Bro you really have no problem here.
1. First things first, being called by God doesn't translate to being a pastor automatically. It is simply God using you how He wants, you could be any of the fivefold gifts or anything else God tells you.

2. Second, if God calls you to be a pastor, he doesn't intend for you to be like the wrong models of pastors, we have today, who simply focus on siphoning money from people, which maybe is why you don't want it. But its actually a call to be like pastor "Jesus".

3. Third, whatever God calls you to do on earth, is where the greatest life lived is available to you. Any other course you take will only fall far short of God's calling not only on earth but also in eternity, when you are rewarded.

4. Fourth, your problem should not be how to start being a pastor but how to start relating with God accurately. If you will ever be a Godly, God-pleasing pastor, it will be because you have a very good/strong relationship with God. So, start by personally seeking God to JUST know Him and becoming his close friend before worrying about being a pastor.

5. Fifth, if you do (4) well, God will direct you on how to begin, progress and finish your ministry when He asks you to answer His call. You don't need to ask any man or else you risk being misled. Just learn how to hear Him for yourself (beginning with your dreams and further leadings).

6. Sixth, follow God's timing. Don't rush into anything unprepared. Wait for God's clear signal before you make a move. From all dreams you've provided here, it is only the fact that you have a call that's verifiable. But when to start, and how, still hasn't come to you. Seek God for that to come before setting out.

7. Seventh, it is God you serve, not any man. No man should launch you out if God hasn't. And no man should give you instructions except God. Men(including your favorite pastors) can mislead you and tell you it is of God and even misinterpret scriptures while at it to convince you.(1Kings 13:11-30). God alone will judge you and no man can help you in judgment so be wise.

8. Eighth, beware of men who want to school you in scriptures and get you to join their camp. Men can help you but men can as well shortchange you. So be VERY CAREFUL with men. Only learn under those God leads you to and even that, with carefulness to chew the meat and spit out the bones.

The thought is driving me mad cos i dont want to be a pastor o and i don't go to church but the signs am seeing couple with series of dreams i do have is driving me towards that.

If i could recalled it started about 7yrs ago when i traveled to uyo with my one time friend. So he invited me to their family church vigil. Casually, i followed him and immediately the woman in charge saw me, she said am going to be a pastor and I was like wetin dis one de talk. I impatiently wait for 4am before i dashed out of the church.

The other time in abuja, my friend invited me to their church. The pastor start to tell me all sort of things like i'll be so great and successful blah blah blah that I might end up being a man of God and he wanted to lay his hand on my head, i refused bluntly in front of everyone. He felt embarrassed one kine as hold his hand up but who cares.

Then series of dreams started. I really can't remember all the dreams I've had relating to this because it comes occasionally for years now. Some i remember till date some i just ignored.

I've once had a dream where a man like a pastor was sitting and his men about 8 of them were standing beside him and another man sitting on the bare floor backing the pastor. The pastor was seriously blaming the man on the floor for being disobedient. I ignored.

Another dream I had again. One man of God was having a mighty crusade and out of the whole crowd he called me out and lay hand on me. Still don't care.

And many more like that but just this morning i had a dream where i was preaching to 2 or 3 people like that and that makes me seriously worried.

Now my issues is these:

I don't go to church at all. I prefer to stay indoor and pray & worship, i enjoyed worshipping God though and sometimes i hold vigil because I've been battling with a spiritual attack that defies medical treatment which doesn't allow me to go to places for my business unlike before for about 3 years now. I only go to church once in a while on Fridays for vigil and na cele church.

Na this pastor thing de worry me.

What will happen if i bluntly ignore or refuse?

Even if I want to answer, where do i start from?

Should I just walk into any church and say i have a calling from God or i should just continue my cele church on a regular basis now.

I don't even know how and where to start with bible.

I need help and advice please. Sorry for my bad English and long write up.

I had this dream sir,

I found myself in a room, pacing up and down praying seriously with everything in me. The door was opened i felt it in my mind that there is someone or people with dark powers like a ruler of darkness in the next room after mine. The dream was like we were battling with display of powers like combating seriously. Sometimes while praying my voice will go off like nobody is hearing what am saying but i wouldn't just care, i'll be moving my mouth like that still praying and my voice will come back itself since i didn't stop. Sometimes it will be fluctuating, like my voice was breaking. I just continue de pray de go like that non stop. Sometimes it will be only my prayer points that will be audible, still don't care i just de fire de go. and all these while in the other room next to my room was so dark. I couldn't see through but i know activities were seriously going on there competing with my prayers.

Then all of a sudden, i realized that in the room where i was praying, some people were starting to sing right from there sleep. Like they were dead or sleeping for long and they were singing while woking up and ready to join me to continue the prayers. I was like oooo these people will slow my prayers down but i was happy that i won't be alone praying. What surprises me was that these people were not visible when i found myself praying in the room. These people look like my family because i couldn't see their faces and the scenario happened in my dad house in the village.

Then while woking up and singing, i started seeing smoke coming out in the room like when putting on mosquito coils in different places in the room but the smoke was thick. So in my mind, i was like let me lock the door so that mosquito will not enter the room and immediately i locked the door, i realized that they couldn't hear my voice again in the other room then i woke up.

And I was like Jesus Christ!! because right now I can't even pray the way i did in the dream. In fact, for few weeks ago now I don't pray at all

Had a dream that we were in our room and it seems we have a visitor a woman. She was discussing with my wife and all of a sudden my wife gave me something from her that i should observe or read and I started to become uncomfortable like i was smelling something really bad and i started searching everywhere and i looked straight at our under bed and i saw something tied lying down there. I became so mad at my wife and I rushed out of the room with serious anger. So outside the woman (the visitor) came to meet me and i ask her what was that and she said it is her dead son body. I became mad more that at soon as i set my eyes on my wife am gonna ask her to send the woman out. So i went to one bro living with us in the same house to give me advise when i woke up.

I am seriously worried with recent happenings in my house lately and i am planning to travel this Wednesday

I Had this dream that some people were playing football and their ball fell into another compound. I don't know how but i was the one looking for the ball. So i went to the backyard of the compound and while looking i saw a hole already dig with a round object like, tied inside nylon inside the hole. The hole looked like toilet so i was like let me quickly defecate inside. Now i can't really say if i really defecate inside because i didn't look back or see any faeces but i saw water beside it. So i started to clean my buttocks with the water then a man came to see or monitor i cant say then i here a knock on my door then i woke up.

I saw myself walking on a land space with so many local iron traps that can damage one's leg if stepped on though they were not visible but I was able to navigate through it carefully and cautiously so as not to step on it but i walk through.
And this is the second time i'll be having such dreams. I had the first one years back where i was navigating through a land space full of nails and thorns till i was able to cross to the other side.

Could this be the cause of the severe pains i am feeling on my left leg for years now?

After a serious prayer last night sir, i had this dream that;

i was living in my room with an old woman, she was naked and dressing up. The woman is actually my friend's mother in my village. I was somehow surprised because I was having the feelings that she is actually my wife. She said to me that na wa o that i dont have intimate with her again and I knew within that its due to my prayers lately. I wanted to ask her what are we now that are we actually dating or married but i kept the question to myself.

All of a sudden a life black chicken (akuko adie black ) appeared from nowhere beside me on bed and i was like how did it got here. She quickly grabbed the cocck that it is because of my prayer that i prayed, that its a sign that they listened. She just murmured the response somehow
Then my wife image appeared telling she wanted to go and get food outside that what will she get for me for breakfast and I said anything.
Then i don't know how i got outside my house coming from where i used to buy stuffs and on my way i stepped red light something wondering what it might be but in my mind i said it is an earpiece wire all the way from my room maybe people are listening might be listening.

Then I also saw someone in all black like those Muslims hijab giving my wife paper to add with the documents she was having with her Already. I was thinking she is her mother. When i moved closer it was a death certificate boldly displayed to me on the wall. (Though she was working on the death certificate to clear out her money in the bank.

You have been called to be a pastor and I think you are the one that pastor was referring to as been disobedient. Even the children were telling you you are a messenger of God, and God is calling you but you don't seem to want to hear. I hope the policeman going to lock up the church is not the devil going to lock up your calling because you have been disobedient and rebellious. The two children means your glory(your calling too), you may need to do something about your call right away so flrustration wont lead you to take some extreme physlal measures(beating the children)that may be detrimental to your life as a whole.

How do I start because honestly sir I don't mean to disobeyed the calling. I enjoy worshipping God and I do pray unto him but Right now for the past two years now i cant walk wit my legs freely. I'm in llserious pains when I force myself to walk for 20 lseconds. I was attacked spiritually whlich I was just moving here and there for a solution. I told God in prayer to heal that am ready to serve Him because this pains seems to be so stubborn. I don't go too church for sometimes now because of it coupled with finance too. I just stays indoors all day and holds night vigil all day


Now i have few questions to ask sir

What do you mean by saying me taking extreme physical measures that may be detrient to my whole life

2. Can God's call on someone life be locked up

3. If i wants to start taking the steps now will God show me the church to go to or i should just start bible class in my current church

This dream is giving me a great concern sir


It happened simultaneously but I first noticed that I crossed a road and entered a church. Seems a program was about to start and I was sitting close to the front and i dont know how i came out of the church.
The scene changed and I was in my village and was coming from somewhere backing a big black bag on my back. All of a sudden two kids appeared from nowhere. Like a boy of 6 and a girl of 8 years. They were seriously following me. They first said that I should buy something like juice for them and I asked how much is it. The girl said 400 and when I checked that was the exact amount with me so I declined that I can't buy it. Still following me and now they started calling me those attributes of Jesus that i don't know who I am that I am a messenger that God is calling me and all.

They followed me to the same church that I came out of and from where I was standing I noticed that the church was filled to the brim and I was wondering that if rain starts now where and how will people cope. Still going again i was to go to my brother's house and I know that the wife is a witch so I changed my mind from going again.
Then a policeman passed me like rushing somewhere. I noticed that he was rushing to lock up the building of the church like he is the landlord and he did lock up tlhe door with a padlock and the congregation were outside still holding the service. I now saw a man like the man of God but I couldn't recognize him with some few people which I think they were his people like church elders. The man was sitting down while the rest were standing beside him and he was blaming a particular man which i also think he is a pastor for disobedient. The man was sitting on the floor backing the man of God.

Then the three of us now me and those kids again now got to a place like our home and i met with my mom and some people. They were like my neighbors and to my surprise those people started to engage the kids in a fight. They wanted to start hitting them so I had to come to stop the fight sha when I woke up.

My wife had this dream and she is feeling unhappy about it.

She said in the dream that we were at somewhere and things were not really going well for us as it is presently. So she went to alagbo where she uses for antenatal because she is currently pregnant and she slept there and woke up and she was told that she has given birth. She was surprised because she didn't go through pains as expected and the baby girl doesn't look like a new born baby at all that she looks like a two months old baby so she became worried. More so she was trying to breastfeed the baby and the baby refused.

She now went to meet her mom which died last year and on getting there she told her mom that she has given birth and her mom said that she already knows and her mother also told her that the baby doesn't looks like a baby but like two months old baby and when she woke up she became worried.


Pls note; her mom died last year and I've once had a dream before that she gave birth to a boy. Though the gender of the baby is unknown yet through scan as the pregnancy is still at the early stage.

I seriously hope its not a bad dream.

Last night I couldn't pray because there was no light and everywhere was silent but I was praying mentally and within seconds i found myself under an orange tree. The leaves on the tree was so full and I was the only one under the tree loking for an orange and all of a sudden there was this mighty force that came to press me while sleeping. It was so massive and strong like wind and wanted to overpower me. As i was making an attempt to stand the force evn bcom stronger and my left face was getting hot but despite the force i still manage to stood and shout Jesus.

When i woke up and everywhere was still silent but praying mentally. So stood up to pray properly but I just murmuring not connecting at all so I went back to bed then I had this dream that we were somewhere. It seems they were looking for a shoe. I new where they kept it so I went straight to one bag i there i found the shoe along with my brothers shoe as well then the scene changed

I don't know how i got into a cave like dungeon. We were many that got there unknowingly and unexpectedly. Some were familiar faces. So someone attended to us that before we can be set free according to his boss that we were to into a forest and the first person to either kill one animal or first to bring something. We were given different kinds of weapons like guns and the likes but I collected a pistol from him and we headed for the forest.
I was like me way no get muscle like others but I sha follow them. Few seconds away we got to a spot and everyone follows different routes and i follow a guy. The guy was heading for a river and me seeing the river from afar i told him that we should turn back that we should walk as a group.
On turning back one familiar face that wasn't among us saw an animal like hernia and called my attention to it. He was also moving close to the hyena to kill it but he didn't have any weapon then I shot it from my pistol and watch as my bullet piece thru the animal body and fell flat but not dead. So I move close to claim before others could and as i got there the hyena wanted to attack me i shot it again and it died on the spot. I pulled the trigger multiple times but seems it only 2 bullets as nothing was coming out. So I drag it on the floor to where they gave us instructions earlier and everyone was surprised to see me with it and with anger i shouted that they should release me on top of my voice. The guy wanted to respond then I woke.

Please help me decode this dream.

For sometimes now i do see signs thats getting me worried. I do see myself in my dads house so last night i begin midnight prayer and after the prayer i dream that I was walking on the 3rd street to my house and I don't know how a dirty 500 note got to my pocket. It was when I got to a junction that I bought the money out of my pocket and i gave it to my jnr brother.

Then I looked up i saw somebody in a room watching the same channel on my tv screen in my own house (normally I use to play game playstation every night till sometimes 1 am before I sleep) not that we connect to the TV together o. As i was playing the game the person is watching it on his/her own room too and I was wondering how come.

Then It seems that I was praying and at the same time it looks like someone somewhere is tapping on something with a hand, the thing looks like my picture but I'm not sure simultaneously as am praying hard. The thing looks like we are fighting/dragging and all of a sudden I begin to warn the person seriously that it seems he/she wants to see the wrath of God (i said it in yoruba wipe o fe ri ibinu olorun) and as i was saying this my eyes were turning to red like flame and when it gets to the height where I was about to seize/bulldoze him/her and like a flash i was in a room narrating the dream to my sister in the dream again then I woke up.

Maybe it's not such a bad thing after all but a very good sign.

There was a time while I was praying I felt some strange kind of feeling in my stomach area while I knelt down on my bed and was praying, that it made me scared at the time because it was new to me.

It was as if an intensity building up, and I didn't know then what it was for it was new to me, but now I know better, because it has built up into overflowing utterances of the Spirit of God and extent of intensity of the presence of God that is really overwhelming.

So I knew that it was actually the presence of God's Spirit that was building up at the time and nothing to worry about.

And back then or sometime later after i felt that presence in my stomach area, i started noticing a strong presence on my head just like someone pouring me oil on my head and i also had felt certain intensity on several parts of my body.

But because it was when I had began walking at my present level of the Spirit, I just thought it was the presence of God and I was able to relate it what happened to Jesus after His baptism of water when the Spirit of God was said to have alighted upon His head, and also the disciples after the coming of the Spirit of God when there were said to be cloves of fire on their head.

This is over ten years later and even as i'm typing this I still feel the presence on my head, but as i said even much more as it is all over my body and the intensity grows when I am more spiritually charged just as when I pray, and I even hear even like a sound of a mighty rushing wind in the process, it flowing inside and overflows outside from the inside of my stomach and it made me understand better that the Holy Spirit is the air we breath, because it is air based.

So do not be afraid for I think it's a good thing bro and with time I believe that you would come to see its benefit, just like I have been seeing the difference it has been making in my life and which even reflects here in Nairaland, for it's that presence that makes the difference.

So don't fight it, because it's not there for evil but to help you even in your prayer life for you need Him, so make Him feel welcomed and give Him the conducive environment so that He can showcase the extent of His ability in you.

Let the Spirit of God have His way!

I'm not trying to derail the thread since I don't know much about things like this but op have you considered seeing the doctor and finding the problem from a medical point of view instead of a religious one.
