Well, only people who get up and just do it earn XXXX monthly from kindle. Maybe you dont know anybody who did. When you have about 200 ebooks on kindle and you are not making XXXX, then we can start saying something is wrong somewhere. Opinions are not facts my friend. Business decisions should be made on facts not opinions.

Ask mk82 about the car he bought with kindle money. As at then i dont believe he had up to 50 books on kindle, but he researched properly. When I say 200 books, i mean books that get the odd download a day, not those in super trending niches. If you have been reading this thread, you will find that you only wait 60 days once, after that your payment is due monthly.

Get quick rich, no patience to wait for your seed to grow and yield is really stopping a lot of Nigerian youths from reaching their potentials. You ask "how many Nigerians make $500 consistently monthly". You should be asking:

How many Nigerians recognize kindle as a business opportunity?
How many Nigerians are patient enough to churn out books even when sales are nothing but pittance at the start?
How many Nigerians have over 200 books on Kindle?
How many Nigerians can keep going after sweating it out, publishing ten books and yet they are not wildly successful?
How many Nigerians read like one hour a day on how to be better at kindle publishing?
How many reinvest their earnings into a system that will churn out more books than they can themselves monthly?
How many develop a business out of it?

Kindle is a game of numbers, patience and hard work. I'd take it any day!

P.S: 200 Books that sell ONLY 10 each a month at 2.99 dollars will give 5980 dollars (including tax).

Is that not XXXX? The next thing you will say is how will a human being write 200 books. Where there is a will, there is a way. Some people have thousands of books on kindle. I'd rather do this than push paper for somebody else for a living. I love the fact that you get about this figure every month after doing the work just once. Residual income. I do believe, The exact correlation of your stats at any one point in time is available data, thus with the information provided so is your account.(I think this is how it works). You understand? One more thing. I dont think you should increase the price just yet, maybe when you get a few reviews. You may be a doctor but you are still unknown unless this is a follow up part of a series which i doubt.

Its just my humble opinion. Sales will come in faster when its 99c, hopefully reviews too, then you become real authority and increase price.

Since reviews are gold in this business, then reduce your price to get more. Some say you get one review per 100 downloads or sales, some say 1000. You do agree those sales will come in faster when the price is reduced (for an unknown author). That would also mean the review would come in faster. Dont be bothered about how much you are making this period, plan for the long term. Get the reviews then increase the price. Once again Bro, Just my opinion. Do some research and make your decision.

Great job my friend. Just thought to make some observations. The cover is quite okay. I dont think you should write your name in all caps but it doesnt matter. To lots of people, using caps through out is bad etiquette and considered shouting but if other people have been doing it in the kindle store or in your niche, maybe its just me being a product of my meticulous boss. It just doesnt look right in my eyes.

Also, i dont know o but you started your first line with "teens", the child in your picture is not a teen. At least start with children first before moving on to talking about teens. This is so it relates to your cover which is the main reason people would be interested in reading your description.

I also think it is way too short. Kindle is now competitive and if another book is longer than yours and is priced same price, lower or even higher, people may buy it more than yours. Its quality information that matters to them and they would usually go for more as opposed to less especially when the price difference is not much. If this is the standard length of books in your niche then disregard.

Did you do keyword research? I like your writing style. I wish you luck.

Wait o... dont you think you should use the picture of an obese child instead? Look for a model's pic or free stock photos or something. No one would want to see their child's pic being used as the poster child for obesity. You could also use a zoomed in picture of a body part of an obese child. Maybe a wrist? I dont know, just suggesting, it might or might not look good.

Use "new" eyes, look at your description again. If you had an obese child, and you needed information to help you manage it, would YOU buy YOUR book? I'm not saying your description is not good o. I'm just giving an advice i read online recently. Be honest. Do you sound like you (the writer) knows what you are talking about? Think of yourself (the buyer) as a stingy person (na example o). Okay, lets say thrifty person. Who does not want to spend a dollar more than you need to, would YOU buy YOUR book. Does it promise enough to be worthy of the investment? Its just an advice i want to share. If you think its okay, then leave it, if not change whatever you think you should.


Remember, feedback from fellow kindle authors can be pure gold and can double or even triple your ROI if you just use it constructively.

I won't say it is scam or not but one thing I believe about this mlm of a thing is that you are putting yourself at the mercy of those "oga at the top". They might wake up one morning and decide to fold up the business. What then happens to you?

If you are making anything close to 200k monthly on mlm then this is my advice to you: why not create your own business system where you will be in total control? I bet you, if you can make up to 200k from mlm, with half of the effort, you will be making a killing from your own business.

I mean I don't believe in building another man's wealth just because I earn commissions, I'll rather use the efforts for my own business and get all the profits to myself. Just my 1 cent

Most top earners I know receive and invest otheir "commissions". For them its in millions of naira. .. Check this: you have only 24 hours in a day but if you have 100 people on your team, you leverage on 100X24 hours= 2400. Okay, let's say they only work 8 hours a day that's still you leveraging 800hours daily. How long would it take you to give that 800 hours to your business sand earn from it? By then they would have given thousands of hours. They also have people under them they leverage from. Are you employed? Then you must know your employer us leveraging on you. If you have 10 employees and they work 8 hours a day then the owner is gaining 80hours worth of work per day he or she would not ordinarily be able to produce in a day. So my friend, 100 percent of your effort is nothing compared to the small percentage of 100 peoples efforts. Get rid of that ideology now sir. Cheers

Do you know that even spare parts dealers and patent medicine sellers have to go through tutelage/ training before they can be successful? Another problem is that Massive numbers of Nigerians want the money without working hard. They are also not focused. They do one mlm business for a few months to a couple of years without 1. learning about the business, 2, taking it seriously and REALLY DOING THE BIZ, 3 being consistent 4. Using the products themselves.5 regularly attending the trainings that are needed to empower them with knowledge and skills. When another new network comes to town they gullibly follow and start the same cycle of mediocre activity and they expect exceptional income not realising that its in EVERY network that you have to PUSH to be sucessful!!! No one evry climbed mount Everest by strolling around!!!
I have been a network in Nigeria for 4 years and although Im looking forward to greater incomes soon, I have CONSISTENTLY 95% of the time earned 6 figure incomes every month from a few months into the business - more than some people earn that clock into some jobs 8 -5pm daily through rain and shine along with insults from their bossess etc.
