My colleague wanted to buy an LG Plasma TV so we went to the electronics outlets in Sabo together, he was actually prepared with 100K for the 43 inches as he had been told by someone it is 80K, when we got there we selected the 43 inches and the vendor said 125K last. We actually thought he was kidding, no he wasn't, we told him that this TV is 80K, he said he had the one of 80K, we asked him the difference between them because they look so much the same, he said the one of 80K is the one people usually buy and it sells far more than the one of 125K, he said the product is not real LG, gaskiya I was shocked because the display and everything is perfect, he said original LG 32 inches is even 85K, you can imagine. My colleague eventually didn't buy anything, he's considering shopping online but he has also been a victim of poor quality and expensive wrist watch he shopped online. It is so frustrating, it's difficult to find real and original products in Nigeria, it should not be and it should be criminalized and should be banned by law. I keep wondering, why do we have this thing rampant, Is it that there's no law that punishes piracy?
