@teapea8484. I included the tax clearance in mine. The tax paid was in the hundreds of thousands sha. Can't remember the particular amount.

shayi12: i have been following this post for a while now nd just thought ild add ma own little advice.some of us are adding tax clearance reciepts/certificate. however we 4get that we have delcared our assest and money either in bank statements,bonds,shares etc worth over millions of naira and yet in the tax certificate it shows that we paid prolly 1% of a proposed amount which is not our actual value.this is called tax evasion and according to my agent, the embassy can refuse you visa because of this(due to inconsistent monetary values) hence according to my agent, the best way to avoid this is not to include the tax reciept/certificate. hope this helps... cheers!!!

Just cross twice and make sure all empty pages of your passport are stamped. Then you can at any immigration office in nigeria for the normal fee.

Then. You can submit both the old and new passport at VAC
Or you wait till august when you'll have 6 months left on your passport.

GboyegaD: Provided the documents are genuine then you are safe. I think what they mainly confirm from the bank is that the account is true and the balance as at the date you submitted it.

Fhemmmy: I mean dont go to Oluwole to buy statement of account . . .
It means dont just dump the money into the account in one shot, it will look fake.
It means do it with diligence

Fhemmmy: The embassy might wanna investigate but it is even to your own advantage that he can speak English well, the Canadian embassy are aware of the fact that English is not the only language in Nigeria, however, they MIGHT call his bank and verify all documents, so please be careful and do it right . . . . Also, if it comes to tough one, get an interpreter to speak for him . . . But please do not cook the books.
