Carrotsuite Global Limited needs a qualified Front-end developer with practical knowledge of html/css/jquery to join our IT team.
This is a remote role.

You should have motivated to combine the art of design with the art of programming. You will be responsible for building client-side web components. You should be able to understand our customer needs into functional and appealing interactive applications.

Front-end developers should be able to transform the UI/UX design wireframes or prototypes to code and represent the visual part of the application or website.
Also, work very closely with the backend development team to plug in all APIs produced to the frontend.
Ensure high performance and consistency of UI across all the platforms.

Responsibilities

- Delivering high quality and a complete front-end application with responsive design.
- Produce a reusable code library for future implementation and reference.
- Ensuring high performance on mobile and desktop.
- Writing tested, idiomatic, and documented JavaScript, HTML, and CSS code.
- Coordinate with the back-end developers to plug in the RESTful APIs already produced.
- Communicating with external web services.
- Create quality prototypes for a much clear understanding.

Requirements

- Good hands-on web markup, including HTML5, and CSS3.
- Practical knowledge of Jquery
- Brief knowledge of LESS and SASS kinds of server-side CSS pre-processing platforms.
- Knowledge of SQL will be an advantage.
- Strong Logical Thinking as well as creative thinking.
- Working Knowledge of React javascript libraries and frameworks
- Able to work with code versioning tools such as BitBucket
- Knowledge of how to interact with RESTful APIs and formats such as JSON, XML.

- Advise our developers on new features to implement and methodology of implementation.
- Represent a professional image in dealings with internal and external parties at all times

REQUIREMENTS

- Be self driven, you should be able to set daily, weekly, monthly targets for yourself and report on implementations.
- Hands-on experience with accounting software like Sage, FreshBooks and/or QuickBooks
- Great MS Excel skills
- Accounting knowledge is a big plus
- Great knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures, including the Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and IFRS
- Experience with general ledger functions
‐ Strong attention to detail and good analytical skills
- Additional accounting certification is a plus
- Good training instructor
