[quote author=klevjey post=35075670]I bank with Access Bank. I was having N153, 265.00. I withdrew N5,000.00 last week Monday. On Friday last week, I went to the branch at Iyana Ipaja to pay back the N5,000, only for me to receive an alert that my balance is N151,265.00. I went to the bank and requested for my statement of account which was printed out. On the statement, I found out that N2,000 was withdrawn on the Tuesday of that week. I quickly told them I wasn't the one and they told me it must have been done by someone whom I usually send to withdraw in my stead. They ruled out fraud claiming that if it were to be fraud, the person would have wipped my account clean. Funny enough, my ATM card was with me throughout, and I didn't even receive any SMS alerting me of the debit that day. We have been arguing since in the bank. I know this is an internal job from the bank. Please guys, how do I go about this? I want them to know they don't just go around messing with people's money simply because they are 'common man'. Please forward a mail or a letter to the Consumer Protection Department of CBN, stating your grievances with your statement of account of the said period, I promise you that within 3 days the said bank will refund your money and they will tender an unreserved apology to that effect, trust me. |

It takes a team (Man and Woman) to conquer in a relationship. |
You can be together and grow old together if both of you are willing to work it out. Every relationship has a cycle… In the beginning; you fall in love with your partner. You anticipate their calls, want their touch, and like their idiosyncrasies. Falling in love wasn’t hard. In fact, it was a completely natural and spontaneous experience. You didn’t have to DO anything. That’s why it’s called “falling” in love. People in love sometimes say, “I was swept of my feet.” Picture the expression. It implies that you were just standing there, doing nothing, and then something happened TO YOU. Falling in love is a passive and spontaneous experience. But after a few months or years of being together, the euphoria of love fades. It’s a natural cycle of EVERY relationship. Slowly but surely, phone calls become a bother (if they call at all), touch is not always welcome (when it happens) and your spouse’s idiosyncrasies, instead of being cute, drive you nuts. The symptoms of this stage vary with every relationship, you will notice a dramatic difference between the initial stage when you were in love and a much duller or even angry subsequent stage. At this point, you and/or your partner might start asking, “Am I with the right person?” And as you reflect on the euphoria of the love you once had, you may begin to desire that experience with someone else. This is when relationships breakdown. People blame their partners for their unhappiness and look outside for fulfillment just to start that same circle all again and later realize the former partner was way better than the present one and then some people opt out once more to start that same circle all over with another new person and at this point the world starts looking at you as a clueless no good person who can never be happy with anyone. The key to succeeding in a relationship is not finding the right person, it’s learning to love the person you found. Did you read that last paragraph?please get this once more; The key to succeeding in a relationship is not finding the right person, it’s learning to love the person you found. Loving someone is not by accident, its not a feeling, its a conscious decision by the people involved to be together and weather the storms together and not looking for an easy way out. The storms of lack, incompatibility childlessness, family scuffle, infidelity, bitterness, and many more. Until both of you are willing to make it work, only then will GOD come in to make it happen. Because two people can never work together except they agree. |

It beats me up as to why any of our celebrated media houses and journalist have refused to give us first hand information and account of the fight against terrorism in the north east of this country, and our media is part of the biggest in the continent, the so called big private media that we all depend upon for genuine news seem to all be afraid of there call of duty, making them to depend on international media such as AFP and CNN to get boko haram recordings and tapes. Only God know when a nigerian journalist will be nominated let alone win a pulitzer prize, if this lazy trend flourish amongst them, all they know is to take bribe and print unreasonable head lines about APC and PDP. It seems we have lost it when it comes to quality journalism in this country. |
