NNPC is the sole importer of petrol.
Which companies sell petrol to NNPC?
Kyari should release the proforma invoice used by NNPC to import petroleum products for the last one year. The president needs to relieve the CEO of Nnpc and Farouk Ahmed of their jobs. They seems to be too incompetent |

Bruisecruise: So what happens in 2027 when APC returns to power through Ganduje’s candidate as governor? Dethrone Sanusi again? And the cycle continues?
To be honest, Sanusi could have thanked Abba for the gesture but declined to be returned and ask the governor to appoint another neutral Emir in his stead after the unification of the emirate back to the way it once was.
That way, it would be outrightly difficult and ridiculous for any future governor to tamper with the arrangement. Also, it would cement Sanusi as one of the greatest leaders ever.
With the current development, it has paved way for political ping-pongs to be played with the throne of the emirate.
Do you guys think Ganduje would take this fight as a defeat in his lifetime? Sanusi knows that he’s on a borrowed time no matter how we emotionally spin these events. You are a wise man. The same thing I told a Kano indigenous people few days ago. What happens when Gawuna wins future election? |

Racoon: The lie and propaganda government is simply subsidising the dollar just as they are doing with the fraudulent fuel subsidy case. This is because the price of goods and services are not on a commensurate downward trend as the dollar is allegedly doing. This is why Reno Omokri propaganda of recent is only focused on this issue. You truly believe government is still subsiding fuel?? Kindly educate me on where the increased FAAC generated from. For your information, the three tiers of government since the withdrawal of subsidy has been sharing an unprecedented amount courtesy of the funds saved as a result of the withdrawal. |

layuns: Wow! Surviving a temperature of 45C (113F) would be rare and challenging. If the brain got that hot, it would probably be fatal in a very short time. In general, If our body temperature rises to 40°C or higher, it can lead to heatstroke, which is a life-threatening condition. At 45°C, the body would be under extreme stress, and vital organs could start to fail. People need to stay away from the scorching sun, get hydrated and be in a very low humidity zone, wear loose cloths and cover the head. Na Nigerian’s we be, last last we shall be alright! For the past few weeks here in Kano, the temperature fluctuates between 40-43°C in the daytime. It's not easy. |
Politics › Re: State Police: 20 Governors’ Decisions Ready For NEC May – NGF by teadrake(m): 8:40am On Apr 07, 2024 |
Eteka1: Tinubu should drop this dangerous idea. State police will be used by the State Governors against anyone that disagrees with them politically. That scenario would spell doom for the country's democracy. Furthermore, the usual Nigerian factors like ethnicity will come into play heavily.
Another thing is that most states can barely afford to pay salaries of their civil servants currently. It is highly doubtful that they can train, equip and pay additional thousands of state police personnel. The end result will be chaos and more crimes in most of the country. Please Nigeria is not ripe for this. Apart from the US, most other countries don't even practice such a system.
Before you talk about state police, you must first put in place a system where all the States control their resources and then sends a little thing to the Federal Government rather than the other way round. Just like in the US, Germany and some other countries that practice true federalism.
What we should be talking about is how the Nigerian Police can improve upon their efforts to put in place community policing. State Policing is a form of Community Policing where indigenous people at local government level who are familiar with the local terrain will be employed to curb the incessant security challenges thereby complementing the effort of other security agencies including the Police. That is the right thing to do. You can choose from security of lives and property and your supposedly fear of abuse by the governors |

Before extending to the ghetos in order to prevent chaos. The certainly know if they start from gheto and ask those ones to pay what they can't afford..many nepa will be lynched while disconnecting light. Chief, the logic behind it that saboteurs that are frustrating the power sector will be the target of frustrated Nigerians who after paying premium will still not have access to stable electricity. I'm wondering why government cannot fight those sabotaging these effort |
Politics › Re: Electricity Tariff: Dr Joe Abah Throws A Challenge To AEDC by teadrake(m): 12:26pm On Apr 05, 2024 |
meum: They won’t accept the challenge.
The 20hours power supply on band A is a scam. Where I stay is categorized under band A. As at yesterday, we had light for a total of 10hours. 20 hours was promised to justify the N225 per kW. How is 10hours now equal to 20 hours?
Last year, EKEDC increased the tariff promising 20 hours power supply. We were paying more per kW. Did they deliver on the promise? Yes, but it lasted only a few weeks. Was the tariff reduced to what it was after they failed to deliver as promised? NO. During the few weeks it lasted, national grid collapse never affected our power supply. That’s when I realized that power can improve in the country if they want it to.
As for this their ‘band A’ scam, it’s just a way of increasing electricity tariff without causing protests. E go reach everybody. The issue be say power supply no go improve. My brother, too many saboteurs are frustrating the power sector. Despite trillions of Naira spent over the years m, we still can boast of 20hr uninterrupted power supply. El-Rufai would have done a better job in that ministry. |
