Brightgem: On the other hand, I don't know how Nairaland works! Pathetic? Yeah, I know. Let me not derail, I will contact you through either of the two ways once highlighted. Quick question, though: are they still open? Just asking, you know? PS: I forgot to answer your question, sorry about that. I am doing great, anyways. |

Please, talk to a general practitioner on this. You are depressed and you shouldn't be bashful about it. It is absolutely normal to be depressed but leaving it unattended to is chaotic. So, please, talk to a practitioner. Good luck, friend. |
Romance / Re: What A Man Calls Real Beauty... by syras: 6:38am On Mar 02, 2017 |
As a man, I am captivated by how beautiful or gorgeous a lady is. However, what keeps me will only be her character. So, I agree with your guy on that. And, I think most men will concur either. PS: I am not talking for a cheater here because a cheater will always be a cheater. |

Islam for Muslims / Re: Muslim Singles, Let Us Have A Talk by syras: 6:52pm On Jul 15, 2016 |
As for me, I shall want someone who's muslimah (and understands Islam). She has to be beautiful both inside (i.e. character-wise) and out (i.e. gorgeous ). A real person who never pretends and mature (i.e. she knows what marriage is about). She should be real as she could. The complexion of the lady should be light skin, and she should know how to make a very wonderful conversation. By the way, I hope I am right on time. |

dearpreye: Well, you got an idea of what the author is trying to pass across. There are basically four temperaments namely: Sanguine, Choleric, Phlegmatic and Melancholy just as you highlighted. But, to determine which temperament you are, you've gotta know how each of these temperament behaves. However, I need to stress at this point that, no single individual has one genre of temperament. The least one can have are two - as it also depends on the percentage combination. For instance, Mr 'A' might be a combination of Sanguine and Phlegmatic in 60% and 40% respectively. What the above utterance means is that, Mr 'A' is more of an extroverted being than reserved. Though, the introverted aspect of Mr 'A' cannot be overshadowed. Thus, sometimes, Mr 'A' might appear bashful. Now, let me succinctly introduce you to these temperaments so as to work out yours. Here they come: 1. Sanguine (the talker): relational and extroverted people. 2. Choleric (the doer): organizational and extroverted kinds of people. 3. Phlegmatic (the watcher): relational and introverted people. 4. Melancholy (the thinker): thoughtful and introverted nodes of beings. I think with these little tips, you got yours discovered. Did you?! Lastly, was I able to answer you question? Thanks. 1 Like 1 Share |

I recently am reading "Why You Act the Way You Do" by Tim LaHaye. The book discusses different "temperaments" possessed by everyone. Some of these temperaments are boiling while some are subtle. However, it is of great importance to ascertain which one one has to better understand ones nature as it is to analyse someone else's to settle conflict. I see an opportunity in this book for it can be of great aid to entrepreneurs - as they need to surround themselves with the "right" people. Thus, it is a major way to recruit. I shall enjoin everyone to read it. Thanks Dearpreye for the thread, though. 1 Like 1 Share |
Travel / Re: Malaysia Student Visa by syras: 12:55am On Jun 13, 2015 |
To apply for a Malaysian student visa, you gotta apply to a school of your choice. After the application, the institution will offer you an admission based on their evaluation. If the admission is offered, you gotta send your medical report alongside some important documents required of you to the institution. It is after these documents are received that the institution will apply for visa approval on your behalf. The key thing to note about Malaysian student visa is that, the college that offered you admission applies for your visa approval. You need to worry less about the visa now. Apply and get yourself and admission offer. That is the first thing. I wish you good luck in the journey ahead, Cash4real. |

Adamo84: Adamo84, that was a very great observation, but, lineage as used in this context doesn't have to do with the tribe such a person hails from, but rather, the person's and parent's character just like you've pointed out. Jazakumullahu khaeran for the observation, though. |

Romance / Re: Dating Tips For Guys To Know - The Qualities That Attract Women by syras: 10:39pm On Dec 27, 2014 |
I shall be grateful if the "op" distinguishes Nigerian ladies from American/Canadian/any other country. Why?! Simply because none of those qualities shall get a woman from Nigeria. All that matters to them is MONEY. If you got no cash, you are surely doomed men!!! Ain't any of those aforementioned shit get them. Well, not all Nigerian ladies, though. |
Romance / Re: 10 Reasons Why Women Go Into Lesbianism by syras: 10:30pm On Dec 27, 2014 |
;DI do agree with most of the points, though. But, I see lesbianism as insanity - as I wonder how two same polarities attract. Lesbianism seriously violates the law of magnetism. |
Islam for Muslims / Re: Muslim Singles: Why Are You Not Married? by syras: 2:21pm On Dec 26, 2014 |
Newkidoo: Greetings, In Islam, certain criteria are looked into when one wants to marry. These are: *Beauty. *Family lineage. *Financial status of the person in question. *Deen (religion). I must stress at this point that, the financial status of the person plays less importance in choosing a responsible and dependable spouse - as the last prophet Muhammad (saw) says: " if a man approaches you (father) to seek your daughter's hand in marriage, with whom you are contented with his religion and his lineage, then, you should rightly give him your daughter because, if you don't, "fitnah (oppression)" shall spread there-in on earth" (chain of hadith narrated by Bukhari and Muslim). From the prophetic saying aforementioned, the last prophet Muhammad (saw) did not hammer so much on the fortune of the person, but, rather on the RELIGION and LINEAGE. These two qualities are most important when searching for a spouse. However, beauty and fortune are equally essential but, should not be major yardsticks for spouse's selection. Some islamic scholars do argue that, there isn't harm in marrying a person with opposite believe. This argument has an elucidation, though. ONLY A MUSLIM MAN CAN GO AHEAD TO MARRY A WOMAN OR LADY WITH OPPOSITE BELIEVE. IT DOESN'T WORK THE OTHER WAY ROUND. But, I ask this question: why marry a person with reverse believe when those people with exactly your believe are bountiful on ground?! In brevity, a christian can marry a muslim, but, only if the christian is a lady or woman wishing to get hooked up with a muslim man. 7 Likes |

Romance / Re: Guys, Can You Date A Lady Who Cant Cook?, And Are You Willing To Teach Her.. by syras: 4:00am On Dec 25, 2014 |
First, I can't cook. So, I wonder how I shall be able to put my lady through on that. However, I can go extra mile to ascertain that she turns one of the greatest cook the world has ever known - as I can put her in school that does that. Besides, I cherish nice scrumptious meal. That's the major love language I have. So, for me, it is compulsory my lady to know how to make one. |

Just like Bisous had written above, "love does matter" but, a lot of things come into play if one wanna veneer towards marriage. It is on that I part my way with Bisous - as I do not agree with what she had offered on that but, I concur with the listed below: *Lineage. *Beauty/handsomeness. *Religion. *Money. I stand to be corrected, though. |
