Just had the courage to check my IELTS result and it could have been worse but not what I expected. First time LRWS 8,7.5,7,7.

ECA not yet ready, Masters.

Planned on claiming just one year because my work experience is a bit complicated but that will leave my score too low at 444.

Want to confirm if my work experience can go like this:
Paid Industrial training(NOC 2282, 40hrs/wk): 6months, reference letter can easily be gotten.

NYSC(NOC 4031, 40hrs/wk): 11/12months, reference letter not available but plan on writing it myself and notarize it with bank statement to support my claim.

Retail sale supervisor (NOC 6211, 50hrs/wk, paid family business ): 13 months, reference letter available, paid in cash.

Research assistant, (NOC 4012):
September 2017 - December 2017 (20hrs/wk)
January 2018 - April 2018 (20hrs/wk)
September 2018 - December 2018 (20hrs/wk)
January 2019 - current (Spring semester)(10hrs/wk)

I believe i should be able to use all this to claim 3yrs of work experience right?

No, don't notarize the LOE. I mean, notarize the reference letter if you are writing it yourself. The LOE is just a letter written by you to explain any other information you feel the VO needs to know about your application.

Thanks, will write the LOE and notarize it. My supervisor is refusing to give his ID, hopefully the notarized LOE will be good enough.

1. Are there any correspondences or email exchanges where they indicated that they cannot issue the letter to you? If yes, then submit that email or letter together with a reference letter written by YOU on a plain paper, notarize it and add your AI's ID card or any other superior's ID.

If no, write an LOE to explain why you could not get a reference from your employer, write your reference letter yourself on plain paper, notarize it and add your supervisor's ID card. You should also include your salary bank statement to give your application more credence. If you can get your payslips and employment letter, add them as well.

Pls I need help/suggestion(s) on the following questions .

I’m currently studying outside the country and I am trying to gather my documents for FSW.
I served in Brass island, Bayelsa state as an Economics Secondary school Teacher (Community secondary school) back in 2011/2012 and I want to include my NYSC.

1) Regarding the reference letter, I tried contacting my AI and he told me since I was employed by the state, the school can’t issue the letter and it can only come from the secretariat. Begged him to help me make inquiries and he later reported that the secretariat is requesting that the recipient of the letter(I.e CIC) should write to them requesting for my details as a Corp member.
Sent him the link where all the documents required were stated but he’s not moved.
Now I don’t know what else to do and would love to include NYSC because that will increase my WE to 3yrs.

2) Just need clarification regarding this...for example, if I worked from October 1999 - September 2000. Does that count as one year or 11 months. LinkedIn states it as one year.

I had a WES USA credentials since 2014 but I registered for WES Canada this year. Paid the application fee and filled in their 'contact us' form for them to transfer my WES USA credentials to WES Canada, I did not pay any extra fee for the transfer and there was no need for transcript verification.

I hope this answers the first part of your question.

Also if I have two degrees, a Bsc and a masters, do I have to evaluate both the degrees or just the most recent one?

My online family. Just had an experience with WES and I thought I should share, maybe someone will benefit from it.

So my ECA was completed in March, 2018. Then there was no requirement for WAEC/NECO evaluation. But I still sent my SSCE certificates together with my UK masters and Nigeria BSc.

Fast-forward to December 2018. I applied for course by course evaluation for professional registration. After I submitted my application, the automatic document requirements list appeared that I should send my SSCE certificates and scratch card for verification.

I've not sent the documents because of my schedule. Surprisingly, WES sent an email that all my documents is now complete. The my evaluation will be completed this month.

I'm just excited that I don't need to spend another cash sending SSCE scratch card..

In all, IT WILL END IN PRAISE.

You may not need to send WAEC result. I didn't send WAEC result when I upgraded my ECA to course by course evaluation. And I did the initial ECA before the introduction of WAEC.
My advice - wait for some time (typically 2-3 weeks).

WES will inform you if WAEC is required.

Will wait it out, still have some months to spare. My plan is to dive into the pool by late April.

Pls, I need your advice on what next to do.

Back in 2014, I evaluated my credentials using WES ICAP. This year I decided to upgrade my account for ECA and I was advised to open another application but my credentials will be transferred from WES US to WES Canada.

I was not aware of the WAEC requirement until recently, but on checking my account two days ago; I realized that it's saying "Application Submitted" and "Evaluation is in progress".

Currently, I'm in the USA about completing my Ph.D. and I will really be glad if I can avoid the whole WAEC result ish...

Do you guys think I should still go ahead and send the WAEC result/Scratch card?

"I just spoke with the Graduate School admissions office regarding your application. The problem is that in lieu of your Redeemer's University transcript you submitted a WES course-by-course analysis. The Graduate School accepts ICAP, but not course-by-course analyses. In a previous email, you mentioned that you had an ICAP evaluation. Please email that evaluation directly to me, and I will send it to the Graduate School to complete your application."

Btw, I paid for WES ICAP course by course analysis and it has been evaluated since December last year.

Yep, I ave. They've received all my documents since 18th. I was informed the report will be ready on d 26th but its not yet ready. Not bothered about it any longer. Already applying to University of Minnesota for Fall 2015.
So I'm just going 2 sit down n relax.

Not going well jare, ave already given up. Called my school(BU) ysterday n dey told me dey've not received any notification, still d same old story dis morning. Also got an email from WES cos I contacted dem n I was told the notification has been sent via fax and postal mail.
Thinking of changing school sef cos I told one of my Prof abt Northeastern University n he was like ?? , he said I shld apply to a well recognised school.
Still on d search for something better, MS Health informatics for Fall 2015.

I got an email from WES last week informing me that my document has been placed on hold till they receive a written response from BU.
The issue is that I just contacted BU and I was told they've not received any email.
Is the notification usually sent thru email or via post

check out the deadline for admission in your school as long as it gets to them before it closes, you should be good.
Also, check the admission requirements, it will solve the question you asking.
Lastly, you cannot determine what the VO's state of mind is.
You believed the school you saw satisfied your requirements, hence, you stuck with the school.
You just have to convince the VO if she/he asks you why only 1 school, don't put yourself in knots jare, you are still ok.

On there website, it states December 7th for application deadline but I dn't think that's for international student (even though nothing else was written there). As par the TOEFL, they said international student must write the exam. Will register for the next available date and write it.
Looking forward to Fall 2015 cos I tink dis one done pass.

In order not to jeopardize your efforts, you need to get down to business.

Second, you have to read this forum more especially previous posts. We had shared a lot of ideas and strategies.

Please take at least one standardized test, but if you can't, then you would have to figure out some congent reasons to give on the day of your interview and pray that VO agrees with you.

In a nutshell, you have to be motivated. Motivation is the key here. Do not put all your eges in one basket and apply for more schools. Do not let undue pressure hamper your success. MA is a good state and I regard it as scholastic state

I'm so confused right now . Last week I submitted my application for Spring admission to Northeastern University but everything seems not to be working out fine because I have 3 (three) transcripts and only two has been sent to WES. The last one will be sent out next week from Babcock University through FedEx.
Do you guys still think I still have a chance to be considered for admission. (You know the whole evaluation period and all.)
My other issue is that I did not write a standardised test because I have a PgDip from a UK university and I wrote IELTS in 2011 and the GRE is being waived because of the course I'm applying for (MS Health Informatics). I sent a mail to the school regarding this but no response over 3 days now.
Lastly, even if get the I-20, I only applied to one university(I don't believe in applying to several schools). What if the VO reads meaning into it.
