should be to plan for the next 5-10 years, that's why Senegal, Morocco, CIV, DRC etc are doing better than us right now. |

zicky: We are the only national team that's always building for the future but with nothing to show. Well blame your NFF for that, when you don't have a thriving or existing youth system to produce quality young talents; we are forced to rely on a 30 yr old in Turkey as our hope to net our goals. |

Trump wants Italy to replace Iran at the world cup and the Italian FA say no, considering that offer as too patronizing and undeserving for them...which leaves the Iran's slot possibly open to the other high ranked teams that didn't qualify. Are you thinking what I'm thinking? na hope I dey hope o |

Ppogbae: Imagine not having the likes of Lookman and Osimhen at the World Cup? Make that two straight world cups in fact!
The NFF should rot in hell-fiery perdition. That's what makes this feat by Lookman even painful, it makes no sense. |

TheSuperNerd: Abduljaleel Abdulateef, 19 started for Odds BK in their 3-0 win vs Sogndal in the Norwegian Obos Ligaen (2nd tier).
Mukhtar Adamu, 19 (CDM) came off the bench for Odds on 82mins
Jamiu Musbaudeen, 21 (CM) played all 90 as his side, Moss FK won 3-2 away at Åsane in the Norwegian Obos Ligaen. I've been seeing lots of young talented Northern players popping up across Europe lately, really encouraging to see cause we need more opportunities for them in the national teams. |

TheSuperNerd: A closeup of the Wonder Goal by ⚡️adok
NFF and their useless scouts (if they even have any) won't see this type of players to call up and rebuild around. We currently don't even have a functioning U17-U23 team, yet we have the talented young players scattered across Europe with an existing database of them...yet the Zamfara dunce who calls himself NFF president has shown no initiative in organizing friendly matches for all this talent pool of young players to build cohesion and chemistry. Bunch of idiots |

Now same Alhassan Yusuf that was constantly castigated here yet rated by me is being mentioned in fine light just to talk down on Nwadike. Lol... Time is a beautiful thing. Maybe Chelle hasn't figured out how to use him and has played him out of position? Maybe Onyedika should be tried in a more advanced midfield role? |

yinkeys: Talk is cheap Did you watch the Iran & Jordan games I hope you know Osimhen would not be available I will remind you on that day This coach didn’t impress me He would have tried out good replacements for Osimhen Why play Lookman for long hours The friendlies should’ve been used to try out a solid team B but it was below par to me Not a great window for our football Portugal 3 - 0 Nigeria Well it's your opinion, but your first mistake (perhaps due to your entitlement as a Nigerian who thinks we're too good for Iran and Jordan) is to feel those two teams are bad teams by any stretch, they're among the better/ improved teams in their continent...and they are world cup bound while you're not; so maybe they deserve some respect? We beat Iran and largely outplayed them (Iran are no pushovers these days, they demolished Costa Rica 5-0), we played out a fair draw against Jordan who are Asian champions and if you follow their football rise, they've been very competitive. Secondly the whole goal of the friendly just like every international friendly was to try out new players and see which of them are good enough to transition to the main team, and I think that mission was somewhat achieved with the emergence of Fernandez and Otele...we experimented with a new defence lacking our key players and goal keeper cause Uzoho and Adeleye are just not it- and we at least know our indispensable defence will always consist of Bassey, Benjamin Fredrick, Ajayi, Fernandez and Nwaiwu. So I genuinely don't know what makes you think a complete Nigerian team under a manager that has yet to lose a game in regular time, whose team knows how to score goals, and has played very good football for majority of his stint will suddenly lose badly to Portugal because of some low profile friendly where we didn't even have a single Nigerian fan to cheer the team. Portugal will most likely beat us, but it won't be an embarrassing outing by us and I'm willing to bet any amount on that (put your money on the bet).u |
