I have always argued that this issue of foreign reserve is being over flogged.

India & Brazil have foreign reserves of over $300b. USA & UK have reserves of less than $120b & $170b respectively... yet which countries have the better economies? or let's put it this way, which countries would you rather make a living in?

high or low, your reserves don't mean squat if you have a chronic infrastructural deficit problem that has built up for over 40 years.

your reserves are useless if your developmental policies are wack, uncoordinated, ill timed, confused & aimed more at harassing your perceived opponents rather than building your economy.

if PMB was paying subsidy, our reserves would have been down to about $10b or less.

Senators represent this various constituencies & relates directly with them on their needs unlike the Federal tht passes thru state & Lg b4 the reminant is left for the masses.
I agree & support the senators on this,at least we will feel development directly rather than wait for ethernity for the Federal govt.

It is very clear that most people that commented above except one or two persons did not read this report. Moving some items from exclusive legislative list to concurrent list is encouraging though more is required because the "doctrine of covering the field" can still prevent the state from enacting any law or doing anything on those items. In all, true federalism is what will only move this country forward in peace and unity and that can only be achieved by restructuring this country.

Rivers youths stay away from violence.Politicians,their children and relatives are not part of this violence killing.

GEJ, made Nigeria economy the best in Africa with a stable and accessible forex, the daft called Buhari came in messed up everything and set Nigeria on the path of retrogression. Having reversed Nigeria economic growth from even the top 5 economies in Africa to recession.The exchange rate is the worst ever in this country, yet some folks made this happen.
