Sani to Leipzig
Moffi to Porto
Nnadi to Marseille
Mola to Atletico Madrid
Ogundu to Augsburg
Obah to Shakthar Doneskt
Salim to Viktoria Plzen
Otele to Hamburg

Good window so far for our players 😊😊😊😊😊
The new generation (with the exception of Ademola) is looking exciting, NFF should get their acts together and dare not make the mistake of allowing this new boys miss another world cup if FIFA don't favor us on this DRC case...it will be a travesty if we Bleep this up.

I gave up on Ejuke after that Tunisia game in AFCON. Guy came in and was just losing the ball trying to dribble. Too worsen matters, the only time he was played through, and had a better placed Osimhen to pass to, he went for personal glory and missed the chance.

Sinon too is not better. The way he rolls the ball with the side of his boots when with the ball is annoying. He wastes too much time on the ball, allows opponents to recover to double-mark him and kills promising attacks.

Nathan Tella in Leverkusen isn't better too, so I'm glad other wingers/wing forwards are emerging.
Time to phase out the likes of Simon Moses and give younger prospects like Prosper Obah, Philip Otele and Suleiman Sani a chance to give us refreshing ideas on those wings. Osimhen etc get starved of quality service from the wings because the ones we have there are glorified atilogwu dancers at best.

Simon is not even my problem but Ejike. That guy still plays secondary school football. I don’t mind having Simon around instead of Ejike
Both Simon and Ejuke have no business in the SE, I watched Simon in our 3rd place match against Egypt and was shocked at how badly he has regressed, the guy just does the same headless chicken touchline runs and then does his legendary crosses down a blind alley to nobody, rinse and repeat.

To be honest, Senegal got off very lightly. $600K can easily be played by the players themselves.

5 game ban for Thiaw? That’s just 5 of 6 games in the next AFCONQ, he’ll still be at the next WC and AFCON.

I even thought CAF would ban them from the next AFCON
Both teams got off to easy, literally a slap on the wrist...

At this point, it's obvious CAF isn't gonna take this towel business seriously coz it involves Morocco. All the talk of law and fairness is a facade when things like this keep getting ignored.
Lol it's obvious CAF won't do shit to Moroccan FA, didn't you see how Motsepe was sucking up to the whole Moroccan monarchy during the AFCON.

So NFF can't find a top European or South American world cup bound team willing to play us in this international friendly window? at least we are 3rd in CAF ranking and 26 in world rankings coming off an impressive AFCON with an exciting coach...surely a decent Euro team should find us worthy opponents to use to size up the African teams in their world cup groups?

Na wa o...

I have no confidence in either of the two leading the lines, same as Tolu, but Onuachu trumps both as a sub-striker(playing behind the main striker) because he has a better footwork and his linkup play is good. That said, my choice is a fit Terem Moffi.

Osimhen
Akor
Moffi

Let Moffi find a club first and get back to form, he has done absolutely nothing of note to make any serious persons top 3 choice.

FIFA need to hurry up and kick out DR Congo abeg, our boys are too hot in form not to make this world cup especially under Chelle, even if we qualify by backdoor runs I don't care anymore, you can't shame the shameless grin grin

Meanwhile Chibuike Nwaiwu had a very good game for Trabzonspor and is fast becoming a fan's favorite there, another quality addition to our strong CB depth, Bassey will have solid partners for years to come.

This lad is a proper baller. A good winger. Was really good at LNZ Cherkasy so Shakhtar had to snap him up not just because he is a strong talent but also to weaken their rivals for the title. Lol
If he's this rated to be snapped by a decent club like Shaktar then that's a positive news, we need players like Simon Moses replaced fast if this kid plays the same position.

I hope so, but the body language of infantino and Motsepe suggests they were not happy about Senegal winning the AFCON during the trophy presentation, won't put it past FIFA to play bad politics here and screw Senegal here.

Curiously you didn't mention Chrisantus Uche for the midfield. Is it that he doesn't fit anywhere in our midfield set up?

By the way, I don't like players like Dele Bashiru who have no clear and defined roles. Much like how several coaches found it hard to deploy Iheanacho towards the twilight of his national team career.
Maybe because many see Christiantus Uche more as a forward than a midfielder.

We're talking football here and I hate anything like agenda or hate...or did you see anyone advocating for Iheanacho prior to Afcon?...I just used Awaziem to buttress my point that anything can happen, yes the team is taking shape and it will be good seeing young talents making the team
The constant here is that the Iheanacho ship has sailed a long time ago, even Awaziem made the AFCON squad only because Benjamin Frederick was injured...our CB depth has already picked itself- Bassey, Benjamin,Ajayi, Igoh Ogbu and most likely Chibuike Nwaiwu.

It is now I know you are not following up. Person wey still play this month. Rafiu and Orban are still coming up. They have not reached Awoniyi level.
So a benchwarmer is good enough for the national team, but 2 young players who are doing well in the Seria A are still coming up? with this logic I can see why our national team is a joke, very nice one bro.

If Awaziem can still be considered as super eagles player that just finished Afcon then don't write Iheanacho off.
And how many games did Awaziem play at the AFCON? Chelle isn't calling up Iheanacho as long as he's coach, so make una dead that agenda.

What kind of mischievous writeup be dis? How can you compare Awoniyi with Ahmed and Ighalo that has retired?

Has Awoniyi retired? Is he not still playing in EPL?

Oga, Awoniyi is too injury prone, when last did he play a game for Nottingham? instead of talking about players like Rafiu, Orban etc na Awoniyi we still dey discuss...abeg!

Bro Iheanacho is truly not old yet
This isn't about age, it's about recycling the same players we've known for years...Iheanacho has always been one of my favorite players but his work rate is poor and we've been through that route already with players with those attributes, no disrespect to senior man but I struggle to see anything new and interesting he can offer us at this point. Sometimes it's just best to close the chapter on certain things.

E get one of their handle I dey follow for X, na so dem dey showcase crazy young talents especially midfielders every day. And when I check I will find out that those players aren't even part of their senior team yet, I go just dey wish say we dey produce talents in same proportions too.

Generation-Foot and other great academies in their country have really helped them.
Bro they're far ahead of many African countries right now, it's actually crazy.

Senegal football is in safe hands for years to come

Funny I was about to do something similar to this.

I will say Onyedika is a perfect replacement for Ndidi, if not better when not playing against high pressing teams. How about Uche to deputize Onyeka, considering strength and ball carrying abilities.

I think Chukwueze is the closest to Lookman in that role.

At CF, I will say we have solid 3. Onuachu should definitely be in.

I'm not sold on our wingers yet. Moses should be phased out soon.
Una no dey rate Nigeria for this subforum sha, Onuachu as how? Did you watch how ridiculously bad he was vs Egypt in our 3rd place match grin...na so another person take mention Iheanacho making a comeback, in 2026? why not then bring back or unretire the likes of Ahmed Musa, Ighalo, Awoniyi and other players who are in the football twilight of their playing careers.. exciting football no dey sweet una otherwise we should be talking about building around Osimhen, Akor and then others like Gift Orban, Rafiu Durosinmi, Philip Otele, Sani Suleman, Njinmah, Femi Azeez, Shola Shoretire and if NFF are serious try court Ethan Nwaneri, Rio Ngumoha, George Ilenikhena, Emmanuel Emegha and other dual nationals who will elevate our attacking options to a 100... players like Onuachu and Moses Simon should be phased out respectfully in 2026, dem don try.

may God remember Iheanacho and restore his form. Having an in-form Iheanacho and Lookman for that role behind the two strikers will be a very big boost to the team. Any shot on target from an in-form Iheanacho is goal, plus his defense-splitting and pinpoint passes.
We're talking about the future this one dey drag us back to Iheanacho in 2026! see how serious teams like Senegal, CIV, Morocco, Cameroon, DRC etc are boosting their squad with younger exciting talents and we are seeing the top level football from them, na why we no dey make progress in Nigeria...always recycling deadweights who are already past it, smh.

Omo we need to wake up fast and win one more AFCON, likes of Senegal are fast catching up and it will be a shame if they meet us at 3 AFCON titles and even surpass us...AFCONs 27/28 is a must, we have to win one of those editions otherwise we will become a meme narrative of a team that makes the most semi-finals or finals and never win it.

And it finally settles it that Sadio Mane has had a better career than Salah, arguably the better player all things considered.
