Guynexttdoor: During the period of your 12 months training at least your salary should be between 100 to 150k, with no bonus but free drinks, then after being confirmed that's when you will be paid well both bonuses, shift allowances maybe up to 250 or 300, i guess as you grow with them both job grade and salary increases. I don’t think so As you enter salary starts at 300-350k |

You guys relax, I don’t think Ugo meant any harm, I was even going to open a WhatsApp group because I felt it’d be more interactive
I second the idea though. There might be lurkers and guests without an NL account that might want to contribute. This thread is too dry as it is.
And who says we can’t share info here and on a group? |

tomrayjoe: Very odd method of screening. Imagine you have to call 1000+ persons to ask if they have master degree/NYSC or not. Wonder how they would get a right info or be 100% accurate. It’s baffling, especially with the fact that we’ve already given this info on our profiles. Even if they want to scrap candidates without msc, they should already have that info on their database and should be able to make their decision based on that. They seem disorganized |

LivingADream: I have a question for nairalanders.
How can a Nigerian business startup who doesn't have financially strong friends and family to turn to, raise fund for a business idea?
I have been struggling to raise some money to invest in a business idea without any success yet.
Thank you for your honest and helpful answers.
PS;
No substantial savings and no collaterals. I was about to open a thread on this asking for start ups seeking funds to reach out to me. I know an angel investor who’s seriously looking to invest in startups, especially those based in the tech industry. Send me an email so we can discuss further |
