CareerRe: Between A State Government Job Offer & Contract Staff In A Bank At Age 32. by tbabs10166(m):
ultron12345:
If and only if you're hardworking, go for the bank job. If you're hardworking, dedicated and able to have a high performance rating, especially in marketing department, the sky will be your limit in the bank.

However, if you're like the typical Nigerian staff who prefers to sit in the office doing nothing but gisting with other staff, go for the government job.
so you think being hardworking and even dedicated guarantees ur job security in the bank?, or you think having a high performance rating will make them convert him to a full staff?. Bross, one slight error can make u lose ur bank job no matter how hardworking and dedicated you've been. Go and find out from ex- bank workers who were onced dismissed and they'll share their experience with u. It takes only the grace of God to maintain your bank job.

I understand CAF is trying to give smaller teams in Africa an opportunity to showcase their football to a larger audience but what if many of the smaller teams are so low quality, they are incapable of showcasing any brand of watchable football to an audience?Majority of the smaller teams at this tournament can't pass, cross, create scoring chances even head the ball correctly.
Madagascar has performed well though
agreed, but just in line with the point u raised, Madagascar has proven to be an exception, and this could boost their confidence in subsequent qualifiers and tournaments. Same thing happened when uefa tried it in the recent euro 2016. It gave teams like iceland and Hungary an opportunity to prove themselves which we all witnessed. Definitely not all the teams will impress u, and this might just be an experiment by caf just to see if they should continue the 24 team format.

I believe the number of teams participating at this tournament should be reduced to the former 16 teams rather than the present 24.Burundi,Guinea-Bissau and Mauritania have been awful
they are trying to imitate europe so as to improve African football.

I didn't watch yesterday's matches but came back to see the scores and saw that all yesterday's matches ended goalless. This is in keeping with the way every other AFCON matches have gone in this tournament where most matches have ended in slim margin of victory with most matches ending 1-0 or 1-1.

I think Mali has won with the widest margin of 3-1 in the whole tournament so far.

So, I've been thinking what could be the cause of the drab matches. Is it that Africa has no strikers or that Africa has good defenders?
it's Mali 4-1 Mauritania. I think we can only begin to enjoy this afcon from round of 16, those matches are just too boring.

This shit is becoming too often. It's high time we've started reporting these guys to the police.
Because I'm sure if they keep sending this to different set of 100 emails, they are sure at least one person will fall victim.

I'll gladly accept the government job without even thinking twice. The pay might be small but job security is key and u'll even have enough time for urself. If the dude is smart he can start a side business to support his monthly salary. And to even imagine that he's still a contract staff of the bank.

ArcFresky:
Kante is far better, He is versatile, scores goals, runs a lot, defends, attacks, efficient... And has won the premier league, world cup, Uefa cup e.t.c... Don't compare his last season with Nididi's because he was a played out if his position and he still adapted.

Ndidi, is yet to win anything so... You already know who d best is.
the bolded part is out of context, I agree kante is better than ndidi but ur comparison should be based on individual performance and not the trophies he has won.

It's Fake bro, that gmail account spoted it. I'm sure after filling and submitting the form you'll be told to pay certain amount for registration. I wonder why Nigeria custom is even taking so long to shortlist successful candidates. It's part of why these scammers are taking avantage of gullible victims.

SportsRe: FIFA To Investigate Cameroon Women Players' Behaviour Against England by tbabs10166(m): 5:34pm On Jun 25, 2019
I believe the inconsistency in the officiating especially with the use of VAR has really contributed to those dramas we witnessed. This same VAR was used in the men's world cup last year and we didn't really see so much of these dramas. This whole scenario started from enforcement of the new rule that a goal keeper must hv at least one foot on the goal line. The reaction of the cameroonian players might be accumulation of decisions in their previous matches.
SportsRe: FIFA To Investigate Cameroon Women Players' Behaviour Against England by tbabs10166(m): 3:49pm On Jun 25, 2019
By the way, if i may ask, the new fifa rule that states goal keepers must have at least one foot on the goal line when a penalty kick is taken. Is it a new rule?
SportsRe: Germany Vs Nigeria: Women World Cup (3 - 0) Full Time by tbabs10166(m):
HabuD:
Question is, did this team ever play a good game, starting with their match against Norway which they could have easily won down to this one. They were abysmal especially against France and Germany. Even before the penalty was awarded did they look like they posed any threat to the Germans? They just came into a knock out match and sat down to defend against a very potent attacking side without any concrete attacking plan. How do u expect to progress to the next stage if u don't score, and how can u score if u don't show any ambition to attack. Point if, if a team adopts a defensive approach, then they must simultaneously perfect their counter attacking mechanism if they want to stand any chance of getting a win. Thats what is done worldwide, as exemplified between inter and barca in 2010 UCL knock out. But all we saw in this disastrous falcons team was one which went totally defensive, and whenever they were LUCKY to get the ball, they just throw it away aimlessly. Even a mumu would tell from the start of the game that such a team can never progress to the next stage. Nigerians are just unnecesarily sentimental. They cant tell themselves the truth, thats why our teams keep going out there and failing to perform, because even when they play nonsense we clap for them, and so they would have the audacity to go out and repeat such nonsense performance. This is a team that has been in this fifa women's world cup since 1999. Thats enough time for us to have made significant progress at this level of the competition, rather than coming to this competition, playing rubbish and having sycophants hail and praise them! This is about the worst falcons team i've ever witnessed! At least other falcons team go out and attack, and when they lose they lose gallantly, and not cowardly like these bunch of unambitious players!
you're so on point, the team lack coordination and couldn't even pose a threat against the german defence, it was so bad that our girls couldn't even make two complete successive passes , we kept losing the ball immediately after winning a tackle. In short this is indeed the worst falcons I have seen. Truth is, we have no excuse for this loss and even though the officiating might have been somehow poor it doesn't still make any difference cos we were not even close to scoring a single goal.

missing a penalty against the worst goal keeper in the tournament, that was possibly the easiest penalty shoot in the whole tournament and she wasted it, obviously they don't deserve to qualify.

So why did I now pass the test? I just Taya.
maybe they just changed their mind, I have already moved on since i didn't even receive any regret or success mail from them.

SportsRe: Germany Vs Nigeria: Women World Cup (3 - 0) Full Time by tbabs10166(m): 5:49pm On Jun 21, 2019
Our defenders should just be careful cos fifa will do everything to favour the germans with the VAR, cos even if our players try to put in their best effort I wont be surprised if they award a controversial penalty against us and even a red card

football is not based on mathematics, if Germany flogged south africa 4-0 doesn't mean they'll flog us too. I agree our players are not too fantastic but we can still put up a good fight against germany

Cameroon had played better than Nigeria. Most Falcons players suck.
they seem to play better cos they played a weak New Zealand, i'll luv to watch them play france or norway or even korea and see if they'll manage to survive that group. Sometimes the strength of ur opponent count on ur performance. I agree our players have their weaknesses but don't compare us with any other African team cos they are worst. U forgot we played against a well coordinated france and norway...trust me our falcons would have done better if they were in the same group with new New Zealand Netherland and canada and wouldn't even beg for a best loser

@babs ...I agree with you to an extent..but largely because we also do not have a good programme and have scarce
Y developed our traditional style of play...the wings, building...from the back...using the flanks...chokingthe midfiled , slowing down dangerous oppositions and even ball control was wahala throughout this tourney...individually...we have some fine players but as a team we were a mess...
Only in one match, did I see a purposeful plan by a player coming from the bench to Oshoala...a lot of things hare my brother
i agree our players have their shortcomings and twas obvious they lack coordination especially in the midfield, it became so obvious because we played against a very tactical and highlly coordinated france and norway..but u shouldn't compare us with any of those African teams...cos they are even worst, they seem to play well cos they played against a weak new zealand who didn't even score a single goal in this tournament except an own goal

No other African team can qualify from that Nigeria group... Before the tournament I said only Cameroon will make it out from their group bcs it was not as tough as others... I am even disappointed they needed to qualify from the group as one of the best losers
exactly my point too. Nigeria would have done better against new Zealand and they wouldn't even need to qualify as a best loser. I don't wanna bliv our falcons will be placed in the same group with Netherland, canada and New Zealand and still struggle for a best loser. Thats not possible

They're still better than our girls.
If I were to be true to my self...Cameron were better...
South Africa have a pattern....and even better
We...we are just there..we can't trap, can't string passes...no football sense...our football politics back home also is killing the teams...
That little Cameroonian girl who scored the 2 goals for them is shoulders and above better than our best striker given current form..not just the goals but the technique, the poise and calm with which she controls the ball..

Me I just dey wait make Dem come home and let's rebuild with a mix of the WAFU girls. The younger ones in this squad and some local girls

Pray also that with the hype this world up has gained...some investors and sponsors will start giving female football a good look
our super falcons found themselves in a very tough group, trust me, they would have performed better if they were placed in cameroun's group...sometimes u need to consider the strenght of ur opponents. I'm sure none of the african teams would have survived that group A...and i'm also sure our falcons would have done better against new Zealand
