Thank you for your recent application to Shell expressing an interest in Local Opportunities.

We have carefully reviewed your application form and CV and regret to inform you that you have not been successful on this occasion.

Throughout our Graduate recruitment process we look for a demonstration of evidence for the key qualities and skills required to be successful in Shell, as detailed in our criteria on our website at www.shell.com/careers.

At this stage of our recruitment process we rely on your application form and CV to illustrate examples of these attributes. On this occasion, we were unable to identify sufficient evidence to progress your application.

If you wish to reapply for any of our student or graduate opportunities, we do ask that you allow a period of twelve months before you submit another application. This is to allow additional time for you to develop yourself further and gain additional experience and/or qualifications.

Unfortunately, due to the high volumes of applications we receive, we are unable to offer you individual feedback on your application at this stage of the recruitment process. However, if you would like the opportunity to comment on your experience of the recruitment process, please find attached a link to the “Candidate Experience Survey”, www.maven-web.net/sce/login.asp?Quest=52&Route=1. A third party supplier manages this survey and your individual responses will not be made available to Shell.

We would like to take this opportunity to thank you for the interest you have shown in the Shell Group and wish you all the very best for the future.

Kind regards

guys it seems they have stopped shortlisting for this opportunity because they need just 30pple to complete the class, the other qualified candidates would be considered for the next stream of grad recruitment.I think interviews would be held in May and by June we would get letters for medicals nd by july offer letters and Edjeba.I was at the HR today nd it was just too dull.Guys with offshore Msc dont do SITP,so 4get the UK guys they are hired straight.

Jobs/VacanciesRe: Shell Nigeria - The Next Generation by teejan: 9:55am On Apr 09, 2010
Lets encourage motivate and share tips on this life time opportunity guys, but this time they said no aptitude tests just interviews like the commercial grads of last yr srd,i think they had pple on the waiting list for the next SITP nd they decided to complete the class with 30 pple, cos a typical SITP class is between 80-100 candidates.Hope alive?
Jobs/VacanciesRe: Shell Nigeria - The Next Generation by teejan: 9:50am On Apr 09, 2010

might be a speculation but any1 with more concrete info would be appreciated. Thanks
Jobs/VacanciesRe: Shell Nigeria - The Next Generation by teejan: 7:15am On Apr 09, 2010
The opportunity was not publicised because the target for this campaign is just 30 grads.why advertise?and the recruitment would take about 15-20 niger-deltans and between 15-20 to the rest of Nigeria.
Jobs/VacanciesRe: Shell Nigeria - The Next Generation by teejan: 7:08am On Apr 09, 2010
This recruitment is not SITP,its a direct recruitment,i mean there are plans to scrap SITP to cut cost.As for the commercial grads no info yet, they are trying to boost production and the tecnical grads are needed due to the exodus of some experienced hands from shell,nd they are considering staffing some contract staffs.
Jobs/VacanciesRe: Shell Nigeria - The Next Generation by teejan: 5:08pm On Apr 08, 2010
