If not then there is a cadre/position consideration as you said already.
Considering whether GT or EH or position applied for is liken to bank hidden charges. Those are the small small properties of a recruitment process.
Whether everybody in Rivers state is GT or EH does not render a recruitment process null and void. That permutation is done within the recruiting agency.

What am telling u is FCC standard that must be met before a recruitment is termed valid.

But in all, every ingredient needed to prepare a balanced process would be considered.

(You might cook food without onion and nothing happens but u can't cook food without fire (heat). I hope this is clear enough.)

A mechanical engineer might score 90% from a state A and another mechanical engineer scores 60% from another state B.
That doesn't mean that the person in state A knows mechanical engineering more than the person in state B. This is just recruitment score.

So the person with 60% in state B can be recruited for a mechanical engineer position leaving the other one with 90% from state A due to the availability of slots in the two states.

For each establishment, there's what is called Compliance Distribution Index domiciled in FCC. Its an analysis that shows distribution amongst all federating units in that MDA.

Before slots are distributed, this CDI would be checked to see which state or zone to allocate which number of slots.

That's y in some recruitments you might see a particular zone having more candidates than other zones

No specific department or position for any state. Anybody can be recruited from any state. But while selecting, consideration is given to which position to select.

Disclaimer: pls this scores per state doesn't mean real life situation. Only for this example.

If 10 applicants scored 90% each from Ogun state
15 applicants scored between 70-90% from kogi
5 applicants scored 60% max from abia
12 scored between 60-90% from Rivers

The best 5 from Ogun would be selected (best would be determined with other factors like class of degree, experience, etc)

The best 3 from kogi would be selected

All the 5 from abia would be selected remaining 3 to complete their slot. The 3 would be picked from any other state in the south east.

All the 12 from rivers would be selected and the remaining 1 would be picked from any other state from the south south

Note: an applicants with less than 60% won't be selected instead it would be sorted from other states in the same zone to cover the slot.

The slots being sorted from other states in the same zone to complete the slot for a particular state is just to complete the zonal allocation for that establishment. That is, if 3 applicants were selected from Bayelsa to cover Rivers slot, it means Bayelsa would have exceeded its limit but the zone would still be within limit.

See zonal limits
7 states zone - 11-15%
6 states zone - 15-18%
5 States zone- 18-22%

From our example of FIRS and 1000 staff.
If Ogun state has 30 staff already, Rivers has 18, Abia has 26, Kogi has 35 etc and FIRS wants to recruit (assuming they are recruiting 100 new staff),
The first step would be to give
Rivers between 7-12 slots
Abia between 1-4 slots
Kogi would have 0 slots first
Ogun not get any slot yet.

If after sharing to all other states and they still have some more slots, then,

Ogun would additionally get between 1-5 slots
Kogi between 1-3 slots
Abia between 1-4 slots
And Rivers between 1-4 slots
Etc.

So in this kind of recruitment,
Ogun would have between 1-5 slots
Kogi would have between 1-3 slots
Abia would have between 2-8 slots
Rivers would have between 7-16 slots

Am talking about average score, not aptitude test or interview score. 60% is the officially agreed cut off for MDAs.

Secondly, every state of the federation has a percentage between 2.5%-3.0% representative in any federal establishment and FCT has 1% representative.
That is, take FIRS for instance, each state must have a lower limit of 2.5% and upper limit of 3.0% staff out of the total no of staff in FIRS and FCT would have 1%.

Example if firs has a total 1000 staff, Ogun state must have between 25-30 staff and FCT must have 10 staff in FIRS.

Pls, I would make this explanation bit by bit so that we can understand better.

First, the cut off point for any federal establishment is 60% across board. No different cutoff points for different states.

If we have observations or objections abt cutoff points we can bring them before I proceed to other segments.

If no observation or objections, then we move on

Mind u, this information am giving u might not be useful in this DPR recruitment because its ended already so don't start permutations if u would be picked or not. It would just give u knowledge on how recruitments works in the FGN in case of next time

For those people trying to guess how merit list can be drawn, one day I would explain to us how FCC works and how placements are made.
Mind u, scoring 70% or 80% or even 90% in average cannot Even guarantee you placement. So many factors are considered.

Pls Marvel64, can we just focus on your other information about analysing aptitude test and interview brouhaha(if that would change anything now) and forget about the fact that CoC has been issued and 400 APLs are still being type for more than 3 weeks now (I wonder if its only one staff that's typing the APLs).

FCC has NOT issued CoC as at today Sunday 17th June, 2018. Take this statement to Zenith Bank and you would withdraw money (I hope this is clear).

Good morning guys,

Firstly, I never said everyone that did their interview in the 2nd week will hardly make it. I emphasised only on the candidates with strong connection (test absentees and those with low test scores) just only a few them will be considered. Many of them that were promised the job will be disappointed.

Ferguson was right about the June 10, the names had returned to DPR on the last week of May for preparation of the APLs. I repeat FCC has nothing to do with this. The APLs were the reason for the delay.

It took them a week (18-25, May) to work on the portals of the few successful candidates that had the glitch. This shouldn’t be a problem.

Let’s take a trip down memory lane, Mr Tata was expected to resume on the 15th Jan, 2018 from leave but was absent for over 2weeks (15th -26) after which the OND candidates were contacted on the 29th, Jan to pick up their APLs. The question is “where was Mr Tata?”.
Now back to the present, The Minister of State for Petroleum resources during his visit at DPR instructed them to conclude the recruitment before the end of May. Suddenly, Mr Tata disappeared from the office for 2 weeks using the same tact. I’m sure some of us can guess where he was. Within the period of his absence from office, few portals that had issues were resolved, the list was approved and sent back to HQ for APLs to be prepared.

Let me explain what I meant by obtaining 70% score in the interview. If you made it to the interview on merit, it means one may have scored above 70% in the test. Therefore, your average score can’t be less than a 70%. Federal Character was also a factor, let’s not forget that.
I know some people here have already known their fate. Kindly contact your source @ the HQ to check your name on the final list.

Let’s wait for the emails and sms to roll out this month.
Referencing the bolded above, it may interest you to know that Mr Tata (If he's DD Corporate Services) was in NNPC building (Ministry of Petroleum) on Tuesday last week before the list was sent to FCC on Wednesday. Although he was out of the country for a while(about 2 weeks) due to pressure.

1. Some persons made it to the interview without sitting for the aptitude test including those that performed poorly. This was just to fulfil all righteousness to ease pressure. These persons attended the interview in the second week of December, 2017. However, most of them will not get the job.

2. 300+ made it on merit. 400 successful out of 3000+ candidates. 70% score in the interview will guarantee you the job. Federal Character was applied.

3. FCC approved the list and COC was issued; typing of APLs and posting letters commenced 3weeks ago. For those saying the list is with FCC, its either you are not telling the truth or your source refused to disclose this info.

4. Email, SMS will be used to contact successful candidates and Portals will be updated to provide further details regarding pick up of APLs.

5. Some people were called and asked to provide some documents that were missing on their portals in the month of May. Remember the Friday of the third week of May when the portal wasn't accessible and displaying an error message was when such update was done.

6. We will be contacted this month.

7. No one has been issued APL. Ignore such rumour.

8. This is the most transparent recruitment process. Most people with strong connections will be disappointed. The sons and daughters of the common man will make it on merit, thanks to Mr Tata. He deserves an accolade for this.

Lastly, Prayer is Key.
I don't know where you got your information from but on good authority, No. 3 is not correct. The list got to FCC on Wednesday last week. Its with the Chairman and tagged "top secret". Nobody is permitted to see it until deliberations starts. This week is considered" Salah week" so most top management staff would have travelled. Expect considerations by next week when work fully resumes. This brief lecture is just to let you know that CoC has NOT (in capital letters) been issued. I can't tell for all other points stated by you but for CoC, has hasn't been issued.

DPR followed all laid down principles from FCC in this recruitment and at every stage, they were in constant communication with FCC. The Certificate of Compliance can be issued within 24 hours.

For most of you that’s being pessimistic abt the June 10 so as to shame me or anybody, what’s yur gain in life? Isn’t it even good that we stop posting what we hear here and wait till it happens so that haters won’t have anything to say abt us. The same reason why Tamihawt and smartgrid left here. If a prediction doesn’t come to pass, it doesn’t mean the speculator is lying. A lot of people don’t know the magnitude of this DPR job. Things change fast and very quick, that’s why I say we shd pray always.

My brother don't be discouraged by whatever negative comments you get here. You are on track. The pace at which things are going, your date is 90% sure. But even if it passes due to whatever reason, June would not pass.

Sometimes it marvels me the way some people drop information here with all amount of certainty as if they r the ones in charge of posting. Nassarawa commissioner's tenor in FCC elapsed and it was transferred to the Lagos commissioner who in turn has also left yesterday because his tenor has elapsed too. By this week, a new commissioner would be assigned to Oil n gas committee who would then handle DPR matter. Mind u, its not any issue of one day.

DPR list might not be released this month. So many underground factors delaying it. Can't begin to list them here because they r highly political factors. But be rest assured, no private APL has been released yet as at today (take this to the bank). I can't say for tomorrow but for today, nothing of such. Approximately 80-90% would be on merit.

You should also know that if not for top politicians, the DPR team won't have any reason to fly to Abuja. I'm not doubting smatgrid's info but believe me, the merit line is slim. You can not dump anybody from Abba kyari's (presidency) list to say he/she didn't perform well. Except you don't want the recruitment to hold. The DPR team can say anything to an outsider to keep his cool about the whole thing. The young lad that was presumed to be rejected due to poor performance I believe is either the name came in late or the politician that brought the name is not really a top man. My brother, you won't understand until the APLs begins to roll out. It would shock u. FYI, even the candidates with "top connections" (according to you), were told to make sure they score high during the interviews. If u know any, pls confirm this information.

First of all if the list comes out it is only going to FCC not NASS or minister as some people stated here. FCC is the main character in this selection and their candidates are probably the luckiest because obviously there probably won't be a certificate of compliance if they don't pick their main candidates. Once the certificate of compliance for the list is given any query from any stakeholder e.g minister is going to be with FCC and not DPR so the only people to please is FCC.
Secondly, the only list already drawn and APL even already being typed is OND people. That is probably the list most people here that gave info heard of. They will be called very soon if some haven't even started hearing from them already.
Please stay calm. When the BSC holders list is drawn is not what is important..i mean they can draw up list today and they don't call us for another month so either way we will still wait till we are called abi.. let's keep hoping for the best. I know it won't be a long wait anymore. Will post if and when i get any relevant info.
100% correct. Also, I would add that at the moment, the list has not gotten to FCC am sure of that.

They are through with selections, the list is no longer with DPR, at the moment the list is going through FCC-NASS-MPR and back to DPR for approval.

Now all these don't really matter, what matters here mostly is that, they don't tamper with the list as it goes through these offices, trust me what goes out is not what comes back in, and dpr dare not query it.. It is one thing to be shortlisted on merit by dpr and another thing to be successful/favored at the end. I guess this is where intense prayer is needed cos this is neither apt test nor interview stage where individual ability is required, this is that stage or phase where the powers that be, or the principalities and powers operates..

This is the first time I'll be commenting on this thread since 2016. I've read genuine updates and several fake ones, however this is the state of the recruitment.

1. The names have not been sent to FCC.
2. Aptitude test scores and interview scores have been compiled but sorting is still in progress.
3. This recruitment will favour candidates that did well (Merit)
4. The aggregate of the appitutde and interview scores will sum up your final score and will determine if you're fit for dpr or not.
5. During the interview, the interviewers made remarks and they have specified if you are fit for dpr or not.
6. The interviewers smiled at everyone, so don't think their nice gestures is a ticket to dpr, they have studied you and have written down their observations (the comments are also determinants)
7. I'll advise you to stop taking drugs etc for now (Medical test is another way to drop applicants)
8. Total number interviewed was around 3,800
9. Some applicants will low appitutde scores were also called for interview
10. Letters will roll in before march
11. Pray, Just pray and hope.
