I just thought of sharing my views on the ongoing fracas between the federal govt and the NDA backed by Tompolo.. After careful analysis of the Niger Delta, the region itself has been shared among several power brokers ranging from the James Ibori clan to Ayiri Emami, Tompolo, Goodluck Jonathan and several other power brokers. The PDP itself in the region is divided since Jonathan left office. However the solution to the Niger Delta crisis is far beyond arresting a single warlord as there are countless number of warlords waiting to take Tompolo's spot should he be arrested and jailed. Our government needs to look at a much peaceful solution to the crisis and learn from the Jonathan Era. Although Pacifying the militants will not help as it only postpones the chaos. We need a much trusted solution to the Niger Delta crisis, and for the government to achieve this, they need to work with the people who know the area really well. Education and infrastructure are 2 key areas that needs to be looked at, and a conducive atmosphere needs to be created for businesses to be able to move into the area. Warri alone is a vibrant business city and I believe that more opportunities needs to be created to allow businesses to move into the area. Should anyone of you have a great idea, its time we start thinking of a viable solution to the Niger Delta crisis. God Bless Nigeria. |
crixtex:Are you my pay master? |
Isn't this how GEJ was hanged for removing oil subsidy?? The truth is that, NIGERIANS HATE THE TRUTH AND LOVE FANTASY... |
Milonis:Buhari was sent by God to Deliver Nigeria from the pit of destruction ....He may have gone to the extreme but Nigeria will be restored. ... |
Milonis:Buhari was sent by God to restore Nigeria |
Milonis:when Jonathan was there and he gave these freedoms you mentioned, wasn't it used against him... PMB knows the power of the media, knowing fully well his effort could be hindered by corrupt politicians who can orchestrate a revolution against him using the media outlets... We voted for change, even though I didn't vote for him, I see sense in what he is trying to do..... He is not a saint, but for Nigeria to be great, we need a Saul to precede our coming David... |
There is hunger is the land, that is a fact... But we are not yet talking about what could have been done to avert this hunger... afterall we all hated PDP and their level of looting the country, now we have someone restricting the flow of illict funds which we were used to in the past, and we are still complaining... What we are witnessing today would still have happened in a matter of years, But lets remain steadfast... Its time to launch your entrepreneurship skills. Our country was not prepared to deal with farming... Our politicians lavished our wealth instead of investing in infrastructure... British Govt seized £60m from James Ibori... That could have built 15 factories in the Niger Delta.... |
Some fellow Nairalanders have emailed me privately to express their anger over my support for the restoration of sanity back to our country by PMB's regime. Now a particular nairalander asked for my views on Fulani Herdsmen, I will like to state this quite clear that whoever kills their neighbour, friend, countryman/woman, farmers or any innocent victim should be classed as a terrorist. We have experienced religious wars, fulani herdsmen raiding villages and many other heinous crimes. It makes one wonder whether creating Nigeria itself was a crime. The answer to this question is no. It is the failure of the elites who failed to make education compulsory, most especially in the north that has caused this problem we have today.. Uneducated parents, Uneducated children roaming up and down the country and their only knowledge is what their parents taught them. Its easy to blame the next door neighbour for your problems. The solution to these crises is education, and government intervention in creating necessary infrastructure for the grazing of cows. Lets not forget that raising cows is cultural to the Fulanis, and not just a form of living... However they've been indoctrinated to kill, destroy and take over lands from their neighbours... These doctrines are as a result of lack of education combined with extremism.... The fight we have is against extremism and our government must do more to highlight this... Lets not forget that we also have extremism in the south... We have the Niger Delta Militants who are responsible for alot of kidnapping and murder of their own.... So what are we doing about that.... I believe if we fight the internal terrorist by supporting the governments war against indiscipline, that will be a step forward. secondly, don't rely on the government to save you... Protect yourself too.... if a thief is going to come to your house and kill your family, then rape your wife, would you let that happen?? Then why let terrorists masquerading as herdsmen harm and maim you.... We must be careful not to generalise an entire culture... Rather we have terrorist groups who have infiltrated genuine herdsmen, they are the ones causing chaos.... Lets remain vigilant.... God Bless Nigeria |
Milonis:Looking at the angles of this administration, PMB seems to focus on the root of our problems.. GEJ was a great president, he had visions for Nigeria, but the party that brought him to power held him at his jugular, hence why he could not take on the dragons that has been wrecking our country... Delta State and Bayelsa State under the administration of the Ibori clan & PDP received more than N700bn, but it remains the hotbed of militancy, and youths look up to Tompolo as a role model?? This is insanity, Tompolo is a terrorist and we are busy shielding him and giving him publicity and youths adore him?? This is madness..... What do we embrace?? Peace, Unity, Hard work, Honesty?? or Criminality, Dishonesty, Fraud, 419?? The Holy Bible states, "RIGHTEOUSNESS EXHAULTS A NATION AND SIN IS A REPROACH.." |
After a heartfelt thought, I have decided to review some of the recent policies put in place by PMB.... Until we get it right in Nigeria, we may only live in fantasy until the day of reckoning comes. Firstly, lets analyse the Nigerian Society, and compare it to other world class developed societies, and we will see what baba is trying to fix. there is never a surgery without pain, there is never greatness without struggle.. All we need to do now is see what is ahead in the future and persevere. Baba has blocked most of the avenues our scare resources were being wasted, clamped down on corrupt politicians who use their media outlets to blackmail the Nigerian govt, restricted the flow of currency in and out of the country and enforcing discipline among our citizens.. In the past these norms have been shunned, because the average Nigerian wants to live a life of luxury without any real plans on how to achieve that goal. Our politicians have destroyed our society with money, we have questionable characters in govt because of these lapses. From henceforth, I believe integrity will be the norm. Bukola Saraki is the worst form of human to head our Senate... and we all act like these people are our messiahs. The youths needs to open the eye... Our problem right now is not the Hardship in the country, but is the lack of understanding of what an ideal society should be like. If the UK were to allow their country to become like us, I'm sure there will never be a country like UK, hence why they put visa restrictions on us. Look at Dubai, and other countries...Some Lazy Nigerians who call themselves militants that hate to do any hard labour love criminality and easy money, while blowing up pipelines in the name of NDA... Is this not Madness?? Are they the only unemployed youths in the country? Why are we embracing these norms, shouldn't we be joining forces to advocate our cause? Why destroy our country with our own hands, pollute our environment and blame it on marginalisation, and then the media owned by corrupt politicians is sympathetic to them out of fear... Lets get it right, Nigeria can never be great until we change our mentality, until we change our approach to life, until we change our values and what we stand for.. Its time to wake up and take our country serious... Some may say Nigeria is not worth dying for, but I will say, Do your part and change your surroundings... Baba can only do his best to enforce discipline, order and sanity to our system and not every one of his decisions will be 100% accurate... from now on, I AM PLEDGING TO SUPPORT ANY IDEOLOGIES THAT WILL RESTORE SANITY TO OUR COUNTRY!!!! Enough of the Lousiness ..... and by the way I am from Niger Delta.... |

shamecurls:Take a look at the current exchange rate from 1 year ago. What do you call it? |
Shouldn't the country be encouraging more forex transfers? Another deadbeat from our so called apprentices handling the economy.... These morons need to ask George Osborne for a tip on how to stabilise an economy.... If this move was so good wouldn't other countries impliment it?? This makes me believe someone somewhere is making Billions extra in their greedy pockets... If this move backfires it can harm the economy that is already dead... |
Firstly I want to use this opportunity to denounce abuse at work place and denounce all managers who do this to their staff... In all situations you must choose your integrity over money.. You work over time and sacrifice yourself for the success of this business and if a slap is what you get in return, I will advice you to calmly find a better job and walk away.... We must learn to treat each other with respect regardless of their respective position... |
blueseacats:Paying tithe is a biblical principle. Did they force you to? So why are you criticising what you know nothing about?? |
Even the Devil Goes to Church... The question should be, Can a Christian Make Heaven without accepting Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour? and the answer to that is NO... The reason we should go to church is to learn more on the love of God and fellowship with Believers.. Find a spirit filled church, a church where they truly preach about Jesus... |
I would like to contribute to this topic to give some guidelines on how to live a righteous life... here are the 3 steps.... Accept Jesus Christ as Your Lord and Your Saviour Confess your sins to him in all honesty, because God hears you In your prayers, tell the father that you totally surrender to Him, your will and your desires Ask Him (Jesus) to fill you with his Holy Spirit.. We are able to live a righteous life through the help of the Holy Spirit. It is possible and we are able to enjoy a relationship with God when we live a pure life. |
rexericx:We have no ties to YDP... they are a political party... Our ideology goes beyond that of a regular registered political party.... |
Fellow Comrades, Since the launch of YDM in 2012, we have remained steadfast in working towards a greater and successful country. This is a short message to inform every member that we will be launching our online campaign to spread the awareness of the movement to all new members and to all those who are interested in taking part in this movement. We plan to relaunch our website with membership application Online. For now, you can find us on Facebook ( Youth Democratic Movement). Thanks for taking your time to read through this notice. God Bless YDM God Bless Nigeria.
|
rexericx:Firstly, email your credentials to YDM@diplomats.com and also state what skills you have and how you intend to grow the ideology if the movement.. secondly find us on Facebook and stay connected (Youth Democratic Movement).. More info will be shared by that page very soon. |
As a matter of fact I will advice all members of YDM not to be fooled by any organisation that claims to represent us.... Our goal is different |
ipledge10:I control the official Facebook account. We are working with some great minds to establish the movement on a global scale. My previous ID was (GREAT1) after the launch of the movement, I had some squabbles with the MOD for not taking YDM to front page and in protest I shut down my moniker. |
4wrd9ja:Any politician who bows the might of corruption should be avoided like a plague |
ipledge10:We are still available very much and we share same ideology since we launched our campaign to get PDP removed from office. And we will continue in our fight to restore dignity to our nation and support the fight against corruption and injustice... YDM remails a movement and we will continue to abstain from partisan politics until our ideology becomes materialised. |
I have always made it clear that we shall take over. In the event of merging this party with the ideology of Youth Democratic Movement (YDM) would be a foundation for solving the issue of recycled politician. Let's take it to the next level. |
Pls mod move this to front page. Thanks OP for your honest gesture |
