That's good news cos i'm also going there 2mrw 2 collect my visa.

@alaki,mine too has not changed o,i've even been calling d visa enquiries line since n its as if dey dn't want 2 pick my call(n blieve me its not as if dey r not wit d fone o cos @ one point wen i called it was saying user busy n immediately wen i tried it again it went thru but nobody picked d fone).
they shld just pick my call n give me an update on wat's happening.

@holalekan, dat was wat I heard 2 abt d accommodation ish, I was told getting an apartment outside is more cheaper, a frnd of mine actually has his outside 2 but my parents wn't hear of it. They've even paid d full year accommodation so dat I wn't have any tin 2 complain abt.

About d post study work visa, I know nothing abt it.

Mayb justwise and others could answer that question.

My online status is still reading d same your blah blah blah ,I pray by Monday eveving it would have been updated 2 a better n interesting story.

@ princedm, I mostly check mydundee emails(der novell , ) cos I tink dat's d one more personal 2 me. I got my timetable n other seminars dey will b having 4RM de.

@holalekan, dn't worry abertay dundee. Robert Gordon, n Dundee itself wit so many other uni,I blieve dey r all good.

I will b leaving d day after I collect my visa(or maybe dat day sef) n abt my accommodation,my parents have already paid d full school's accommodation so I've gat nothing 2 worry abt only if I dn't lyk der accommodation sha.

I AGREE TE- AMO! My dad just branched there on his way back from Victoria Island and they told him they're expecting new Consignments today ( new Batches of Processed documents) I'm sure ours will be in there!! Surely! And they said 100% unfailingly we should have them visas on Monday. My friend also called them this morning and they said the same thing. I hated these people before but now, I love them!

after calling them up to 30times without them picking. They finally picked and the lady said that they are now sending Abj applications to Lagos for now and they r still on August applications. She gave me their Lagos number which has been busy, I gave up after trying for about 2hrs before giving up. I no de understand this people o

We submited our applicatn 29th August,my wife as principal applicant while me and our baby as dependant,up till now no feedback,status hasn't changed,and school starts 26 September,what could be the issue,we all have travel history to the UK.
Any advice will be highly appreciated

I also submitted on d 29th of August,when I called Dem on Tuesday I was told dey r just processing applications submitted on d 25th n dat it will soon be d turn 4 applications submitted on 29th. I also told Dem abt d deadline wich was formally next week Monday(26th),I was advised 2 ask 4 extension 4RM my school n thank God dey've extended my deadline to 3rd.n I'm sure if I dn't get my visa dis week,den it will surely b next week.

Finally my deadline has finally been moved to 3rd of October by d school authorities(and updated @ d embassy).

Guys,

Miss me, Well urs sincerely has been having a running battle trying to get paid before taking off. So i actually took gbaby87's agent and she's getting me a one way ticket to u know where via Emirates.I leave sat night. Its cheaper and i'm flying them for a change from Virgin.

Te-Amo, have a little faith, if u look at the calendar, there's only one working day left for applications to have been sent, which was the 26th because 29th was a bank holiday in the UK, 30th and 31st were public holidays in Nigeria. U may just get it.

This is what i advise u do, call your school. enough of this mail thing. Most times, if i send a mail and i dont get a response with 48hrs, i call. It creates a personal rapport and connotes seriousness. Call your school and speak with the international student officer asking for an extension. if they can, they should also send a mail to the consulate.

Again on Friday, call the call centre and see what they say. it aint over till the fat lady sings .

Lmaooo Te- Amo, they're not serious . my Friend submitted on the 8th of this month and got his on the 16th. He lives in Warri so he couldnt pick it up till Monday ( which was yesterday). And he got it. I put in my application exactly a week ago from today and I'm sure it's almost ready. My other friend went to the collection centre today and said it was almost empty, The number of applications are dropping so, calm down. You may just get it before the week runs out. All you need is faith.

4 u all 2 know,i called d visa inquiries line today n i was told "we are currently working on visa applications submitted on the 25th of last month".

I asked her about mine which has been submitted since 29th n she told me i have to call back next week!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

And the latest date i could start d course is next week monday,i sent a mail 2 d school informing dem abt d prob @ hand (i was even asking dem for an extension of deadline) n no replyyyyyy .

You guys,lyk how many working days was your visa processed cos i will lyk 2 know if der's still hope me getting a visa dis year cos my deadline is fast approaching,just one week 2 go n i applied on d 29th wich makes it 10 working days 2day(not sure how dey calculate der wrking days ish).

10 working days n still counting 

26th September is my resumption date deadline unless I'm deferring  till next year.

I've already packed my bags n I'm GOOD TO GO with a very HIGH MORALE( well,only if i get my visa on time  )

So ur own na small thing. I applied 29th of August and by God's grace 19th-21th of dis month i know der will b good news.

Don't stress urself 2 much jare just pray dat der will b divine intervention from watever God u serve just lyk my frnd.

When I read your message I knew it was serious business and that is a question to be asked because it is the reason for going thru this visa application stress. Justwise I am of the opinion that you make this whole explanation so that we don't lose focus on d reason for UK postgrad with part time job and other hustle.

A friend who applied on d 9th Aug is in the air now abroad Virgin air and is with cash of 1260GBP, 46kg free load and a hand bag, He took of 10.20am to LHR. Those who applied btw 15th Aug-19 Aug be expectant next week for Good news.

I could not believe it myself wen i saw it and no,he has not been der b4 and even if u've been der i dn't tink it works day way.
After checking ukba website,dey wrote 1% of it ever happening within 5 working days.

I just submitted mine too,last week Monday n he submitted his on Thursday and he has gotten his own while i'm still waiting for mine.

All i know is that,IT IS WELL,

A frnd of mine applied for his visa last week thursday (as in 1st of September) n his visa has just been granted.

He collected his package ysterday, n it has been stamped and he's ready 2 fly.

Dis is f**** unbelievable. Its as if my eyes are deceiving me right now n his school has nt even resumed yet till ending of dis month.
