PoliticsThis Thread Is For All Youths Seeking Employment.. by Tearg1(op): 6:29am On Dec 13, 2014
Hey Guys, just been thinking through the level of unemployment in our dear country, especially for youths and middle aged citizens.. What is the way forwardhuh are we really going to wait for the government to create Jobs?? Perhaps I come to believe that everyone has a skill... maybe when we begin to work together in unity, we can combine our skills to create employment for ourselves and break free from the chain of unemployment.

Kindly share your story, skills and how your journey to creating self employment has been so far...

Thanks Guys

RomanceWould You Marry A Guy Because He Has A British/american Citizenship by Tearg1(op): 6:04am On Dec 13, 2014
I recently encountered a situation where a friend of mine who met a lady in London and made the lady to believe he had his papers. After a short while when they started dating, she fell in Love with him and before he proposed to her, he revealed the truth that He was still struggling to get his papers right. So for that reason he couldn't do the traditional marriage in Nigeria, everything was done in the UK.

After a while she started feeling the heat and complaining that she wished she had married someone with a British Passport because she wants to travel around the world. Then she also mentioned that leaving everything behind in Nigeria and relocating to London was a waste of time since what she wanted she couldn't get it out right, which was her UK residency.

Now this prompt me to ask, do most Nigerian Girls think of what they want to achieve before marrying a UK/US based Nigerian? or they marry because of true love...

I have had friends who travelled to Nigeria and brought their wives over with no problem. even though they dnt travel often she seems satisfied.

Or could it be that the old aged mentality of thinking London / Yankee as a paradise still exists among young Africans??

Ladies whats your take on this subject??

I like guys that are confident and know their worth.
My mentor once told me when a guy is confident, he transfers that confidence to his woman...
RomanceLadies, What Attracts You In A Guy's Personality?? by Tearg1(op): 4:26am On Dec 13, 2014
This question has been in my heart all year long, it seems like different girls like different things in a guy. Some are interested in his wallet, like I once experienced and some are actually seeking genuine men.

In any relationship, I believe personality matters alot, especially that of a guy.. Some of my friends are always wary of ladies who try to take advantage of them because of their "cool and calm" personality. Like I once witnessed, a close friend of mine whom I cant mention his name on here, took a lady to a top restaurant in Lagos and she tried ordering 2 bottles of Moet, and my friend felt embarassed.

He walked away after the meal, paid for the entire dinner and deleted the lady's number from his cell phone. Thats how she traded a genuine guy for materialistic things. well now I reflect on that incident and ask myself, what does lady's really search for when they date a guy, and what kind of qualities do guys look for in a lady??
PoliticsAspiring Politicians, Learn from Atiku's Mistake!!!!! by Tearg1(op):
After reading OBJ's book and studying the political instability by Atiku, it serves as a lesson to all aspiring Politicians on the notion of Political cross carpeting. Some Join PDP and when PDP doesn't favour them, they move to APC, then to Labour Party and then to AGPA till they eventually find rest in their political grave PPA...

Atiku may have had "good intentions" when he fought off OBJ's third term agenda, because OBJ was trying to tamper with the constitution which was morally and politically flawed. However observing him politically taught me a lesson on how to remain stable politically. Perhaps sticking to ACN would have added alot of credibility to his chances.

So now the key question is, what are the results of political instabilityhuh..

But lets look to the future, what are the probabilities for aspiring young politicians not to fall into the same trap??

God Bless Nigeria
PoliticsThe Future belongs to the Youths... !!!! by Tearg1(op):
After the APC Election, I come to believe that there is a better and brighter future for our Country Nigeria.. Observing the democratic process which was employed made me believe that the only thing that is missing in this country is TRUE LEADERSHIP......

Who is the true Leader between GEJ and GMBhuh that is the question that ponders my mind all through out yesterday...
The true leaders of this country is US, the Youths... and middle class citizens... we feel the heat and we have the solution.. and we can start leading the country from our neighbourhoods regardless of who the future president is..

The rigging of election is a stain on our electoral practice, knowing fully well that the voice of the people has been silenced. Its up to us to resist any attempt to Rig the election. I spoke to some friends from Brazil, and their election is done electronically, and the question I asked myself is, is our government pretending not to have a solution to election rigging? or they are simply preventing the solution from solving the problem like we have in our energy sector.

Unemployment and crime is rife in our country, and I believe whatever the outcome of the election, the Youths must not sit down and fold their arms like we once did. We must be prepared to take the future into our hands with boldness.

Lets rise with one voice and hope they dnt try to break our spirits..

Long Live Nigeria
