We can choose to respect or not. 1 thing for sure that will not be changed, he's got a Grammy award under his belt, where many artist dont even dream of smelling it in their lifetime, whether you like it or not he is a Legend. Rest In Peace Bra Hugh. |
Isicathamiya (Genre)was started way back in the mines a past time for men working in the mines during the apartheid days. But look where it is now, its collecting Grammy's like nobody's business. Do yourself a favour and download Ladysmith Black Mambazo - "Homeless". That song is really speaking with one's soul. Diversity! Diversity! |
There is Choral music also, on that one SA is light years ahead. Diversity! Diversity! |
LeSudAfricaine:Le Sud you always put it better. |
Rick9:What fact? |
Remember guys SA came way back with rap. E.g Prophets of Da City. |
Emac34:You dont know what to say you just put up comments just for the sake of commenting. |
Emac34:Better in what? |
FACT: Rap originates from US, right? Now it is an International Genre, when you perform it for sure it will have US elements but it is a big lie for one to say SA artist are US wannabes. Because SA rap itself is unique and of high quality and its only less exposure. Cassper is honest and on point and not trying to offend, so I think Hip-hop or music heads will handle this post better. Even Davido Congratulated Cassper for filling up FNB Stadium, even when Hip Hop is not no 1 genre in SA. That shows how South African are matured when it comes to music.

Just used my Sci Calc. its = 44.27. |
How many news of Nigerians killing their women made it to the front page? Now some Nigerians come blasing and single out the SA incidents as if its a SA thing. Crusify that person not the whole country. It happens in most of the countries even the US and the UK u keep glorifying so much. Otherwise I dont blame you on how u think because you always have half baked stories about SA. |
