Phones / What You Must Do In Order To Be Enjoy Glo 100% Data And Not Half by Techvillz(m): 2:44pm On May 28, 2017
Last weekend, grand masters of data which is GLO NG decided to take everyone by surprise and removing 50% off every data bundle allocation in their data plan. Many Nigerians didn't take it well as usual, as having a bad economy and increased price of market goods and services is already enough to deal with. Therefore having increased rate of data bundle isn't welcomed.

According to what I was able to gather, there is really nothing much that was changed in the Glo data bundles. The amount of data are still the same and unchanged, they were just given a little touch and then some new terms were placed on them, which anyone that wishes to still enjoy GLO NG's huge data must adhere to.

Follow the link below to read the article in full and see the conditions you must meet so as to be getting your double data. Also, drop any questions and comments you have via the kink below and not on NRLND

Phones / How You Can Get 2 Different Ringtones On One Sim In Your Phone by Techvillz(m): 10:56pm On May 02, 2017
This may sound impossible now because most android phones in the market use one song at a time for ringtones. But if you think back to the era of Nokia Asha and other China made phones, dual sim phone had an option that lets users set different ringtones for their different sim cards. Sim 1 has a different song as its ringtone as well as sim 2. and they both worked perfectly without any issues. Now with your Android, with the use of an Android app, you can seamlessly achieve the same goal. Just read on below to see how.

Phones / Blackberry Aurora - First Blackberry Dual Sim Phone by Techvillz(m): 4:03pm On Mar 10, 2017
When http://www.techvillz.com/2016/10/tecno-mobile-to-open-manufacturing.htmlTecno and mostly some of the Chinese phone producers started developing dual sim phones, many people thought their phones were inferior, because it had dual sim support, and frankly they couldn't be wrong. But as time went by, it got improved, became better and even stronger. Now many many phone manufacturing companies won't produce any smartphone without dual sim support.

After a while, Samsung joined the trend and made Galaxy duo, then after, Nokia X and Nokia XL came. Today, most or even all the smartphones that are being produced are all dual sim phones. And now, BlackBerry after losing all their glory is finally on their way to regaining it back by giving the people a dual sim BlackBerry phone that runs off a 3000mAh battery.

BlackBerry Aurora is the name and is going to be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 SoC with cool 4GB RAM size and a 32GB of expandable internal storage. Besides the dual sim support, it is going to be a 4G/LTE phone, with WiFi, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS, A-GPS, micro USB full connectivity.
The full HD pictures taken by the 13-megapixel sharp shooter and 8-megapixel situated at the front are going to be displayed on a 5.5inch On-cell display that carries support for HD resolution of 720 x 1,280 pixels. Blackberry Aurora is going to boot the official Android 7.0 Nougat OS and comes preloaded with some BlackBerry suites like BlackBerry Hub (an application that lets users access and respond to emails, text messages, and social network activity), and DTEKTM for extra layer of security with no support for fingerprint sensor

Phones / Airtel Is Givingaway Free Weekend Data Plans To Their Customers by Techvillz(m): 9:06am On Mar 03, 2017
Airtel NG just unveiled a free weekend plan to their customers which are usable only from only at 12 am on Saturday till Sunday 11:59 PM". I do not know what to call this yet, but I do hope that it won't be like the other weekend plan of 1Gb for 100 that was eligible to only a few customers.

According to Airtel NG, the free data can be used on any internet enabled devices such as Android, iPhone, iOS and Windows Mobile and Pc. Secondly, it does not require any particular kind of configuration settings or neither does it need a VPN. It can be used only on weekends, from (Saturday and Sunday) Starting from 12am Saturday morning till Sunday 11:59 pm and is valid for 1 Month."

Get the code.. kindly visit http://www.techvillz.com/2017/03/airtel-free-weekend-data.html

Nairaland / General / Xenophonia: Send MTN And DSTV Back Where They Came From by Techvillz(m): 10:00pm On Mar 01, 2017
Senator Olusola Adeyeye, chief whip of the senate house while expressing his feelings said with the increasing rate of xenophobic attacks in South Africa, the time might have come for Nigeria to send South African owned companies, (MTN and DSTV), parking. According to Senator Adeyeye, it is not a crime for Nigerians to go to South Africa and succeed as South Africans and their companies are in Nigeria making three times of what Nigerians might be making in South Africa.

"The largest University in South Africa had an open interview for its Vice Chancellor in 1996. A Nigerian came first and as given the job. Is it a crime to excel to the extent that in an open interview that was televised? At the same time, two other Nigerians were Vice Chancellors in South African Universities.

I can understand how this might brew animosity and resentment but let us remind South Africa that the most prosperous Nations of the world are the ones who open their arms, doors, and hearts to talents from all over the world. Let us remind South Africans that for every penny a Nigerian makes in South Africa, South Africans are making multiples of that in Nigeria. MTN belongs to South Africa.

Maybe South Africa would force Nigeria to send MTN going. DSTV belongs to South Africa. Maybe we can now put pressure for DSTV to go. After all, many times, MTN would drop your line

What do you think will happen if this issue isn't resolved and things get worse? Imagine MTN and DSTV stop functioning in Nigeria, what do you think will happen?
