Politics › Re: Labour Party Is Not Youth Movement But Igbo Agenda by Taba21: 11:27pm On Mar 10, 2023
Nvestor02:
All the mumu Yoruba youths in Lagos still believing LP is a youth movement should take a look at these LP candidates in Lagos.

Are you saying LP cannot field sons and daughters of the soil? Gbadebo is 90% Igbo mama's boy, married to Igbo girl. He can't even speak Yoruba. All his past posts were about BIAFRA and IPOB.

All the candidates seeking for election into Lagos State House of Assembly under Labour Party are of Igbo Descent. Does that not raise your suspicion? Igbo hegemony gradually creeping out and will rear it's ugly head in no time if the excesses are not curbed by coming out on Saturday to vote en masse for Sanwoolu and other strictly Yoruba candidates.

In Ondo state, Igbo is the candidate. Why? Can a Yoruba man dare come forward in Igboland? Call me a tribalist.... whatever you deem. I'm a passionate Yoruba girl and I don't intend to sell my birthright to strangers who brazenly and unapologetically lay claim to my land.

I'm looking at Lagosians with a keen interest. Once Igbos take over your state, you've lost the respect of other SouthWestern states. You'll no longer become relevant.

Don't let envy, hate and jealousy divide your unity. Take back your land from usurpers. You saw what they did in their region during the last election.

LP is an Igbo movement, not a youth movement. They fooled you all. Don't let them fool you twice.
Let Igbo take Yoruba capital, I promise the Yoruba people they will become Palestine.

ScamHunter:
So they shouldn't disturb Igbo in Lagos.
Alternatively, they should join hands with Nigeria and call for an Igbo referendum. In the sixties, it was the northerners destroying Igbo businesses out of jealousy. Today, the north seems to have refined and working hard for themselves. Yoruba has become the problem of Igbo because of jealousy that the north has outgrown.

You cannot hate Igbo and still fight against them leaving the country for you. It's a sign that you're either a witch, a wizard, a ruler of darkness or a spiritual wickedness in heavenly places.

I don't know the reason why we should be in the same country and still segregate. Judging from what APC is doing in Lagos, I shouldn't give a job to a Yoruba man, even if he's qualified. I had a very good mechanic, a Yoruba guy. In fact, he's one of the very few guys I trust with my BMW. The Nigeria APC is projecting is one that promotes incompetence and crookedness. We saw it on February 25. If we all promote criminality like APC, what chaos would we have in Nigeria.

If Igbo do not disturb your agbo sellers, it's wickedness to disturb and even burn down Igbo businesses. Ndigbo are even doing you a favor by doing business in your tribal area. Remember how Lagos be when Ndigbo leave during Christmas. Don't even forget that there'll be no Tim Can, Snake Island, Apapa Wharf or even Lekki EFZ without Igbo businesses.

A million skulls mined daily won't give you the IGR Ndigbo generate in Yorubaland.

Do be advised.
You should be ashamed of yourself how many Yoruba or other Nigeria tribes residing in Igbo land.

Fear these people and be careful with them before it is too late. That was how they were supporting IPOB ESN, until it backfired.
They are fond of claiming people lands and Territories, that is how they included Benue, Rivers and other south south territories into their quest for Biafra until these other people started questioning and objecting their ungodly inclusion into the Biafra quest.
Now they are trying to drag power with their host, the only place in the country they feel most welcomed and comfortable, far comfortable than their own territory.

I partly blame Tinubu for their involvement in Lagos politics, he brought them in, he gave them that undue privilege. Do unto others what you have them do unto you. Ordinary presidential election they only voted for their tribesman and rained insults and hatred for other people's preferred candidate... The results from the region is clear enough, yet you want to drag with another man's land.

I love the north for not giving them such undue privilege. Since you are good at developing other people's territories, stay in your land and develop it. This will attract people to your region, home and away.

LAGOS NO BE NO MAN'S LAND. NA YORUBAS GET AM, GEOGRAPHICALLY, HISTORICALLY, CULTURALLY AND POLITICALLY.
Good morning it's too late let Igbo rule Lagos the capital of Yoruba, after all you sold yourselves for 12 pieces of bronze not even silver

Let's be frank please, if Igbos leave markets in Lagos, there'll be shortage of goods and most of the markets will be empty, same as if Yoruba women leave Agbo business and sachet drinks, there's will be no more cheap herbal medicine to help cure our jedi jedi and weak erections.

Igbos control the markets in Nigeria. Anything buying and selling, leave it for them.

Yorubas are incharge of agbo and sachet drinks with amala and ewedu.

Make everybody maintain their lane for peaceful coexistence.

When will indigenes of several states/regions stop the Igbo domination of their market space?

Back in the 80's,many women own and sell their wears in Mile 2 Market,Lagos. It was filled with Yorubamen and women with few Igbos.

Slowly the matket place turned to Igbo dominated market when Easterners started to troop into Lagos enmass from their region.

There was competition for housing, school, health care, transport, food continued until prices of goods and services skyrocketed only to be available to the highest bidders.

The State govts need to make a law in all states so the indigenes of each region must have at least 85% of the market space for trading etc.Non indigenes of the region can only get 15% market space.

Some trading must be reserved for indigenes of the region and prohibited to non indigenes. This will be a protectionist law where Indigenes can thrivein yheir regions.

The Igbo domination of market place in other regions only bring poverty.
,penury, hopelessness to the indigenes who cant compete with drug pushers.

We need to bring back our markets to the indigenes.Thete is nothing Igbos are doing in our regions that we cant do better than them.Igbo markets will crumble if we the indigenes stop to patronize them but own people.

Make your suggestions
Any tribes that want to progress in Nigeria should give Igbo a long boundary

Wike's hatred for igbos is worse than Fulanis. That hatred made him work against Obi in the last presidential election. People think it is because of interest that made wike work for Tinubu. But that is not the whole truth. If the labour party candidate happens to be a northerner, wike would have worked for him. His deep hatred for igbos is the reason he supported Tinubu.

Just look at Igbo dominated part of Rivers State,Oyigbo, Ikokwu etc. Wike locked down those places up till now except some part of obigbo. Yet,he has the conscience to still go there to campaign. His foolishness is legendary
The ones that is currently happens in Lagos is wike, I think just said every tribes hates Igbo because of their dirty life

Sapele is in Delta na.. so Igbos don show them too for that side.

I am aware that at a point in time in Lagos, Igbos were going to L.G.As to change street names from their original name to their Igbo names but didn't succeed. Our people still had sense back then not the dullards growing among Yoruba population now who will jump at money blindly to sell their heritage.
That is how Igbo behave don't give an Igbo man a total freedom in your region if not you will regret it.

Don't Deny Southeast Senate Presidency - Pressure Group Urges APC Leadership

Ahead of the inauguration of the 10th National Assembly in June this year, a group known as Coalition of Ethnic Nationalities for Better Nigeria (CENBN) has advised the leadership of the ruling All Progressives Congress not to over flog the Southeast geopolitical zone on the account of the party's poor performance in region.

In a statement released to newsmen after it's executive meeting in Jos on Wednesday, the group said the President-elect should show political maturity by embracing all parts of the country irrespective of their political inclinations in the last elections.

Adding that it would amount to clear injustice and persecution of the zone if the Senate Presidency is denied the region.

It was understandable that the region did not meet the standing rules of the Senate to produce Senate President in 2015 and 2019 because there was no high ranking Senator of APC extraction from the zone but the reality has changed this time around because the region not only produced APC senators but also a high ranking Senator like Senator Orji Kalu with requisite experience and exposure to lead the 10th Senate later in the year.

Noting that the last time a Southwest man was elected president of Nigeria, a Northeast man was his deputy while Southeast men where elected Senate Presidents.

Accordingly, history has repeated itself with the emergence of Southwest and Northeast persons as President and Vice President-elect.

Therefore, it is apt that the leadership of APC should not deny the Southeast region the opportunity on account of political differences for the sake of national integration and solidarity among ethnic nationalities.

The party should remember the roles played by men and women of the region in Nigeria's independence struggles as well as the fight against third-term agenda of some persons in past.

Therefore, we appeal to the conscience of the leaders of APC to elevate national integration above partisan affiliation for the overall interest of our dear nation.

Signed:

Dr. Yusuf Umaru,
Director of Media and Strategy,
Coalition of Ethnic Nationalities for Better Nigeria.
South East doesn't votes for APC naa fake they will soon rebuke.

gidgiddy:
So they called Lagos "No mans Land"? Everyone has freedom of speech, you are free to call their land the same

The constitution of Nigeria accords every Nigerian the right to reside anywhere in Nigeria, and exercise all legal rights as if he were an indigene of the area

As an Igbo man, you dont have more rights than me in Lagos or any part of Nigeria

I cannot be a 'visitor', 'guest' or 'migrant' in my own country. You cannot accomodate me in my own country.

You cannot deny me the right to vote for the candidate of my choice in Lagos or any part of Nigeria, or to run for any office of my choosing, anywhere in Nigeria

However, if you say Im a visitor in my own country, if you say Im a migrant in my own country and claim to be "accomodating" me in my country.............

Then it is not my country. Grant me a referendum so I can go my way, create my own seperate country so that next time you see me in your land, and you call me visitor, migrant, claim to be accommodating me and deny me the right to vote or be voted for, you will be right

You cannot choose which version of "one Nigeria" you want to practice, we are either one, or we are not
How many Nigeria tribes can you count living in your region as if you're accommodating, the past concluded election did you see any outsiders apart from your people.

If you want Biafra referendum you can relocate back to your region and don't wasting your time on government.

Tinubu is from Iragbiji in Osun state , Governor Sanwo Olu is from Ondo state.

This men holding Lagos to Ransome are not even true indigine of Lagos and they are telling a true son of Lagos , Gbadebo rhodes vivour that is a Lagos blood that he won't be governor of Lagos .

Why will Tinubu who is from Osun state and Sanwo Olu who is from Ondo state be telling Gbadebo who's true Lagos blood that he will not be allowed to be governor in his father's home soil?

My fellow Lagosians, it is time for us to kick Tinubu and his stooge sanwo Olu who both aren't true Lagos blood back to there Original states of origin . Lagos belongs to true indigine of Lagos and not to Osun and Ondo migrants.

Vote Gbadebo of the Labour Party for Governor of Lagos State in next week governorship election.
You're stupid Tinubu mother and father were Yoruba, whether Kwara, kogi, ekiti, osun or Lagos belong to Yoruba people not immigrants born in Lagos.
