Don Piper is a baptist minister. In 1989, he died in a car wreck.
Several years later, Rev Piper and Cecil Murphy wrote the story of what happened after the his sudden demise and untimely death.
His bestselling story paints a picture of what occured when Don was driving home from a church conference held at Trinity Pines on the north shore of Lake Livingston near Houston Texas. Driving his red 1986 Ford Escort, he intended to travel down the Gulf Freeway and chose to take a narrow road that crossed a section of Lake Livingston, developed from damming a portion of the Trinity River. The bridge was narrow and looked dangerous. At 50 miles an hour, Don believed he shouldn't have any problems. Unfortunately, an 18-wheel semi-truck entered the bridge from the other side.
Driven by an employer of the Texas Department of Corrections, the truck veered over the center line and smashed head-on into Piper's Ford. Moving at 60 miles an hour, the truck roared over the the top of the Ford and smashed it with an impact equal to hitting a tree at 110 miles per hour. The only thing that kept Don's car from flying off into the lake was a sturdy bridge railing, but the head-on collision was enough to finish him off. Rev Piper died instantly.
The next thing Piper realised , he was standing in heaven. Large iridescent gates stood before him and a crowd of people rushed forward to greet him. One quick glance told Don that these were people who have all died earlier. Out of the crowd, his grandfather Joe Kulbeth stepped out to welcome him with a big hug, warm hug. In these large meeting committee stood one of his high school friends who had been an outstanding athlete but who had died in a car wreck at the age of 19 years old. When he looked around, Don realised that the people standing around him had each shared a role helping him to become a strong and growing christian.
Wondrous light bathed the scene. Eventually the crowd started moving towards the source of that great light. As he moved with the crowd toward the center of the light that Don believed was God, he felt a holy awe fill him and then he started to hear magnificent music. In Don's recollection of this experience, he remembers the amazing feeling of being surrounded by love. Never had he heard such moving sounds. Like worship music arising from a cathedral choir, the songs were filled with praise and joy. Much of the music blessed Jesus Christ who had become the King of kings. Piper found himself filled with the deepest sense of well-being and belonging, and he was ready to stay forever.
In the next moment, everything changed. Just has suddenly has he had come, Don Piper left Heaven.
The emergency medical technicians pronounced him dead as soon as they arrived because he had died instantly when the wreck occured at 11:45 in the morning. It was not until 1:15 P. M. that they decided to move the body. To the EMTs' surprise, they discovered that Don had a pulse. Although his body was mangled and it would take months before he was mobile again, Don Piper had come back to share his time in heaven.
As Don's book 90 minutes in Heaven comes to a close, Piper asks, "What did God want me to learn from all my experiences my death, and the long period of recovery? How can my experiences be of the most benefits to others? "
Don Piper not only met his grandfather and high school friend Mike Wood, but he also found his Native American grandmother who had been released from being stooped over because of osteoporosis and had been freed of her old+age wrinkles. The presence of these loved ones imparted a message. As a pastor, Don had led many funerals where he said the words " To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord to those who love and know him. "The radiance in their faces communicated with him and imparted new meaning to these final words said during a funeral. The experience stayed with him after he returned to this world.

It's just so sad our dear county Nigeria has degenerated to a state of anarchy. Terrorism is now the order of the day, people are killed far more than fishermen kill fishes on a daily basis.
What's is the way out, like is there any way out. We are sick and tired of the relentless bloodsheds pervading the land,and it is time for we citizens (both young and old) to go and register for our pvcs in case we haven't. Nigeria can be great again, Nigeria will thrive again. Our nation will not go up in flames
So i advise every well meaning Nigerians to get up and get ready for 2023, the lives of our children both living and not yet born depends on us, vote wisely,vote right, vote with the love of your nation burning deep within you.

As we all claim to be OBE-DIENT, do not let your obedience end here for there is life after death, millions have crossed over, some have been given the opportunity to catch a glimpse of the afterlife and what they saw changed their lives forever.
We are but sojourners in this part of eternity limited by space and time, everything we have, accuired we all fade with the passage of time, priviledge individuals like Rev Don Piper, Dr Mary C Neal, Steve Musick, Dean braxton, Bill Wiese, and a host of others have had the opportunity to come back and share their experiences after being certified clinically dead. It has changed their lives, help them become better persons, built their faith, increased their love for humanity, you dont have to have an experience before you change your ways.
There is only one life to live, but we have been offered two choices , the ball is in your court, you don't know when your clock will strike 12 midnight, it is just a matter of when, for you know not what awaits you beyond the veil.

In the summer of 1981 Dee Dee Bailey suffered a second kidney attack that put her in a hospital, and upon arriving at the hospital it turned out that she was also suffering from kidney stones, doubling her concern.
Mary D. Bailey had always gone by the name Dee Dee. She joined our servants in prayer healing group at the church, absorbing instructions in how to minister to the sick, and became an ardent intercessor for the ill.
Her physician was leaving town but told Dee Dee that another doctor would insert a catheter to help her with her problem. unfortunately, the standby doctor forgot and the catheter was never placed. Dee Dee's temperature shot up to 107 degrees and she went into convulsions. Toxic shock syndrome set in and septicaemia raced through her system. Dee Dee went quickly from a painful but treatable illness to a desperately fatal condition.
At 7:30 on this particular Sunday morning, her doctor rushed in to begin a procedure to regulate her heart, but blood poisoning had already been released into her system. Dee Dee's kidneys shut down and her blood pressure started dropping. Her body was dying.
Her mother, Donna, called the church and reported how serious the problem had become. During the worship time, it was announced that Dee Dee was in trouble, and the entire congregation started praying for her, right in the middle of the service. Back at the hospital, Dee Dee's blood pressure fell through to the bottom.
Dee Dee Bailey died.
And then it was as if Dee Dee sat up in bed, even though she saw her body lying flat on the mattress of the hospital bed. She saw tears forming in the eyes of the nurse.
"We're losing her aren't we?" the nurse asked.
The doctor didn't answer but kept working furiously, calling out to her and calling her Mary, even though she didn't normally go by that name. At that moment Dee Dee started leaving this world.
Two large angels appeared and escorted her from the hospital room, Gently but firmly, they led her into a tunnel of light. As Dee Dee floated along, she heard music, but the sound was a thousand times more magnificent than anything she'd heard before. The music overwhelmed her with an awesome sense of thanksgiving. While she had never heard the language before, she could understand exactly what was being sung. She reported that the experience felt wonderful and that all the pain from the kidney stones were gone.
At the other end of the tunnel, she stepped out. In front of her stood Jesus Christ with his arms open and extended toward her. Dee Dee raced to him and they hugged. Somehow without words Jesus communicated how much He loved her.
"It isn't your time," Jesus finally said.
Dee Dee didn't want to leave and realized that she could stay right there forever.
"It isn't your time," He repeated. "I need you to return and feed my sheep."
Dee Dee looked up at Jesus and into the most beautiful eyes she had ever seen. Then she felt the sensation of being slammed back into her own body, and her own eyes popped open.
"Oh my God!" the nurse exclaimed."Her eyes are open."
The doctor had just stuck a needle into Dee Dee's chest.shooting adrenaline directly into her heart. Immediately Dee Dee was rushed to the ICU, where she began her recovery. However, even in those moments the eyes of Christ stayed fresh in her mind.
Today,Dee Dee paints and one of her next tasks is to paint a portrait of the eyes of Christ. But most of Dee Dee's time is absorbed with"feeding the sheep." She has a life assignment to help people meet Jesus Christ and she pursues this work with college students at the University of Oklahoma.And because she is also a survivor of breast cancer,Dee Dee works with women who have been diagnosed with cancer. In all these works, her after-life experience continues to communicate the life of Christ to people even to this day.

What pained the guy wasn't the fact that he /her was found but, but that you asked him/her to waste 15 precious seconds of his/her life typing good morning.

A pastor will you that rapture will take place on a particular date, then he comes back to tell you that the date has been changed due to unforseen contigencies, the problem here is that we don't read our bibles instead we read our pastors and don't care bother to check whether what we are being fed with is sacrosanct with the scriptures, paul the great apostle tells us about the Berean jews in acts 17:11 he referred to them" as being more open-minded than their thessalonican brethen and received the word of God with all eagerness", now see what he says here " and the examined the word pf God daily to see whether the the things Paul preached were true" they didn't say because paul healed the sick, raised the dead, won thousands of soul, therefore whatever he tells us must be right, no they had to check the scriptures to verify whether what they wete hearing tally's with the scriptures lest they be led astray, so my fellow brethen let us endeavor to be like the Berean christian s and not blind followers being tossed to and fro like a leaf in the wind.

My Bossom childhood friend was financially down and needed financial assistance because his landlord was suffocating him with his constant nagging. So he contacted me as his old guy and and told me the situation on ground and requested for financial assistance from me. I didn't hesitate in sending him the money which he summed up with the one he had and cleared his house rent.

So, this afternoon, his wife texted me, and in her text, she thanked me for the assistance and requested to pay me a visit and and help me with some of my chores since my wife is in Bayelsa. From the very moment I set my eyes on that text, I haven't been myself knowing fully well that one thing may lead to another during her visit/stay.

That my guy is so dear to me and we treat each other with utmost respect so for this reason, I wouldn't like to loose that respect and trust. This woman is anticipating my response, according to her.

Please house, how do I discourage her from visiting me in my wife's absence without it looking as if I'm avoiding her? What does she want? Who has been in this type of situation and how did you resolve the issue without creating enmity?
