I did business with Ogojohn once and I can attest to his integrity. The Eurostar dish is 1.1 meter dish and it can also do similar work of 1.2 meter. I bought same from him in the days of MBC movies @ Eutelsat 7 west nwa beam and I was able to track the bird in less than 5 minutes. I still use it for MBC prosports. So you guys should settle amicably

I doubt whether 1.2m can get. Yahsat in South south cos it's a mena beam

@Omoakin5. Yes.Make Arabsat 5A lnb the primary and place that of Arabsat 5C (Irib) to right of it.

It will be difficult in practical. Because is not easy to track as primary, talk more of making it. secondary

Tie a red cloth on your decorder and dip it into hot water 7 times. All the channels will show

You have to help yourself. change your lnb skew to get the highest signal. mind you that it is natural for Satellite TV channels to crack during stormy weathers. If you're using 1.8 meter dish, use a nail to drill a hole on the base where rain settles to be draining the water, so that it will show when it rains.

Mpeg 2 is becoming useless as long as satellite TV is concerned. Go get yourself Mpeg4/HD decoder. There are MBC movies HD on badr 5 but they are all scrambled

We are talking about Aljazeera/Irib on Arabsat 5c 20e and MBC movies on Eutelsat 21B ku. Both satellites are tracked together using a single C/Ku band lnb

ify4king: The signal strength of d aljazera must be up to 80% for MBC channels to pop up

The highest Aljazeera tp can get in Benin City is 68% on 1.8 meters. That means up to 2.4 meters is needed to get Eutelsat 21B here.

I bought C/Ku lnb. My aim was to track arabsat 5c & eutelsat 21B (MBC Movies) with 1.8 meters at Benin city. It was a futile effort as MBC refuse to pop up. The strong C/ku band couldn't get Irib either but it got Aljazeera channels
