thunder74: Those of you that removed GEJ, how far have we moved with our Electoral processes?
The script is to cause violence in the Governor's base to make INEC cancel the election. This will happen in all places where PDP is strong. Though Buhari is a mistake but I'll rather not vote than vote Jonathan again, there are other parties aside from apc and PDP |

Douglaufuoma: tell yourself d true what was d living condition during PDP, was life dis difficult. we have freedom of speech and freedom after speech, we can protest freely, we can call out leaders name with any threat, even make comedy with them. let's not compare PDP with APC, the difference are clear We wouldn't be in this condition if pdp did not mess up in d first place, Buhari contested 4 times and he failed but when people realised that pdp had nothing to offer, they decided to try Buhari but unfortunately, that one too na another mistake |

Politics › Re: Nigerian Co-Owned FINTECH, Esusu Raises $2.3 Million in fundings in USA by tamdun: 3:01pm On Sep 16, 2020 |
nisai: No sir. Esusu is a Yoruba words. It is different from ajo. When certain members agree to give a certain amount to single person from them in a period of time and he also return the gesture until it goes round, it is called esusu. This is why Yoruba will say ---- ak'esu mada. But when you only deposits inside your safe, or to a thrift collector and only retrieve exactly your amount from baba alajo when it's due, then it is called ajo.
Hope u get me sir. I do, thanks a lot |

Politics › Re: Nigerian Co-Owned FINTECH, Esusu Raises $2.3 Million in fundings in USA by tamdun: 11:12am On Sep 16, 2020 |
delpee: Esusu is the Yoruba traditional banking/cooperative thrift/insurance system which has been of great assistance to a lot of people in the lower and middle class cadres. It's usually done between a group of people who know themselves. I hope this modern version works in Nigeria. Lower cost of funds for the poor plus good financial planning.
The only disadvantage is that there may be defaulters along the line. That happens in regular banking too anyway.
Kudos to the guys. I think esusu is Igbo, in Yorubaland we call it ajo |

Ask the people of Katsina, Zamfara, Sokoto, Birnin Gwari ( still in Kaduna State) Kagara in Niger State. Let’s work together to restore security in our country. Killers are enemies to all. They understand what's going on, they just want to play the religion card, majority of the casualties in North are muslims |

motherlode: The people of Okun never migrated from Kwara... Historical account has it that they migrated from Ile Ife. Nobody is bringing Kwara into anything as you referred, i am only stating the obvious fact which is that the okun people need all the help they can get to be successfully ceded to the south west else, nothing worthwhile will happen. Okun was part of kwara state(nobody is talking about ancestors here) |
