The Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) has slashed down charges on electronic bank transfer for account holders across the country.

Full details of the new charges are comprised in the new Guide to charges by Banks and other Financial Institutions released by the CBN on Sunday.

According to CBN, the withdrawal fee charges for the use of other banks' Automated Teller Machines has been reduced to N35 from N65. The new N35 ATM fee is to be imposed on customers after the third withdrawal within one month.

CBN also disclosed further that bank customers will now be charged N10 for electronic transfers below N5,000 and N25 for electronic transfer between N5,000 and N50,000. It's only electronic transfer above N50,000 that will attract N50 charge.

The new guide also confirmed the removal of Card Maintenance Fee (CAMF) on all cards linked to current accounts, a maximum of one Naira per million for customer induced debit transactions to third parties and transfers or lodgments to the customers’ account in other banks on current accounts only.

This CAMF removal is not applicable to savings account

On credit and debit card charges, the CBN placed the charges at N1,000 one-off charge, adding that the same charge applies irrespective of card type – regular or premium card. For replacement and renewal, the same charge applies irrespective of the card type, the CBN added.

CBN also pointed out that SMS alert is compulsory but a customer may choose not to receive SMS. “However,” the new guide said, “where a customer opts not to receive SMS alert, the customer should issue an indemnity (for losses that may arise as a result) to the bank.”

For reactivation and closure of accounts, whether savings, current or domiciliary, the CBN said that there would be no charge. Furthermore, there is no charge for mandatory monthly issuance of statement of account on current and savings accounts. However, for special request for statement of account, including request in a manner other than agreed on mandatory issuance, there is a maximum charge of N20 per page.

The CBN revealed also that for cards linked to savings account, the maintenance fee has been reduced to a maximum of N50 per quarter from N50 per month amounting to only N200 per annum instead of N600. Furthermore, status enquiry at the request of the customer (like confirmation letter, letter of non-indebtedness and reference letter) will now attract a fee of N500 per request.

The CBN said it reviewed the Guide, in order to align with market developments.
A penalty of N2,000,000 per infraction or as may be determined by the CBN from time to time for financial institutions that breach any provision of the guide was also stipulated in the new Guide. This, the apex bank said, is put in place to guard against excess, unapproved or arbitrary charges by banks and other financial and non-bank institutions.

Failure by any bank to comply with CBN’s directive in respect of any infraction shall attract a further penalty of N2,000,000 daily until the directive is complied with or as may be determined by the CBN from time to time, the guide stated.

To ensure compliance, the CBN directed banks to log every complaint received from their customers into the Consumer Complaints Management System (CCMS) in addition to generating a unique reference code for each complaint lodged, which must be given to the customer. Failure to log and provide the code to the customer amounts to a breach and is sanctionable with a penalty of N1,000,000 per breach.

It may however be reviewed from time to time to reflect changes in the business environment, the CBN said, while imploring financial services providers and their customers to acquaint themselves with the provisions of the Guide and be properly guided accordingly.

The new charges by banks take effect from January 1, 2020.

Like I said earlier construction of brand identity is like constructing the foundation level of a building, the poor foundation put the building into the risk of collapse so also is poor branding puts your business at risk.

The fastest charging, a very smooth display, clean and smooth software, metal sharpness. All these and more make the OnePlus really a great phone.

Pixel 4 XL: Nothing can be pointed to as great on the Pixel 4 but with the Pixel 4 XL, it’s something more than great because to me it’s an ecosystem. As boring look the phone may seem, what I love in the Pixel line is the Google experience from software to the camera. If you just want the Google experience feel then Pixel is the choice and it gots one of the best cameras.

Well, other great phones would have been listed but these are the three I can surely recommend to those looking for a great phone today. From OnePlus, Samsung and Google, those are the best take right now and I don’t see that changing anytime soon.

As the spirit lead me this morning this my piece goes to all the LUCKY single guys out there. I make use of the word "LUCKY" because you still have the time to choose right.

But it's not just finding a wife, which is why I love how the amplified version stated it:
"He who finds a [true and faithful] wife finds a good thing And obtains favor and approval from the LORD.

A wise man once said: " Behind every successful man, there is a GOOD wife".

Before you walk that beautiful lady down the aisle let us quickly look at these few points:

1) I'm I choosing this lady because of the beauty she portrayed - If a YES answer pop into your mind then you are making a very big mistake. Because character and beauty are two different things. A lady can be good looking and also have a very good character but thinking a lady will have a good character because she is good looking is not correct. So as u are observing the outward beauty appearance also take your time to study the character as well.

If you notice a glitch in her character, before you decide and conclude you can change it as I know that no one is perfect, but do make sure it's something you can actually live with for years before you actually change it. Because if you marry the lady at the age of 28 years for example that mean the lady has been living with this bad character for more than 20 years so it's not possible for you to change it after 2 to 3 years of marriage.
And if you think it's something really bad and you can't even live with it, well my advice is FLEE.

2) I'm I choosing this lady because I meet her in church - If that is the reason you think she is a good wife, you are making a very big mistake because it's not everyone that goes to church that is a Christian. Some ignorant men will even said I love that lady because of her voice, the way she sing ... I laughed because the devil also have a good voice in fact the Bible said the devil was once the head of the choir while still in heaven.

3) This third point is very sensitive...Did you looked at the tribe you want to marry from very well. Is she from the tribe you can marry from?
Though I'm not always in support of tribalism when it comes to marriage but the story of Samson in the Bible got me thinking. (Judges 14:3) Samson parents told him not to marry from the Philistines but he was adamant and this lead to his destruction. So at times tribalism is very important when it comes to marriage.

A lot of point I actually want to list out but I'm kinda out of ink... I will continue when I get new pen.

With the little ink left my advice is:
Before you finally make up your mind to walk that wonderful lady down the aisle - Pray and allow God lead you. Take your time to patiently study her character. I'm not in support with the believe that someone is destined to be your wife from heaven or someone is your wife from heaven when she is not a spiritual wife...smile
Any lady can be your wife so far she is compatible with you and your vision are thesame.

Finally do make sure you know the reason she also want to marry you because it's very important...if she wants to marry you today because you are rich and meeting all her needs what will happen when things God forbidden change a little for you.
How will you know the reason she wants to marry you... that's a topic for another day.

I was inspired by this and it drives into my mind these few points of how to be successful.
Millions of youth out there make very big mistakes by thinking that to become successful, go to school, bang the first degree and bum get a good job and become successful... Well this is wrong to some extent anyway.

How to become successful:
1) Find that thing you are so passionate on.
2) Go into it no matter how crazy the idea may be to the world right now.
3) Put in all your efforts and channel all your energy towards it.
4) Don't give up and never make money or profit your utmost priority.

With these few points of mine I'm very sure one day that your 'kobo Idea' will become a 'Multinational Brand'

Our life is ruled by two world:
The world within and the world without.
The world within is controlled and govern by our mind and the world without is the manifestation of the world within.
The world within and the world without are linked and channeled together by what is called [b][/b]LAW OF ATTRACTION. It is this Law of attraction that is responsible for how anything achieved in the world within comes into manifestation in the physical realm which is the world without.

The energy that the this world within absorb is of two types : POSITIVE ENERGY which is positive thinking and NEGATIVE ENERGY which is negative thinking.

Before anything can be achieved in this physical realm which is the world without one must first achieve this things in its world within.
If your desire this year is traveling abroad for example, you have to picture it in your mind that you are already in abroad and back it up with positive thoughts by doing so as you have imagine it in your would within it will come into manifestation in your world without.

Let me give you an example of an artist trying to create an art, the artist will first have the imagination of what he / she is trying to achieve in is mind before he / she will now use the imagination created to project the art in the physical realm. The artist also unconsciously make use of the world within.

There is this saying that we must "be" before we can "do," and we can "do" only to the extent which we "are," and what we "are" depends upon what we "think." This simply mean that your thinking habit or what you think of yourself be it positive or negative determine what you end up becoming.

So always backup anything you want to achieve this year with positive thinking.
Rule out every negative thoughts.
Affirm into ur life positive affirmations like I'm successful, I'm wealthy, I will achieve this goals. With this nothing is gonna hinder you from achieving anything this year.
