The city has the best secondary school in the history of Cowbell Mathematics Competition for Senior Secondary School(Iganmonde Grammar school) won Cowbell mathematics at its debut in 2001, then completing a hat-trick for 3 straight consecutive years 2011,2012 and 2013. Proudly an Iganmonde student as i also attended that school between jss1 to jss3
4. Ado-odo/Ota houses the largest church auditorium in the world (Winners chapel) with an internal capacity of 50000.
5. Ado-odo/Ota is the city where Obasanjo Farms is located
6. It is a city that borders Lagos state through various axis such as Ajegunle/tollgate axis, ijaye/ijoko axis, igbesa/igando axis, agbara/badagry expressway axis, Ado/badagry axis, itele/Ayobo axis
7. The city was where Nairaland owner Seun Osewa grew up as a kid and i guess he still leaves there.

as a grad of Lasu and celebrating this coming convocation let me tell you the reasons why the First class students are low in number.
1. we run a very short session. I can remember my last session which was last year 2014 we started session mid July and I finished my final exams 22nd december

2. We offer too much irrelevant courses as compulsory. Tell me how UNILAG students won't come out with first class in bulk they offer 5-6 courses per semester we offer 9-10 per semester except for 400l where I did 7 and 8 courses for both semesters

3.We have saddists as lecturers

so many reasons but am tired of typing am just happy with my second class upper
