LiteratureSuper Story: Deep Sea Of Secrets by Teecash1409(op): 12:22am On Jul 27, 2018
Deep Sea of Secrets Episode 1

Nnamdi: My people I greet you all
Elders chorused: we greet you too.

Nnamdi: ‘you all know the reason for this meeting and I want to make it clear that on no account will I be accepting a woman who cheated on me not once, twice and neither is it thrice. I want you people, my elders to help me ask this woman’ pointing to his wife ‘who the father of the abominable children is and why did she hide it from me all these years. Why did she make me father three children that are not from my loins? Thank you’ he said and sat down close to his mother who patted him on his back.

First Elder: ‘Hmmm..Alu! Alu! What an abomination. Ifeoma our wife’ he said looking at her, you have heard all that your husband has said, now is the time to answer his questions before we the elders of Udi community. You do know that what you did is a grave offence in our land, don’t you?

Ifeoma: I do my elders.

First Elder: Then why did you do it? Why did you commit such an abomination?

Ifeoma kept mute.

Mama Nnamdi: is it not you the elders are asking questions or are you deaf that you cannot hear again?

Nnamdi: so you don’t want to answer the elders of our land abi?

Elders, you people should ask her ooo. look at me now, when I am supposed to be enjoying the fruit of my labor,I was going to take them on a surprise trip to the US when I found out that my children are actually not mine for a DNA was conducted on all three of my precious children. I am shattered my people.

Mama Nnamdi: I blame you, I blame you Nnamdi. When I told you to take a second wife you wouldn’t listen, now look at you and the situation this witch has put you through. Tell us oooo, tell us you witch! Tell us who the man you committed such an abomination with’ she said to Ifeoma.

Second Elder: Errmm Mama Nnamdi, take it easy on her, she will speak up. Turning to ifeoma who was standing in their middle said ‘My daughter, please speak up and tell us what we need to know. After everything, you will walk naked round the village three times, you will also have your bath in Udi river so that you can be cleansed of all your sins for that is the custom of our land. Please kindly speak up you hear?

Ifeoma still kept mute.

Nnamdi: you don’t want to talk abi? When you were busy committing the act I am very sure you were enjoying it without thinking that your secrets will finally come out. Don’t you know nothing stays hidden under the sun forever?

Third Elder: ifeoma my daughter, this is the third time we are calling you to spill out what you have done. If you do not say anything, we will go nowhere today and that place you are standing is where you will keep standing until you tell us all what we need to know.

Mama Nnamdi: how will she? when she is trying to protect her man, the man who committed such sins with her. You have heard all that our elders have said, me I have your time today and water or food will not be served to you until you spill out what we want to hear.

Nnamdi: ‘After you have finished confessing and doing all the cleansing, I want you to go and pack everything you have in that house including those kids of yours. I want you all out of my house and out of my life for good. My only saving grace is that I have a son from another woman. Atleast I am grateful for that and immediately all this is over Mama,I am going to Ijeoma’s people to ask for her hand in marriage. She is way more better than this thing standing right in front of me’ he said pointing at her.

Mama Nnamdi: I am happy that your secret is finally out and soon, fowl yansh don open. I knew there was something about you right from day one but I couldn’t place it. No wonder my spirit never agreed with you. Tell us who the father of those bastard children of yours and be fast with it else you will stay here till God knows when.

First Elders: My people, since ifeoma has refused to open her mouth to say who the father of her children are, I think we should give her some time to put herself together.

Mama Nnamdi: Isi gini, give who sometime? Mbanu, it will not work.

Haven’t we given her all the time she needs? We gave her time to go to her people and put herself together, what more time does she needs? My elders, we will have to force the words out of her mouth today ooo because we cannot keep coming back because of a woman who is not worthy. She must tell us everything today.

Second Elder: I agree too, I mean we have other things to do. Take a look at me now, I supposed to be in the farm but because of Ifeoma I am here. The last time the same thing too and I keep losing money because of it. I won’t be coming back here again because of Ifeoma. If she refuses to still say anything then let us take her to the shrine and let her swear by the gods of our land. If she is innocent, the gods won’t strike her but if she is not, she will die within three days since she doesn’t want to tell us anything abi?

Mama Nnamdi: I agree with you oooo. let us go to the shrine and let her swear with her life.

First Elder: Ifeoma my daughter, did you just hear what they said? She nodded her head ‘Good’. Do you want to go to the shrine because if you do not speak up, that is where we are headed to and when we hand you over to the chief priest, the matter is no longer in our hands.

If what they say about you is true, you will swear by the Gods of our land and death is inevitable. Is that what you want?

Ifeoma: No my elders.

Mama Nnamdi: Oh! So you finally said a word to us since you came here today? Ah! Oga oooo. I thought you were finally dumb.

Nnamdi: Who did you commit this atrocity with Ifeoma, who?

First Elder: Please Nnamdi, calm down. She will talk.

Nnamdi: Then let her talk. I don’t want to breathe the same air with this prostitute I call a wife. Witch!

Second Elder: Nnamdi, calm down and Ifeoma, are you ready to talk now?

Ifeoma: Yes my Elders, I will talk.

Mama Nnamdi: Talk na, what is keeping you?

Ifeoma: Errmm my elders, before anything else, I want to start from the onset.

Mama Nnamdi: You want to start what from which onset?

Ifeoma: if you really want to know who the father of my child is and what prompted me to do it, I will have to tell you my story from the beginning.

Nnamdi: What nonsense story are you talking about? All we want is for you to tell us who you did it with. Is that too heavy for you to spill out?

Mama Nnamdi: We don’t have all the time in the world and you better just spill out….

First Elder: ‘Mama Nnamdi’ he interrupted her ‘I want you please let her speak. If she wants to tell us her story, we have all the time and it is important for us to know the reason why she did what she did. If after she tells us everything and her action is not justified, she will do what needs to be done’.

Second Elder: I agree, let her tell us everything right from the beginning.

Nnamdi: Me, I am not interested in knowing anything oooo. all I want is who did she do it with?

Third Elder: Then be patient with her, let her tell us what she wants us to know.

Mama Nnamdi: Okay oooo. but it will not exceed today because me I will not want to come here because of her again. I want my son’s life to go back to normal.

First Elder: My daughter, you have all our attention. Go ahead ,tell us what you want us to know.

Ifeoma: Thank you my elders. Looking at her husband and mother in-law she shook her head and with tears in her eyes she said ‘you all know that I have been married to Nnamdi, your son. But what you really do not know was how miserable my life was when I couldn’t give birth to a child five years after my marriage.

I went from one hospital to another and after conducting series of test, I was certified okay by the doctors. Each time my husband and I become intimate, nothing happens and one day, I decided to go to another hospital for a proper check - up and the same story was told. That I am okay and there is nothing wrong with me, I should try and bring my husband along so that the same test can be conducted on him but all effort in trying to convince him to come along proved abortive.

Nnamdi: Yes! Because I am a man. Before I married you, I know how many women with whom I had an affair with had abortions for me.

What makes you think that I am not man enough to pregnant a woman?

Third Elder: Nnamdi calm down and let her finish her story please.

My daughter please continue.

Ifeoma: ‘Thank you’ she continued ‘I tried all I could to convince him to go for medical check -up but he wouldn’t listen and it was during this time that my mother in-law was threatening me, saying that a woman would soon come to my house, I will leave my matrimonial home for her.

I couldn’t and didn’t want it to happen but what can I do when the child my family needed wasn’t forth coming, I went to the doctor and explained my predicament to him but all he told me was that I should look for a way to get my husband’s sperm and when that is done, they will carry on with the test but on no account should I tell anyone what is happening, for it is not right to carry on a test without the consent of the person involved. I told him I will do it for that was the only way I could ascertain if we were really alright.

Mama Nnamdi: Ehen, what happened next?
Ifeoma: I was desperate and I bought a condom meant for women.

One morning after my husband and I made love, I took the condom to my doctor where a test was conducted and the result of the test shattered my life.

https://spyloadedng.com/gallery/12_12_03_18_2_22_12.jpeg

It is sad that while other countries strive to present their youths as viable and productive individuals to attract investors, ours see and present us, the youths and future as lazy and jobless.

I wonder, how exactly this is possible because we the youths love education and want to work but there is no job. The same one who accuses us now can at least tell us why we can't access quality and affordable education, rely on oil and can't get jobs...

I am a Nigerian, I am a youth, I am not lazy, I do not desire to be jobless, I love education, I believe in the diversification of our economy and I know you too are even more of a better Nigerian youth.
Join me today so that we can rewrite a narrative that has been written for us.

We are the today and the future, let us seize our tomorrow by helping me show who we truly are.
I am Dr. Nicolas Nicholas Felix and together, we can fix this...

My name is Dr. Nicolas Felix & I approve this message

PoliticsSupporters Burn Party Flag As Omisore Dumps PDP by Teecash1409(op): 4:09pm On Apr 05, 2018
The former Deputy Governor of Osun State, Senator Iyiola Omisore has dumped the Peoples Democratic Party, (PDP) and his supporters angrily burned the flags of the party.

Omisore and his supporters boycotted the congresses of PDP held in March where the State Working Committee and executives of PDP at the ward and local government levels were elected.

At the time of filing this reports, the new party that Omisore will join to pursue his governorship ambition in the September 22nd gubernatorial election in the state was not known but it was confirmed that he was no more in PDP.
The Chairman of PDP in the state, Hon Soji Adagunodo described the action of Omisore as hasty and needless. Adagunodo said the burning of the PDP flags by Omisore and his supporters unfortunate
He expressed surprise at the conduct o Omisore in spite of several efforts being made by leaders of the party at the National and state levels to reconcile them with the mainstream of the party.

After the burning of the PDP flags hoisted at his house located at Ogo-Oluwa area which was the former Secretariat of the party, Omisore held a meeting with his supporters who were eager to know the new party he would take them to.
Some of the PDP chieftains sighted at the meeting include the former Minister of Police Affairs, Mr Jelili Adesiyan and former Commissioner for Works in the state, Dr Bayo Faforiji.

Speaking further, Adagunodo reminded Omisore that it was the PDP that God used to save him from political annihilation in the Alliance for Democracy and subsequently made him a ranking senator of the Federal Republic who rose to become the chairman of the Appropriation committee of the higher legislative chamber.

The PDP chairman urges the teeming members and supporters of the party in the state to remain calm and focussed on the ultimate target of winning the next governorship election and restoring the state back to its prosperous path beginning from November this year.

PoliticsDr. Nicolas Felix: The Ignition Of Hope For A Reformed Nigeria by Teecash1409(op): 2:30pm On Mar 12, 2018
DR. NICOLAS FELIX: THE IGNITION OF HOPE FOR A REFORMED NIGERIA

The FUTURE of Nigeria CERTAINLY won’t come to us as a GIFT, it will only come to us as an ACHIEVEMENT, and so it was destined so many years ago that, Dr. Nicolas Felix, an accomplished author, mentor, and a life coach born in Auchi, Edo State Nigeria to the family of Elder Felix and Pastor Mrs. Maria Uagbor from Ewohimi, Esan South of Edo State will come from a foreign country (America) with a TRANSFORMATION AGENDA to rescue Nigeria at a time of great tribulations to get her out of a seeming quagmire in the valley of the shadow of recession, corruption, nepotism, lack of true-federalism, infrastructural deficit, failed educational system, agriculture rot and poor security amongst many others. All these and many shall be made possible through the restructuring of the Nigerian polity.

With a drive for youth employment and empowerment, Dr. Nicolas Felix being a renowned CEO of the following companies located in the United States of America, being: Victory Security Company, Zoe Homecare Agency, Fresh Cleaning Services, Adiel Real Estate & Development Company LLC. & COO of ElDad Group of Companies Incorporated has immensely contributed to measures put in place to address unemployment which of course is a sure reason to vote Dr. Nicolas for president in the 2019 general elections.

In addition to the employment of over 450 employees in four (4) years across America, Dr. Nicolas is willing to replicate or surpass his employment record in Nigeria thereby providing jobs for over 500,000 graduates across the country through a reformed civil service commission and 300,000 non graduates through entrepreneurship schemes within the first four years to ensure a balanced society where gainfully employed graduates and artisans work harmoniously and assiduously, contributing more to the GDP of the country.

Dr. Nicolas Felix being well travelled and influential business and religious tourist privileged to have travelled travel to about 15 countries around the globe, will aside strengthening the diplomatic relationship of Nigeria, move for a sustainable infrastructure on borrowed ideas from foreign scenes taking into cognizance global best practices through the Federal Ministry of Works in partnership with the Nigerian Society of Engineers for sustainable development to address the huge challenge of infrastructural deficit.

Additionally, In significance to the saying that,’ The secret of CHANGE is to FOCUS all of YOUR energy, not on fighting the OLD but on building the NEW, Dr. Nicoalas Felix has mapped out modalities to abolish the old and inappropriate tradition of shifting blames on the past government by incumbent and be geared towards focused governance as a continuous process by ensuring 100% completion of abandoned projects by either calling contractors to site for completion of projects before the initiation of new ones through his proposed pathways for Nigerian Development.

Interestingly, Dr. Nicolas Felix and his wife, Pastor Benita Nicolas have since been employers of labour through their various enterprise coupled with the placement of group of widows on monthly stipend in Church of God Mission Auchi, Edo State, Nigeria, and only will continue in their philanthropic activities even more as president and first lady, ensuring that more widows, orphans and vulnerable children are properly catered for through a well designed, sustainable and systematic scheme, to serve as a renewed hope for the ORPHANS and VULNERABLE CHILDREN with a view to walking the talk which says, children are the future leaders of tomorrow.

More so, in an  unprecedented manner, Nigeria will experience and cherish the supportive role of the personality of a true philanthropist first lady, Benita Felix, a truly hospitable, generous, considerate and benevolent woman who derives joy in empowering people irrespective of class, tribe and religious or political affiliation,  particularly those challenged by disabilities.

Dr. Nicolas with undying penchant for knowledge has an Associate Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering from Federal Polytechnic, Auchi, Edo State, Nigeria, and Undergraduate Credits from City University of New York in Nursing Program Pre-requisite. He also holds a Bachelor's Degree in Biblical Studies (BBS) Major Concentration in Ministry Leadership & Minor Concentration Pastoral Ministry from Ames Christian University in Florida, USA. To crown it, he holds a Doctorate Degree in Divinity (DD) from CICA International University & Seminary in New York City. With these academic and life experiences Dr, Nicolas is the surest man for the job who will bring his experiences to bear on the floor of democracy in Nigeria through his vast wealth of experience.

Like every candidate with vision in every election, the erudite and astute Dr. Nicolas, has put in place a very great and carefully planned agenda billed for immediate implementation in virtually all sectors of the Nigerian economy through the following;

Improving Security in Nigeria

Security as a major challenge of Nigeria will be given topmost priority especially in the area of securing lives and properties of Nigerians and most importantly the curbing of the Fulani/herders clashes which has almost remained a recurring decimal in Nigeria for over 8 years.

This will be achieved by the strengthening our military formation through timely and proper acquisition of sophisticated weapons and due payment of entitlements to both serving and ex-service military personals. Also the formation of service chiefs and security experts will be done on the basis of merit other than on tribalism or religious based. This will help to clear the bottle-necks and challenges bedeviling the Nigerian military and paramilitary which demoralizes and renders them almost useless in the face of insurgencies as orchestrated by Boko haram and the Marauding Fulani herdsmen terrorists.
It is Dr. Nicolas’ idea that if security is addressed, it will boost the productivity in the economy and further encourage more local and foreign investors to do business in the country, boosting the economy through taxation and developing communities through their performance of the statutory social corporate responsibilities.

Improving power generation through alternative sources

The federal government under Dr. Nicolas Felix will through its power sector explore alternative ways of generating and distributing power to the masses at affordable rates. Some of the initiatives will be the use of solar energy, wind energy to compliment the hydroelectric energy thus addressing the global warming challenges of emission of carbon gases which results in the depletion of the ozone layer.

Providing access to healthcare

No nation can record growth of meaningful development without rendering proper healthcare services to its productive class. Therefore, an autonomous and functional healthcare system will be achieved through the provision of free healthcare services to both civil and public servants as well as the masses through the National health Insurance Scheme, NHIS.

Since access to health care impacts one's overall physical, social, and mental health status and quality of life. Dr. Nicolas Felix will put in measures to remove all barriers to health services which include:

I. High cost of care
II. Inadequate or no insurance coverage
III. Lack of availability of services
Iv. Lack of culturally competent care

In removing the barriers to healthcare, the following will be addressed;

I. Unmet health needs
II. Delays in receiving appropriate care
III. Inability to get preventive services
IV. Financial burdens
V. Preventable hospitalizations

With these in place, the health sector reform will be sustainable through effective management skills of Dr. Nicolas Felix through the administrational skills of a knowledgeable Minister for health incharge off the medical affairs making sure that the health of every Nigerian becomes their wealth!

Developing and investing in infrastructure

Based on pure demographics, infrastructural projects such as roads, bridges, communication, sewage, electricity, etc in a developing country as Nigeria, with a population of over 170 million, will obviously offer significant projection for long-term growth and profit. Such projects as implemented by Dr. Nicolas Felix will enable both public and private investors to bank on capital appreciation for decades. This will most importantly, help to service the vital infrastructural needs of millions of young Nigerians. The population will, in turn, generate greater economic growth.

Eradicating corrupt practices

Corruption will be fought headlong using the existing anti-graft agencies such as EFCC and ICPC by strengthening it and making it independent of the presidency and interestingly through unconventional ways ranging from, prompt and due payment of salaries, wages of workers, and pension of pensioners, purposeful and conscientious leadership, efficient tax collection process to enable judicious usage of tax payers monies for infrastructural development, giving mortgage loans to workers to ensure every worker owns a decent accommodation, provide free healthcare services to both civil and public servants as well as the masses through the National health insurance scheme, Also, with the social security in place to carter for the unemployed and the elderly, workers will see no need to embezzle money to carter for themselves after retiring from public service. Punishing offenders to serve as a deterrent to future offenders will also be a good measure. Lastly, to make political office less attractive and lucrative only interesting to those passionate about service and leadership positions.

Improving Education in Nigeria

Since education is a major determinant of growth, pillar of development and measure of knowledge and qualification, and being that the foundation level plays a very important role in the intellectual growth of individuals, the teaching and learning processes will be reformed and checked by Dr. Nicolas foundation to ensure effectiveness for producing sound pupils ready for admission into the Nigerian universities to reduce the level of half baked and employment unworthy students.

In addition to regular review of curricula, our school laboratories, workshops and vocational centers will be adequately equipped with the necessary modern facilities by Dr. Nicolas Felix.

Lastly, motivation through benefits and encouragement will be for teachers and lecturers to improve on their teaching skills through the acquiring of more advanced academic qualifications in order to meet global teaching standards. Training and retraining exercises will also be organized for teachers to be acquainted with the use of computers and other relevant teaching tools. More so, regular promotion and payment of teachers will be placed on first charge as form of motivation.

Addressing Socio-Economic problems

The socio economic problems such as lack of education, cultural and religious discrimination, overpopulation, unemployment and corruption will all be tackled through a poverty eradication programme through which other issues will be resolved by the ripple effect of the programme. This will focus more of the average Nigerians on the streets and the less privilege who have no shelter to live in or food to eat and can’t even afford for their primary education.

Based on the foregoing, you will agree more that, Dr. Nicolas is ‘a leader who knows the WAY, goes the WAY and SHOWS the way,’ so let’s all get aboard the SHIP of POSITIVE change and row NIGERIA in a great direction for PROGRESS!

A VOTE for Dr. Nicolas Felix is a VOTE for a greater future for our children; For a UNITED Nigeria devoid of tribalism, nepotism and impunity, For Peace and tranquility!!!

VOTE Dr. Nicolas Felix, for TRANSPARENCY, ACCOUNTABILITY, CREDIBILITY and REFORMATION, your preferred candidate for the 2019 presidential race.

God Bless The FEDERAL REPUBLIC of NIGERIA!
