Where you are wrong is that a school first and foremost supposed to protect the student and either you like it or not the girl is a victim. She may be stupid but she is a victim and as far as we are concerned, she did not break the rules of the school. Sex between adult outside a school is not a crime, is not like she steal or kill someone. A video meant for there eyes that got leaked is a violation of her privacy. And either you like it or not her action have no effect whatsoever on the school.
And how will you compare school institution, a place for teaching and learning to work place that pays you salary. Note: lot of feedback 4 what i said. As people we are entitled to different opinions and we all see things differently, on dis ground all responses both negative and positive. However, to me personally, i believe that there is a way controversy like dat can be handled, because a child is stupid does not mean, d child should be cut off completely, lot of situation like dat had lead to suicide. Trust me, d child might even kill herself. Heard her dad is a pastor and if he is like a typical Nigeria pastor, he would av disowned d child. So which is worse between the 2 cases. Lastly, a bad rep like dis on d skul will die down b4 next week, d skul will still be fine. So whats really d need? Y re we supporting d ultimum punishment for a sin dat can be forgotten in days? She did not hurt anybody apart from herself did she?

I do not believe that clothes (in particular, "pants" wearing) are a "salvational" issue.
After a brief struggle, I personally, discarded my "pants" collection years ago.
The interesting thing was that I never even wore fitted pants...or too-tight pants.
I understand that God's people should dress differently than the world, but I am not quite sure, that threatening the loss of Heaven based on "pants-wearing" is appropriate.

When Christ gets ahold of a person, and they truly understand who he/she belongs to, change will take place...gradually..but eventually.
Not every Christian woman, though, will feel convicted about the "pants-wearing" issue.
So if a Christian woman chooses to continue wearing pants, then they should be fitted appropriately.

i agree with you.people keep saying rubish and don't think.if you write rubish against Donald trump. he has a right to take you to court even thou you have freedom of speech, it does not mean you shud spread fake news about sombody or say something ridiculous about some body. There is a clause under freedom of speech, about defamation of character.its all other world, you have a right in some countries to criticise the government openly, every country is different.in some countries , such open confrontation is not there .Nigerians need to be wise when dealing with politicians, our system is corrupt, when you write rubish and false news.you first suffer under the police and then the court of law decides your matter.so if the court process takes 5 years .you waste 5 years of your life in court. there is freedom of speech but people need to use their brain in a corrupt society

quiet sad.i sympathize with u but you need to start all over again.its not so easy but may God help u.one of the effect of going to prison is most people won't want to associate with u. i think the woman is still your wife legally until there is a divorce in court.there is also a traditional process in some tribes which may include return of bride price you paid.was the lady married legally to u in registry.did u pay bride price?.then you can contact a lawyer.i don't think it's a good idea to force a woman to remain with u.i think you have a right to your child unless they think you may be of bad influence to the child.in such case ,u may not be able to have custody of the child or based on your financial status or mental health .i am not a lawyer but find out from a lawyer.i wish you the best, try to keep away from trouble , life still has good things to offer you

I want justice pls.

I was jailed 4 years ago when i was arrested,tried and sentenced for fraud.

I was not a criminally minded person but do to the economic hardship and how to provide for my wife and daughter I went into fraud.

My wife was supporting our union with her trade which the income was very low and to feed was war.

To cut the long story short when i was in prison she do visit occasionally but during 3 years spent already she stop visiting.

When i was freed last 2 months and to know what ups I went to where we live and learnt from a neighbour that my wife has parked out from our 2 rooms apartment and is now living with a man.

I got the address,went their and lo and behold she was heavily pregnant for the man.

I felt like fainting that moment and to make matter worse she said it to my face that she can't live with an ex convict.

My 5 years old daughter wants me back but my wife and her family are fighting against that.


I still love my wife despite her betrayal but the pregnancy and her refusal to give me back my daughter is giving me problem.

I want justice against the wife snatcher and i want back my wife and daughter.



Please what is the best ways to go about it so as not to go against the law.

what you make out of engineering depends on you.sucess is individual. Some did engineering and were really sucessful and some not so sucessful and some change profession due to no job.i wil advise you to focus mainly on your studies with no distraction. aim for very good grades, big companies only take people with good grades, takes your internship (Siwes) seriously and try to get a good practical experience in a good company .make moat use of your holidays to learn software related to your field and always be update on development in your field. visit sucessful people in your field and learn from them. try also to look for opportunities in your field .try to look at the major companies in your field and see what they want from graduates and put your best in it .Expect the best to happen to you and then you will receive the best, believe in God and then believe you can make it.i studied mechanical engineering and I have been opportune to meet people who studied same in other countries, no much diferent between an engineer in Nigeria and that in another country .the only different is that they have exposures to some facilities which we dont have here in Nigeria.Academically, a good engineering student in Nigeria can compete well with other student abroad when given the opportunity

To start with, I congratulate you on your admission. Basically, education system in this country has been deteriorating with little or no attention from the respective body.

Studying engineering would be one of the best thing that could happen to you if you put in your best. My advise is that you utilize google, YouTube and other online resources to garner useful knowledge for yourself. In school, you will be thought theories, even theories that are outdated. Look up to the scholars in your department, stick with them, they will probably put you on right track.

Learn latest softwares, go for different training, learn programming languages and the likes. If you do all these, I'm sure you will thank me later.

I wish you success as you move to the next phase of life.

I don't think nigerians know what freedom of speech means.Freedom of speech does not mean making unguarded and careless statement.even in advance countries, you can be sued if you make very grievous or spread false news about somebody.i think the first thing any university does in such a case is to invite him to a disciplinary committee and may be required to prove all his allegations.i think the only part wrong in his letter was his insult on the professors.most people on nairaland can't take insult from anybody and most don't see it as as freedom of speech for anybody to write derogatory statement about a tribe or an abuse at oneself.i think we nigerians sometime are hypocrite.we need to know how to pass information without being rude and we need to be sure of everything we write.if the guy has proof , then let him go to court to challenge the Senate. By the way, there is a student union in the school.

he has a right to view his opinion but when you are writing something.u must be able to prove everything you write, he made some derogatory statement at some professors, does he have proof for that.Offcourse our system is corrupt but he made a generalization about some professors.i am sure they must have asked him when invited to the disciplinary committee if he had proof.if he has no evidence for what he wrote, he has to face the music.its good to criticise but you need to do it like an i intelligent writer who cannot be faulted.he insulted some professors in his open letter.honesty that was rude , freedom of speech does not mean not applying wisdom and politeness.However , i think the punishment was harsh.i think one or two semesters suspension would have been better

you are right .not all sport are good for everybody and some people with certain illness can't do some rigourous excercise that involve serious heart beat.possibly a light jogging excercise of short distance on a low speed cud be ok.And most times people with heart problem may be advised to use a heart monitor wrist watch when jogging .it alert them when there is a high heart beat and they need to stop

having a first class or second class only matters in some cases.what really matters is what you do with what you have.its quiet painful when you are denied what you deserved but I think other factors are considered when giving people a first class.attitude and behaviour matters , they examine the student and see if he is if good behaviour .i think the department sit on every result and decide what to do.if there is no one to speak for you or your favour.then it's finished .so you don't necesary need to blame one person.its a departmental decision

all my school mates knew I was a first class student, they expected a first class, I missed out with 0.02 and landed at second class upper, all because I refused to bow down to a useless Nigerian lecturer, so even though it is a second class upper, it hurts knowing it was supposed to be 1st class cos most schools would have augmented it to assist the student and to boost their own school's profile, of what benefit is withholding the 0.02 to themhuh And I am not regretting anything because I did more than what I was supposed to do, I didn't even lived campus life all because of dedication to studies...it is more of anger than regret....anger that one stupid lecturer made me miss it, and waiting for an opportunity to deal with that lecturer or any of his likes in future, call it vengeance, I agree undecided

Most of my course mates blamed me though that I should have just acted like a Roman since I was in Rome, but I am stubborn in such things, I rather lose out than bow to Pharaoh and reason I don't like Buhari too no matter what people say, if Buhari give me an appointment, I will publicly reject it and reject him!!

my dear , you won't blame the people .our system is not organized, our law system and emergency organization don't work.if I see an injured person on the street in Europe. it's not my duty to take the person to hospital.it is the duty of the emergency unit and police.All i need to do is to call an ambulance and in the next 5 minute , the ambulance and police is there.In naija, u can even be in a problem for helping some body. the emergency organization are not functioning, people don't know what to do in such a situation.our people will rather bring out their phone and make videos to upload on social media.Even some good people may try to call the emergency centre. their number may not be functioning or they tell you no fuel in the operation vehicle.the police are not there. that is the situation in Nigeria.God help us .so make we no condemn people. partly not their fault

we shud not blame the doctor until we hear his side.i believe the doctor has a right to decide to attend or not.if his mind his disturb due to the argument he had with the lady.it cud affect his performance. nigerians want fast fast, no patience. there is something called emergency,if a case is not an emergency, the doctor is under no obligation to attend to you immediately. it happens even in Europe,u may even be told you have to get an appointment if the case is seen as not emergency. i assumed the doctor assessed the case and see it as not a life threatening case.i have once taken my child to an hospital in Europe, so much children were sick that weekend and the doctors were overstretched,i waited for 2 hours and cudnt see the doctor. the only thing was the nurse gave the child a pain relieve while we were waiting to see the doctor.at the end, i cudnt wait again because even the sick child got tired of waiting for doctor.we left for home and came back the next day which was a monday and so many doctors were on duty.so let's not blame the doctor,some time women boil when their kids are sick and want fast fast action .lol

our society is decay.corruption is everywhere .even parent would tell daughters to go any length to get admision to univeristy parent bribe their way for children to get admision.people sleep with boss to get promotion. people sleep with company owners to get job.its common and we all know it.its not only in Nigeria .Africa to some extent .the education system in Africa encourage cheating. people wud do any thing inorder to have to repeat a course.repeating a course may mean extra year, poor grade means poor chance in labour market. so its complex system that encourage corruption. we have not talked about lecturers victimising guys .we only focus on ladies

personally as human we are quick to judge people by outward appearance because this is what we see, its normal as human.But God sees more than human see, i may see sombody as a sinner Becks of his attitude and dressing but God may be seeing thesame person in another way.i personally believe it's proper for us to protect our image,this is the one that people judge us with on earth.U can dress anyhow and expect to stand among royalty or a President.U have to change your garment.even the preist have a garment.God pays attention to cleaningness .u can dress dirty and say God is only interested in the heart.U can dress half naked and say its ok.i believe God may overlook something because he still have a plan for some people and may not really see them as sinners because he only see them as prodigal children who can still return to Him

u think say problem no day abroad.the only thing be say the prayer point go change .the topic for the prayers go change.as much as their are challenges in Nigeria, there are challenges abroad took.Alot of white folks are psychologically depressed,as a foreigner in a foreign country , you have various challenges.Things are not as easy as nigerians think .even in some European countries , there are unemployment and you see the youth run away from their country to where they can get job.Even if they put you in some village in Germany, where there is no job, you go prefer to die in Naija than live there.There is absolutely nothing to do there , no job, you only find old people there .In such places , the young people migrate to places where there are jobs.there is problem and challenges everywhere in the world, its is just that the problem is diferent.This Italian people won't tell you that they want only white settlers and not blacks lol
