People think Edo State in Nigeria is the home of YahooYahoo and local fraud but it is really Niger State.

Tunde Onakoya is doing something similar with the Chess in Slums project - something that helps young Yoruba kids to see and conceive of a world greater than the poor neighbourhood they have lived in all their lives.

Expanding the imagination of children in the southwest is key!

It tells me that first of all, I may habe never truly known or understood "my people." We were born in the same city and we speak the same Yoruba and English, but we might as well have come from different planets.

Last night, I saw a video by @Fosudo that expanded my mind and made me understand why the political situation of southwestern Nigeria is where it's at.

It was a Mr Beast-style transformation of a family's home in Mushin which looked like this.
