Yesterday i quit my job.
I heard stories about how former employees before me, stole from the company. Even the last person i met there stole hundreds of thousands and was sacked 3 weeks after i joined.
I was hardworking , honest, punctual, polite and hands on the best worker.

I was made employee of the month , a month after i joined and guess how much i was given as reward? #250!

After i requested permission to travel to the East for a close Aunt's burial for a week and 2 days, i was permitted yet Half of my salary for last month was still deducted and that's why i quit.
After the way i served and upheld this company and even worked overtime most times and always get home very late at night.
It is well.. i know God and life has better

While China claims ownership of the strait (same way it claims ownership of almost all of the south china sea), the US has always stated that the Taiwan strait and most of the SCS that china claims as it's own are international waters. This is why the US regularly flies fighter jets and sails warships through the Taiwan strait to buttress to china that the Taiwan strait and most of the SCS are international waters. A country can't claim an expansive body of water because it bothers the sea. The Taiwan strait connects the south china sea to the east china sea making it one of the busiest trading route in the world. The US and other right thinking nations will never allow China to claim all of the Taiwan strait and most of the SCS as it's own! Never!

Me: Lol. You don't even know what you are saying. what defines an independent/Sovereign state? Taiwan governs it's own affairs, elect it's own leaders, have a standing military, have it's own currency. List the characteristics of an independent/sovereogn nation and tell me the one Taiwan lacks.

US still maintains a policy of "strategic ambiquity" as it relates to Taiwan.

So, your statement that the US interest for an independent, Sovereign Taiwan doesn't even make sense.

You: China has made dollars of investment in Africa and Asia.

Me: China hasn't done half of what the US has done in this aspect. It's even possible that you have been a beneficiary of US aid to Nigeria. The US is the biggest single donor to agencies like UNICEF, WHO etc. There are several USAID projects in Nigeria and all over Africa.

If you knew your history too well, you would have known that the US interest on Taiwan didn't start today. Go back and read the Chinese civil war and the role the US played. You can also read about the first, second and third Taiwan crisis. All these occured at a point Taiwan has not become a chip manufacturing powerhouse. That chip is the reason the US is backing Taiwan is laughable.

You are the one to pull your head out of the butthole of Chinese imperialists.

Side note: Same Sri Lanka you mentioned handed over it's port to China when it couldn't repay it's loan. China is doing debt diplomacy to trap nations. Don't worry, Nigeria will relinquish some of it's national assets to China in the nearest future when all the loans Buhari is currently borrowing from China can't be repaid.

US will never allow China take over Taiwan. If China take over Taiwan, they automatically control the pacific which accounts for major trade routes in Asia and a dent to US economy. Imagine what will happen if China close that route? It means end of business to US. Taiwan is not Ukraine!

Cheap labour cab easily be replace..
Countries like Vietnam the Philippines, India, Thailand could easily replace the cheap labour..
But can China replace the western market which amounts to 70% of its total trade?
