for you to work abroad, you must have a work permit.nobody can employ you without a work permit, anybody doing it risk heavy fine or jail. Now even your fellow nigerian cant accomodate you in their house for fear of being implicated and deported. You cant even go to the hospital when sick, its not like Nigeria where you can go to pharmacy and buy drugs yourself without doctors prescription. So you see why most people abroad who tell you not to come if you don't have papers. They are still struggling and dont want to be implicated or deported back.you cant even open a bank account, you cant even transfer money home in your name, you have to live and survive with another persons identity and if you are caught, you end in detention or refugee camps.coming illegally may mean coming thru the desert, you may get kidnapped for ransom, then you have to cross the sea to become a slave in europe and most ladies a prostitute.before you go on your journey, think if you have Gods backing. You may end up in destruction.so if somebody ask you to come in illegally, you are breaking the law of that country and would be treated by the law, if the law says 5 years in jail, then you may be at the mercy of the law.i hope you guys understand me, i am only being sincere, living in nigeria in peace without money can be better living as a slave abroad.

Selfishness? No! Wickedness? Absolutely Not!!

People must remember that truth is bitter, and all that glitters is not gold; and of course not everyone wants to hear or listen to the truth.
There is no doubt that those of us who live in Western countries enjoy stable electricity, running water, good roads and security of life and property; but beyond these, hmmmmmmm ......? I leave this till another time.

Now, why do many of us discourage others from joining us over here? Good question, and here are some of the answers; and I will use the UK (where I live) as example. The UK government have tightened their immigration rules to the point where it's almost impossible for the people they tag as "illegal immigrants" to live here. Examples. It is illegal not only for organisations (public or private) to employ illegal immigrants, but they also impose hefty amounts of money as penalty on any organisation that employs such people. It is also illegal for any landlords to rent out accommodation to illegal immigrants, and anyone caught would get criminal conviction and £10,000 (5,000.000 Naira) fine for every illegal person in their building. The truth is that the majority of our people would fall into the category of "illegal immigrants"; which means they are not allowed to work or rent a room - but note I did not say all.

An important issue to bear in mind is that technology is so advanced over here that it leaves no hiding place for anyone; meaning that you can't hide from the government, because you use electronic cards to travel on public transport; GPS satellite navigation system to drive a car; your driving licence, your mobile phone and bank account are all digitally linked and monitored. There are CCTV cameras with facial recognition technology everywhere on the streets, in shops, and offices and they are linked to the police and other numerous state security agencies. Above all, the agencies are both well-resourced in terms of money and manpower and they are highly organised, dedicated and efficient. Besides, there is a lot of racism going on too. So, if your visa says you have no right to work, (assuming you need to work), then your options are very limited indeed; because you would not be able to bypass the system unless you would not travel on public transport; would not travel in a car/taxi; would not use telephone, or operate a bank account.

Many of you may not be aware, reports indicate that there are over 70,000 Nigerians in immigration detention centres in the UK and they are deporting plane-loads of our country men and women to Nigeria almost every day. The question is: "why would want to risk all your life savings to embark on a journey to a place like this?"

However, there are many legal means to obtain the appropriate visas that would enable you to work and live here and elsewhere without restrictions and I would suggest that everyone should pursue the legal route. For example, you could marry a white man or woman or an African American man or woman; but be honest with them - very, very important. The problem with many of our people is their incredible level of dishonesty. There are tens of millions of white people looking for African men and women to marry, but you have to be sincere and honest with them and be willing to spend the rest of your life with them. So, what are you waiting for? Go online and start your search. Good luck.

same here in Germany, people wont understand life abroad.forget the trash people who come home from abroad tell you.Your life abroad cud be miserable without papers.even people with papers are struggling, talkless of without papers, you cant do anything without necesary papers. You may end up being a slave to even fellow nigerians.Imagine nigerians enslaving fellow nigerians who dont have papers, you work and the money goes to them, you can even work freely on the street. You can be picked up by the police anytime and there is nothing you can do, you dont have the basic human right, somebody can kill you because you dont have any identity. You may end up being a sex slave to a white lady or even to a gay.Its really terrible, you cant even go to the hospital cos you dont have a document.no insurance covering you.Best way is to come in legally, you may come abroad seeing your an uncle who has left nigerian several years back being a modern slave abroad.lol

hmmm, you have a right to do your business, i see you are a human trafficker, do you think those countries consider your job as legal.what is your motive. i think you try to help people who are desperate by collecting money from them to show them how they can get abroad legally or illegally. You may be reposible for the death of generation through what you are doing, God would hold you responsible.Imagine you helping somebody take a very dangerous risk abroad and the person gets there only to be killed or died miserably. You not only killed the person but a generation, you may insult me or curse me, i would tell you the truth.

First UK is not the only country on planet earth.
Secondly i restricted my post to the united states, so trying to stereotype like its only UK people try to migrate to makes no sense.
Thirdly update ur knowledge on UK immigration policies.
Lastly;

hmmm,i have read through some of the post here and these are my opinion.i must say that the person who started this thread started it with a very bad motive of making profit out of the those hungry and eager to travel abroad.i am based abroad and would tell you guys the truth without mincing word. there is nothing bad in coming abroad but remember home is the best, most of this countries are hostile to foriegners. There are challenges abroad and the best way to come abroad is legally.doing the otherwise can be dangerous. Many people come abroad illegally and end up being slaves, most people dont know that you cant work legally abroad without a work permit. The life abroad is very complex, you pay your rent monthly, the house rent is the most expensive thing abroad, coming in illegally means you cant have address and a home of your own.you need to be under somebody who may exploit you,you may be using somebodys paper illegally and you cant even own a bank account, you cant enjoy any previleges in that country.most folk end up doing illegal jobs and some end in jail abroad.some folks end up being slaves to white ladies in the name of getting documents.the second case is that even if you were a graduate in Nigeria, you may find it very difficult to get a job abroad wether you have entry documents or not, this is because as in most country , their citizens are given first treatment before foreigners,a graduate may come abroad and end up washing plates in restaurants and decieve folks in nigeria that he is leaving large abroad.most nigerians abroad are just managing , things are not as what people think in
Nigeria. In nigeria, you can owe rent and still leave in the house, not abroadyou guys wont believe that even people having entry documents, still end up broke abroad lol. forget all those trash that somebody built mighty houses abroad, do you know what they are doing abroad.Brothers and sisters, have you considered what would happen if the exchange rate changes, let say one dollar to one naira.yes some would say its impossible.if it does, life in Nigeriacould be far better than any where in the world, i am not saying anybody should not come but think of the risk, is it the path God laid for you?
PoliticsRe: Plagiarism: Buhari Is Not To Blame! by taiyeayodeji: 8:10pm On Sep 17, 2016
Nigerians could be funny, yeah it is wrong to copy other peoples work without referencing them. Most of us who are crucifying the president may not have come across that speech before now unless one is a verse reader and current. In this case, you dont expect an old Man to know. The responsibility lies on the young people who are his media team to advise him based on the ethics of the profession.Generally in Nigeria, i have seen alot of scholars even Professors, student copy peoples entire work word for word (projects) without referencing. So lets not crucify somebody now.Not everybody was born a natural speech writer .
PoliticsRe: Fayose Hops On A Motorcycle For A Ride To The State Government's House by taiyeayodeji: 11:04am On Jul 08, 2016
Fayose has a game plan, he likes working on the psyche of the people, he does it in a way that people notice him and media carries it.i must say that their are ethics guiding the office of a leader,if he decide to come down to the level of a common man, its no big deal.doing all this show does not indicate that he is being humble.no guilty person shall go free,God punish anybody way steal the money of the masses (APC or PDP)
PoliticsRe: Court Dismisses Fani-kayode’s Suit Challenging His Detention by taiyeayodeji: 6:44pm On Jun 29, 2016
pmb has set the precedence on prosecuting corrupt leaders, now its APC time,it wud teach all those in authority a lesson that when you loot, you can be probed ,SO LET ALL HATERS OF BUHARI JUST PRAY TO GOD THAT PDP ENTERS IN 2019.i see nothing wrong if PDP enters in 2019 and probed all corupt APC leaders.the truth some people dont want to acknowledge is that these people actually looted public fund.i wonder why a foolish poor person would be sentimental about them probing a stinkingly rich and corrupt politicians.i see nairaland divided into two camps.the buhari (apc)fans and the jonathan (pdp) fans.lets just tell ourself the truth and not be sentimental about things.no looter should go unpunished ,APC OR PDP.so let agrieved people just pray to GOD that power should shift in 2019, so APC politicians can be probed lol
FamilyRe: I Am Beginning To Hate My Mother!!! by taiyeayodeji: 7:17pm On Jun 20, 2016
hmmh, you dont have to hate your mum.She is only trying to pass a message to you inorder for you to be strong. They have given you the basic foundation and its now time for you to stand on your own with out their support.Thou its not really easy in the present day Nigeria to start out without any support but i bet you can talkto them, to please help you with a startup fund, even if its for them to borow you.Its not a right but a plea you have to make. You need to go all out to hussle and i bet if they see your determination, they wud support you.Possibly they think you are not ready to be independent.Tough times only make a determined man strong.God is able to support you , His word even says even if a mother forgets her suckling child, he would nt forget you, your walls are engraved on his palm.
CareerRe: Masters Or Stay On Job? by taiyeayodeji: 5:17pm On May 03, 2016
Pursuing a Masters degree is a very good one,its best done when you are young.Opportunities comes and may never come again. If you can get a study leave, its perfect. If not,its may be good for you to go now if you cant wait.Knowing the stuff you are made off, you cant struggle for job after your masters degree, your years of experience still count.Lots of people now have masters degree and a time would come that if you dont have it, u wont be qualified for some positions at work. doing a job is not all about the money but the fulfilment you find in the job, believe in yourself and believe the best is yet to come to you. Some how, i am in a situation like you, having to decide wether to leave my secured job and go abroad for masters. But all in all , i believe the best guide is God who can lead you in the best path to go.
