rheether: Are you that poor? Go for a known brand and stop patronizing sub standard goods. What does been poor have to do with the purchase of a blender, he buys what he can afford at present, I know you are rich but fingers are not equal. Your remark about his status is highly offensive and grossly uncalled for. That young man deserves an honest apology from you, do that and you will see how free your mind will be. |
Family › Re: How Did You Cope When You Had A Failed Relationship? by taiwoti(m): 9:28pm On Feb 21, 2016 |
Marxxx: I can't express how I feel right now. Early this month my friend and I ended our relationship that started aeons ago. Although I made efforts to salvage the relationship but it didn't work and we resolved to go our separate ways
For the past two weeks I have not been thinking straight. I do things and then I will ask myself did I just do/say this. Last week I made an error in one of my reporting and that would have landed me a grade 1 query. When by boss alerted me about the mistake, I tendered a resignation letter instead of getting a query but he refused to accept the letter and advised me to take a week leave. I guess it's obvious that I am out of shape.
My decisions are clouded I mean I can't think anything for sure. Even when am correct I doubt and my feeding habit is deteriorating.
I enjoy being alone but now I am beginning to feel lonely. I mean I use to stay for months without my ex and I don't feel it but now I don't know why.
And I discovered recently that I am acting weird like I am now "Vulnerable" I mean...ok let me explain....The lady prepares food for me is from an agency and last week she brought food and I was "staring" at her and she stared back at me too smiling. This is someone that I had not noticed for a year. I had to contact the agency that I will be travelling so they shouldn't expect my order till next month. And now I realise my account officer at the bank has dimples. I have been acting unlike me lately.
I have contacted a psychologist and he is saying these feelings are normal then I asked him if he had being in a long relationship that ended abruptly and he said No. Although we are still communicating but I want to hear from someone with experience.
Pls I need an advice from someone who have had similar experience. How did you cope? And I want to ask again are these feelings normal? What do I need to do to get back on my feet quickly because I don't want to resume work in this state?
I have visited new places like my psychologist advised although meeting people and initiating a conversation is hard but I am bending....is there anything else I can do?
I will appreciate ur advice I have read all your post about the said lady, but I will say something to you Mr Marxxx, I know you are a smart dude, but from experience even a smart person can be totally foolish when it comes to emotional situations, you are too stiff and drawn back towards reality, maybe its because of your job or the people you hang out with. This young lady in question is a rare gem that can stay with you during your worst state, and let me remind you that a GOLD is always ugly at first, but it takes patience to hit, smash, and beaten into something precious. That said, my advise for you is to be patient and not to run into any hasty relationship just to fill her void. Cultivate the habit to hang around with friends, create time for comedy shows or watch enough comedy on Youtube. And lastly pray and pray for God's guidance, it seems to me you are trying to work everything out with your strength and its obvious its weighing you down brother. Seek God. |
Celebrities › Re: Peter Adeosun: I Don't Like The Olajumoke, The Bread Seller Turned Model's Story by taiwoti(m): 5:11pm On Feb 20, 2016 |
The Olajumoke story can be simply attributed to the work of God, she was simply obeying what the bible says about faith and hard work, Olajumoke exercised her faith by hawking bread daily in the hope that providence and grace will smile on her, and fortunately it did because she was hard working, assuming she was the lazy type she wouldn't have come all the way from Osun State to seek an opportunity for a good live in Lagos, she took the step of faith and boom her success. The moral of the story is she wasn't idle when the God factor came into play, she was WORKING. Folks tell me there is no God factor in this story and I will show you how gullible you are. |

YourMain: Sigh. Do you even know what a hymen is ? Virginity by presence or absence of an hymen is the most ridiculous thing in the world.
You do realise it's possible to have a hymen completely intact even if you've had sex. The hymen isn't a big piece of tissue just covering the entry of the vagina.
Virginity by definition is the state of never having sexual intercourse. If you've had sexual intercourse, you're not a virgin. Finish. I doff my hat for you, you just made my day with the sophistication of your intelligence. |

Getting a car comes along with expenses he can't afford. Think with your eyes if your head is currently scrambled dude This guy talks as if he's an epitome of wisdom, circumference with the truth and facts needed to guide an average man, i know the fire is burning in you and you remind me of someone close to me, but bros you need to calm down and oil your clandestine ego with been less judgemental in someone else's situation which i believe you are not furnished with the whole fact, everybody has a reason for acting the way they do, and if you are patient enough you might see an atom of sense in their decisions. Well i won't be surprised if you come for me with that anger in you, because it seems evident in your ways. |

'Olosho' is still better but your mother-in-law...chai!!! That's out of boundary... the man deserves it. I don't want to blame the wife cos she might have been passing through hell before she could take that decision of pouring hot water on him. Some women and suffering in silence in marriage cos they are always at the receiving end. Next time sir, you will know how to control your 'konji'. Why didn't she pour the same hot water on dat randy LovePeddler she calls her mother, she should rot in jail, the rate of domestic violence on men nowadays is becoming so alarming, may God help us. |

Celebrities › Why Is Asa's Song Not Getting Her Huge Endorsements In Nigeria. by taiwoti(op): 10:53am On Oct 22, 2015 |
This tread is not to undermine a hard working multi talented Nigerian singer, but just an observation I have concerning her beautiful career over the years and to mention am a BIG fan of hers.
What baffles me about ASA as a singer is her ability to click major endorsement deals in Nigeria, despite her growing global appeal she has not really snagged any deal that is worth mentioning compared to her colleagues, does it mean she's not a huge commercial success amongst her fans which will ultimately spark multinational companies to engage her,or does it mean she's more focused on reaching out to her foreign based fans or her songs is just not attracting enough attention for commercial purpose. Irrespective of all this she's still a force to be reckoned with when it comes to the entertainment industry in Nigeria and Africa. I just feel all this questions are begging for answers because ASA'S songs are top notch any time any day compared to what some glorified A list artist are churning out every day in the name of songs in Nigeria. |

Am so amused at what some ladies are spitting out as regards height, its so obvious most of them are even below th 5:1 height and they keep saying they can't date a short guy, what double standard, if you know you are short as a lady don't ever come here and start praying for a tall guy, stick to your size abeg and keep producing midgets, and as for the gentle man u will surely see a wonderful shawrty dat will be worth it. Cheers. |

Olayinka8793: noted bro,I have thought about faking an illness or just a headache to visit my aunt shop for prescription but I hardly have an idea of whether my aunt will be in shop or not,so I backed off. The few time I really need drugs and visit her shop, she was always present. Why not tell your twin sister to start a good friendship with the girl and trust me your sister will do a very good job and when next you talk to the girl, you might be surprised she will meet you half way. But first you have to tackle the root cause of the problem by seeking excellent medical solution to your hearing challenge and try hard to focus on your salon business which I believe with hard work both of you can eventually start an empire with one day. |
