Armoured tanks and security operatives were on Thursday morning, seen packed at the Lagos High Court in the Ikeja area of Lagos, as notorious kidnapper, Evans arrives in court for his trial. All appears set for the continuation of trial of billionaire kidnapper, Chukwudumeme Onwuamadike, popularly called Evans at Lagos High Court, Ikeja, Lagos, on Thursday. According to Daily Sun, Evans and five others were brought to court this morning in hand-cuffs. Though, unlike the day of his arraignment when heavy security men were highly visible within and around the court premises, only two armoured tanks were packed, each, at the two entrances to the court. Policemen were also stationed in various corners leading to Justice Oshodi’s court where the trial will take place. This is a developing story, we will bring you more details later… Source – Daily Sun |

NCP:. .. But to you, is he a LEGEND? |
https://www.informationng.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/03/wizkid.jpg This question pops up almost every time, some agree that he is a legend while some are insisting he is not yet a legend. According to the English dictionary, a LEGEND is someone who is extremely famous in a particular field. A legend is also someone who has achieved fame as a result of his/her skills. Following these two definitions, can we say Wizkid is a legend? For the past 5 years, no Nigerian artiste has put Nigeria on the world radar like Wizkid has done within this short period of time. In 2016, he achieved international recognition following his collaboration with Drake on “One Dance” which was a global hit reaching number one in almost 15 countries. With the same “One Dance”, he also became first Nigerian artiste to emerge on Billboard’s Twitter real-time chart. The song reached number 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart and held the spots for weeks. Wizkid has a lot of accolades to his name, he has songs with artistes that most Nigerian artistes are dreaming to have song with. Wizkid has broken boundaries which Nigerian artistes have tried but failed during the process. Year 2016, he earned his first-ever Grammy Award nomination. In 2017, Wizkid released his third studio album ‘Sounds From The Other Side (SFTOS)’ which he described as EP. The album features guest appearances from the likes of Drake, TY Dolla Sign, Trey Sogz, Chris Brown and more. The Album debuted at number 2 on the Billboard World Album chart, 107 on the Billboard 200 chart and 58 on Canadian albums chart. Wizkid broke record of being the first African Artist to be nominated for the Billboards Awards with seven nominations, he later won three. Wizkid emerged the first Afro-pop artiste to appear in the Guiness Book Of World Record. His major hit, Ojuelegba released on September 17th 2014 remains one of the biggest songs out of the African continent. He was recently named as the most-streamed African artist ever! Few days ago, Wizkid was all over the news for breaking yet another record. On September 29, 2017, Wizkid became the first African artiste to sell out the Royal Albert Hall as the headliner joining The Beatles on the headliner list. The concert had sold out tickets two days before the concert. He shut down the prestigious hall with over 5000 audience in attendance. After watching the concert on youtube, I came into conclusion that Nigerian artiste needs to learn live performance from Wizkid. His concert was a true performance, no lip-syncing, no shouting and jumping around, no unnecessary use of hypeman and yet he shut down the concert. Only great artistes can pull that and wizkid has joined the list. Though I believe legends are those who lay foundations, those that have things they can be remembered for, however, a 27-year-old Wizkid achieving all these deserves to be called a LEGEND. -Written By Kuti Ibukunoluwa @therealibk http://spyloadedng.com/index.php?topic=10056.0 --END-- |
On Friday night, BET filmed their annual Hip-Hop Award Show in Miami, Florida, before officially airing it on television this Tuesday, October 10th. While we’ll have to wait and see the performance & cyphers, xxxT. did get a glimpse at some of our favorite artists walking onto the red carpet as photos started surfacing online Friday night. Many artists & rappers were decked to the nine looking dapper, including Dave East, Migos, DJ Khaled, Lil Yachty, Cardi B, & others, but it was Florida’s own XXXTentacion who appears to have made the loudest statement. https://guardian.ng/wp-content/uploads/2017/10/Screenshot-from-2017-10-07-11-57-03-e1507375515230.png https://pbs.twimg.com/media/DLgURicUEAAV0lI.jpg https://guardian.ng/wp-content/uploads/2017/10/Screenshot-from-2017-10-07-11-57-10.png https://guardian.ng/wp-content/uploads/2017/10/Screenshot-from-2017-10-07-11-57-07.png https://guardian.ng/wp-content/uploads/2017/10/Screenshot-from-2017-10-07-11-57-06.png https://guardian.ng/wp-content/uploads/2017/10/Screenshot-from-2017-10-07-11-57-02.png https://guardian.ng/wp-content/uploads/2017/10/Screenshot-from-2017-10-07-11-55-59.png https://guardian.ng/wp-content/uploads/2017/10/Screenshot-from-2017-10-07-11-55-57.png http://spyloadedng.com/index.php?topic=10044.0 |

Yelawolf connects with Travis Barker and Juicy J to release the video to the single titled “Punk.” The track was produced by Yelawolf himself and it wasn’t as easy as he expected. “Producing this record was a head trip,” said Yelawolf of the new song. “There are so many talented artists on the song, Travis Barker, Juicy J, Flea on bass, Chance McCoy on fiddle, DJ Klever and Bones Owens all came together to make this crazy ass song. I don’t even know how it happened; I’m just rolling with the madness.” Watch below https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RaRFKhtb8hA http://spyloadedng.com/index.php?topic=10024.0 |

https://pbs.twimg.com/media/DK1ZUruWAAAz6i2.jpg Carlo Ancelotti has said it was “a great honour” to be part of Bayern Munich’s history, after he was sacked as manager on Thursday. “It has been a great honour to form part of Bayern’s history. I would like to thank the Club, the Players and it’s amazing fans. #MiaSanMia,” he wrote on Twitter. Ancelotti was dismissed a day after the German champions were hammered 3-0 by Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League. The former Chelsea and Real Madrid coach, only joined Bayern last season and won the Bundesliga title in his debut campaign. He also led the team to the quarter-finals of the 2016/17 Champions League, where they were eliminated by eventual winners, Real Madrid. Fayose, in a series of tweets on Thursday night, was reacting to the arrest of Toyin Ojo, his Commissioner for Finance. https://pbs.twimg.com/media/DK0FAT-WkAAn9d1.jpg Bayern Munich have sacked Carlo Ancelotti after Wednesday’s 3-0 defeat to Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League. Following Wednesday’s 3-0 Champions League defeat by Paris St-Germain, Bayern Munich Football Club’s board has sacked its Italian manager, Carlo Ancelotti who replaced Pep Guardiola at the start of last season. The club’s chief executive, Karl-Heinz Rummenigge, said; “The performance of our team since the start of the season did not meet the expectations we put on them. “The game in Paris clearly showed that we had to draw consequences. [Sporting director] Hasan Salihamidzic and I had an open and serious discussion with Carlo today and informed him of our decision. “I would like to thank Carlo for his cooperation and regret what has happened. Carlo is my friend and will remain so, but we had to make a professional decision for the benefit of FC Bayern. I now expect the team to have a positive development and absolute performance, so we can reach our goals for this season.” 58-year-old Ancelotti, helped Bayern win the Bundesliga last term, but they only reached the last eight of the Champions League and the semi-finals of the German Cup. https://twitter.com/BBCSport/status/913401960530944000/photo/1 Source: http://spyloadedng.com/?topic=9946.0 |

Facebook Founder Mark Zukerberg meet with Delaware Emergency Management Agency (DEMA) HQ To discuss about disasters, according to what he share on his time line.. I spent today in Delaware discussing emergency response for natural disasters like the hurricanes, floods, and earthquakes we've seen recently. Disaster response is an area where Facebook is in a unique position to help keep our community safe. We've built three important tools that are used widely in disasters: 1. Safety Check. This asks people in a disaster area if they're safe, and then notifies their friends and family immediately. When someone you care about is potentially in danger, the first thing you want to know is that they're safe. This uses our location data and network to do this. In the last few years, it has notified people more than 2 billion times that people they care about are safe. 2. Community Help. This matches volunteers who can supply food, shelter, or other resources with people in a disaster area who need help. We just launched this and we'll add more ways for people to volunteer and help over time. 3. Fundraising Tools. This enables anyone on Facebook to raise money for non-profits simply by posting and tagging organizations. After Hurricane Harvey, members of our community raised more than $17 million for relief on Facebook. That's one of the fundraising efforts for relief in history. On this trip, I stopped by the Delaware Emergency Management Agency (DEMA) HQ and discussed ways we could coordinate better with Governor Carney and members of their team. I also met with academics studying disaster response and leaders of local non-profits. They shared interesting research around how regular members of communities often have more capacity to provide relief efforts than the formal relief organizations. For example, they told me about the Cajun Navy -- an informal group from the Louisiana Bayous who got on their motor boats after Harvey flooded Houston and started rescuing people in the flooded streets of Houston. They told me how after 9/11 in New York City, a makeshift armada of civilian boats -- motor boats, dinner cruise ships, yachts, etc -- helped people get off Manhattan and in many cases get back home to New Jersey or other places. These stories make it clear there's even more we can do to help our community work together in disasters to keep us all safe. This is historically work that only governments and non-profits would do, but we're in a new world and there is an important role for internet communities to help here too. http://spyloadedng.com/?topic=9921.0 |

https://guardian.ng/wp-content/uploads/2017/09/Neymar-1.jpg Brazil superstar Neymar earns just over three million euros a month at Paris Saint-Germain, according to German magazine Der Spiegel. The magazine, using Football Leaks as a source, claims the 25-year-old Neymar, who cost PSG 222 million euros ($265m) from Barcelona, earns 36.8 million euros per year — a monthly salary of exactly 3,069,520 euros. The Spiegel claims Neymar earned 54 million euros at Barcelona last season, 8.5 million more than Lionel Messi, considered one of the world’s best — and highest paid — players alongside Real Madrid’s Cristiano Ronaldo. http://spyloadedng.com/?topic=9908 |
https://18407-presscdn-0-14-pagely.netdna-ssl.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/09/MEXICO-RESCUE-702x420.jpg A new earthquake has sowed panic in Mexico City , forcing a brief pause in rescue operations to free survivors from the more powerful tremor this week that devastated parts of the capital. The latest quake, with a magnitude of 6.1, was smaller and further south than the 7.1-magnitude one that struck on Tuesday, killing more than 300 people and toppling 39 buildings in the capital. As an alarm sounded, hundreds of startled residents raced out into the street, some barefoot, some carrying children. Two women died of heart attacks as they tried to leave their homes, according to local media reports. One was in her 80s and the other was 52, according to the website of the daily Reforma. Authorities said two people also died in the quake in the southern state of Oaxaca, where the epicenter was located.. https://18407-presscdn-0-14-pagely.netdna-ssl.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/09/MEXICO-RESCUE2-700x420.jpg A bridge collapsed near the town of Juchitan, Oaxaca, already hit hard by a September 7 quake that killed nearly 100 people. Some buildings with previous damage collapsed. In a jittery Mexico City, the quake made buildings sway, but some didn’t notice. This time, we didn’t feel the ground move… maybe since the last one we’re getting used to them,” said Pablo Martinez, who had run out of his apartment building with his six-year-old daughter in his arms. The new tremor sparked concern it could have caused heavy rubble on top of survivors awaiting rescue in the capital to shift — posing a danger both to those trapped and to rescuers. Rescue crews quickly evacuated five sites in the capital where they had been working. They hesitated for a couple of hours, discussing the added risk, before going back in to look for survivors. Mexico City’s mayor, Miguel Angel Mancera, told Televisa television that around “30 people may yet be able to be found in this search and rescue operation.” So far, 69 people have been pulled alive from the rubble in Mexico City, according to authorities. http://spyloadedng.com/?topic=9907.0 |
Jose Mourinho has paid credit to Manchester United’s ‘hard work’ after they edged past Southampton at St Mary’s yesterday. A solitary effort from Romelu Lukaku early in the contest was all that separated the two sides on the day, with Manchester United forced to fend off an increasingly-potent Saints attack in the closing stages. “It is not always possible to operate at high quality but fought hard,” he told reporters. “We did what many teams in the Premier League do for 90 minutes, which was play with five defenders at the back. “Credit to them, they tried to play. [Mauricio] Pellegrino changed the team and sent on a second striker to play more direct. It was a hard game but we fought really hard and I am really happy. http://spyloadedng.com/index.php?topic=9906.0 |
https://guardian.ng/wp-content/uploads/2017/08/Neymar-10-640x400.jpg PSG were without world-record signing Neymar due to a reported foot injury as their 100 per cent start to the Ligue 1 season ended with a 0-0 draw at Stade de la Mosson. Paris Saint-Germain were held to a 0-0 draw by Montpellier as the end of their 100 per cent Ligue 1 record coincided with Neymar’s absence.Marco Verratti does not believe Neymar’s absence was the reason Paris Saint-Germain failed to beat Montpellier, yesterday. Unai Emery’s side dominated possession, but managed just one shot on target and Verratti – restored to the starting line-up after serving a three-match ban – insisted the loss of the Brazilian was not behind their failure to triumph. Everyone thinks like that. It’s like Barcelona without (Lionel) Messi or Real Madrid without Cristiano Ronaldo – it is not because Neymar was not there that PSG hasn’t won,” Verratti told Canal. “We are a great team, even without him. It will just be a matter of turning words into action the next time the situation arises.”The Italy midfielder was adamant PSG played to the best of their abilities, but was keen to turn his focus to Wednesday’s Champions League clash with Bayern Munich in Paris. It was a tough game, there was not a lot of space,” said Verratti.“We played at 100 per cent. The concentration is there. We did not let Montpellier have a single shot. “It got harder to score the longer the time went on. We did have opportunities.“After six matchdays, it can happen that there is a difficult one. Now we have to think about the Champions League.” http://spyloadedng.com/index.php?topic=9905.0 |
