Pls friends i really want to see things from your point of view for once because all I can see is high level of incompetence and leadership failure. And please don't insult my sensibility as an intelligent human being with the fighting corruption bullshit It's a known fact that the man Buhari loves and condone corruption, if not some of the things happening now in Nigeria will not happen. Here is a list of how Mr Buhari fights corruption * under his watch efcc gave ex governor timipre sylva back his seized houses(48 houses that wer taken and seized from him) and his case with efcc was struck out because he is an apc member * under his watch efcc caught the thief obanikoro who allegedly stole millions, and even had some returned to the federal coffers. But the man is now in apc. Mr buhari waves his broom and sing kumbaya. Telling him to go, steal but try not to get caught. *under the watch of the anti corruption czar a known fugitive running from justice by name Mr maina was reinstated into the civil service given promotion and paid all his arrears And Mr maina have come out to tell the world also that buhari authored his reinstatement * under the watch of the anti coruption czar $26billion was said to have been looted via giving contracts to government cronies i.e Mr kyari. In his letter leaked to the media by Dr ibe kachikwu. It was apparent the contracts did not go through the board, whose primary function was to detect corrupt acts. But buhari will hear non of it because he gave his tacit support Please friends examine yourself if you can't find a better reason than your ethnic and religious sentiments then join the ARTICULATED movement for a BETTER NIGERIA |

The former vice-president also plans to sell all four national refineries, and cut corporate income tax to be one of the lowest in Africa. According to the Atiku Abubakar policy document seen by TheCable, the 71-year-old plans to create three million jobs per year. The policy document was put together with a major delivery timeline of 2019 to 2025. Atiku also plans to raise Nigeria’s gross domestic product (GDP) by almost 90 percent to $900 billion by 2025. “The State’s critical policy priority is to build a broadbased, dynamic and competitive economy with a GDP of US$900 billion by 2025,” the policy document read. The former customs boss also proposes to raise foreign direct investment (FDI) to 2.5 percent of GDP. “Working towards achieving the LOWEST corporate income tax rate in Africa; Strengthening the credit guarantee initiatives of Infra-Credit by substantially increasing its capital base; Lower transaction costs: capital gains taxes etc.” Other items on Atiku’s plan include, building 5,000 kilometres of roads, and 5,000 kilometres of modern railway. The plan is built on four cardinal points: jobs, infrastructure, poverty eradication, and human capital development. The Atiku policy document also seeks to “improve spending efficiency of the federal government and drastically reduce the share of recurrent revenue in the budget from 70% to 35% by 2025”. According wthe document, Atiku also seeks to implement the petroleum industry bill, ensure Nigeria refines over one million barrels of oil per day, and generate 20,000 megawatts of power by 2025. Via a combination of policies, the former vice-president also seeks to lift 50 million Nigerians out of poverty, by 2025. “Poverty does not simply have one solution; rather it requires the concerted application of many solutions,” Atiku said. “Nigeria has vast natural resources, but our challenge remains harnessing these resources for the greatest good”. source: https://www.thecable.ng/just-in-privatise-nnpc-raise-gdp-to-900bn-cut-taxes-atikus-policy-document

If someone says you’re dead won’t you come out and prove that you’re alive?? If Buhari is still living, then he should come and prove himself real.

Have you always thought about where the word Yoruba originate? Must we accept everything cause of peace? Have you heard many misconception and misapprehension that left you baffled?? That was what got hold of me too so I decided to dig into it. What is the meaning of Yoruba? Does it have any inclination to our language? This is a thought provoking topic that needs profound reasoning and intense research for better understanding. It is time we faced the monster that keeps trailing us whom many try to ignore. In Yoruba culture, appellation is often derived from a prerequisite factor or foretelling. For fact telling, some name their child Owolabi hoping the child will bring fortune to the family, another one is that almost all Yoruba towns have their names derived from an event or a factor as illustrated in; Eba-Odan – Ibadan, Abe Okuta Olumo – Abeokuta and Ibi ti Ile ti yo – Oyo and so forth. However, these factors appear not partake in the word Yoruba. I asked a lot of people to define Yoruba, nobody had a clue so I decided to return to history and I delved into what Yoruba scholars of the past centuries had written. Slowly I began to unravel the mystery of our name. The first hint I got was from an ordinary search which spouted Yoruba. What does that mean?? I carried on, I moved on to the always ready Yoruba dictionary written by Samuel Ajayi Crowther which defines ‘Yoruba’ as a bastard and deceitful person. Another came from the one I found on a scholarly written journal of Dr Taiwo Ayanbolu who insisted Yoruba is a name derived from Hausa language which means deceit. He claimed he found the definition at York Museum in England dating to the 19th century. Before I go further here, I would like to stress how the name came aboard. It has been recorded that the Hausa-Fulani who had been in contact with the Yoruba even before the rise of Oyo Empire had for some reasons chosen to call us Yoruba, or Yaribansa. Perhaps this might have been a result of Yoruba people’s bargaining skills which often made the Fulani traders fall victim of trade by barter. Another one I stumbled on was narrated by another scholar who said the name Yoruba started protruding during the clash between Yoruba and Fulani that steered the lost of Ilorin to them in the 18th century. The Igbos had cleansed themselves off ‘Yinmiri’, a name the Hausa-Fulani had technically given to them. The igbos have today refuted Yinmiri to be a derogatory word, however, the reverse is the case for the Yoruba. From findings I have made, Yaribansa is a Fulani word meaning Bastard. An extremely derogatory word in Yoruba discourse. I read one of Professor Ade Ajayi’s book “Yoruba Warfare in the Nineteenth century” where he insisted that during the indirect rule era, it was necessary for the imperialists to give a unique name to the entire towns and people who spoke Yoruba language. Somehow, they settled for Yoruba. Yoruba is a deviation of Yoruba which the Yoruba people of that century rejected. The Ijebu, Ijesa and Egba rejected this name vehemently but because during the Kiriji war (the Yoruba civil war) where the collapse of Oyo Empire commenced and the signalling factor the imperialists used to prompt the rule over Oyo from covers. The name Yoruba was foisted on Oyo and Ibadan mainly on documents and slowly the name Yoruba was enshrined in our culture and hence, our appellation. Research shows that the Egba were the last to accept Yoruba as their appellation, reason coming from facts emanating from the first newspaper published in Yorubaland in 1859, goes: Iwe Iroyin Fun Ara Egba Ati Yoruba. This indicates that the Egba refused the name Yoruba as at 1859. Furthermore, I have read the Odu Ifa and I have familiarised myself with many Ogede Ofo, Iwure and Ewi of the past generations and I have never heard where we were referred to as Yoruba, rather, as Omo Kaaro Ojiire, Omo Oduduwa or Omoluabi. I am penning this for us to know the origin of the word Yoruba, it is a bitter pill to swallow especially now that the name has travelled far and wide, should we try to augment our appellation Yoruba? certainly too late to make any sort of modification. We might as well just carry on dealing with it. Source & Written By: Bola Olalekan |
I wept as I saw this news because merely a month ago listening to brila fm breakfast show just to forget my sorrow in this buhari hardship regime as I heard the voice of some disabled young men who could have easily chosen to be on the street begging for arms but decided to chase their dreams of becoming great sports men despite their disabilities. They are the amputee footbal team of Nigeria captained by the amazing storyteller Goodluck Obiyese (captain) who narrated how this hardworking disabled young men have been abandonded by the federal government and sport ministry and were at risk of being banned for life by the world soccer amputee federation if they failed to attend. As they solicited for fund from the general populace I was able to donate the token of 5k to support which was small but little water make a mighty ocean. It was a delight hearing that the PDP presidential candidate came to their aide at the nick of time when they thought all hope was lost with a 10million Naira donation. Wow God bless this man whether it was for political point or not he touched lifes

Don't blame the military holding your certificate or pull WAEC to produce attestation letter to you. Clear the air on the following : EXCLUSIVE: BUHARI HISTORICAL CERTIFICATE SAGA BY: LT. Col. Idris Bako (Rtd) (NA Regular Course II Set) I want to re-state categorically that Buhari has NO VERIFIABLE CERTIFICATE anywhere in the world. 1. WAEC/CAMBRIDGE GCE: - Buhari did not sit for the Cambridge examination in 1961 as his names (Muhammadu, Mohammed or Mohamed Buhari) is not in the UK Examination body's List of candidates names from 1960-1962 2. His name(s) is also NOT on WAEC candidates names in both Ghana and Nigeria Offices from 1960-1962. Any attempt by Buhari or his agents to present any document to INEC representing WACE or GCE certificate may constitute an Offence.(FORGERY, PERJURY PENDING) 3. CERTIFICATE/ARMY RECRUITMENT: - Buhari presented no certificate to the Nigerian Army in 1961 when Late Ahmadu Bello conscripted him from his School (Still In session) to join the Army, as he has none. The only paperwork came from his school principal, stating that, 4. , "I consider that he (Buhari) will pass west African school certificate, with credit in English, Maths and three other subjects". This letter is self-explanatory. You cannot pass an examination you never sat for. 5. NIGERIA DEFENCE ACADEMY (NDA): - Buhari did not attend the NDA as claimed. He attended Royal Military Forces Training College (RMFTC) for months (End of 1961 to the beginning of 1962) for normal Army recruitment and physical fitness training 6. This is not a certification programme. RMFTC was renamed NDA (established on the 5th of February 1964), and regular courses were introduced thereon. 7. UK MILITARY TRAINING: Buhari attended the Aldershot based, Mons Officer Cadet School. No Certificate was issued to Buhari, as he passed no examination for the short period he was in the UK in 1963. Cadet School information collaborates this. 8. DEFENCE SERVICE STAFF COLLEGE, WILLINGTON, INDIA: - As usual, Buhari attended the staff college and did not sit for their examinations. The Defence Services Staff College, Willington does not issue a certificate of attendance to its attendee in 1974. 9. US WAR COLLEGE: - Buhari left this College in 1980. He has in his Wikipedia page that he was offered a Master Degree in the same college in 1980. 10. THE US War college have confirmed that they started their Master program in the year 2000 and there is no way Buhari would have gotten a Masters degree in that college in 1980. Again, no certificate was issued to him. Veritable facts |
You frequently see comments from them like Only Atiku has the political structure to unseat buhari Saraki can only win on twitter and Nairaland Saraki is a traitor e.t.c. Note. Buhari was given automatic ticket so why the caring attitude towards who should contest against him |
