I dont think so. Mobil is synthetic while milemaster is semi synthetic. Why would you compare them in the 1st place?

Those who experienced tapping noise from use of milemaster may have had the problem before the switch which the new lighter oil would would have made the sound more pronounced.

MileMaster Rep in Nigeria is based in Yaba, Lagos. I have also spoken with him. Their wholesale prices to their dealers has never changed. The only dealer that has maintained the N6000 RRP is one guy in Ikeja. All other dealers sell above that price. Konga has only aligned its prices back to where they started from.

I remember they started selling for N6100 when it came out. It moved to N7100 when konga started charging 15% commission and now has moved to the present price because konga now charges less than 5% commission. Their prices on jumia are higher. I learnt jumia charges 20% commission.

Please has anyone in the house used Milemaster engine oil 5w-30? I want to start using it as from my next service schedule. kindly advice me if it was ok especially if you bought it from konga or any authorised dealer in Nigeria. If you are a marketer of this oil and you haven't used it in your car, pls do not comment. pls follow this pattern.
1) Are you a user or marketer or both?
2) How long have you been using milemaster?
3) What type of oil filter do you use and how much is it?
4) How many kilometres do you drive before you service your car again?

In my opinion its not much of a difference. You'll gain some height. But the width of the tyre and its radius will be same.

The width would not cause a problem it would even give you better grip on the road. Speed reading would remain the same.

Try and fit 1 wheel first before you swap the 4, some times the tyres touch the suspension which could be dangerous, if there is enough clearance you are safe.

anneki: Konga has reduced what it charges as commission. So sellers / vendors have adjusted their prices accordingly. I also noticed that konga now delivers for N500 within Lagos and N1000 outside Lagos.

I just noticed that MileMaster Oils are now being sold for N6000 on Konga.

Seems nearly all their service packs have also been adjusted price wise.
