Alright, will have to use them. Plz how long does it take for documents to be evaluated and sent to the US schools?
WES was super fast for me. From the day they got verification from my uni that the documents are genuine, it took like 10days for the schools to get the evaluated transcripts.

This question is legal. It is very legal. He does not want to pass thro an illegal route, that's why my friend is asking.
Pls assist
From things I have heard/read, getting married to a U.S. Citizen is the "easier" way for your friend(or anyone else) to get a GreenCard.
Note however, that getting married for the sole purpose of obtaining a GC is illegal.
Guys, quick question about WES for those that have used them.
: I plan on using WES Basic(Course-by-Course (with GPA & course-levels) is it OK and accepted by US schools? And hope overall GPA conversion be done? Also the schools I am applying to... ]

The Course-by- Course is the most adequate one as that's what most of the schools I've encountered ask for. Yes, overall GPA conversion will be done.
However, you will pay extra to have your evaluated transcript sent to schools. $30 while the evaluation is still ongoing and $50 for the 1st one after the evaluation has been concluded. You will also pay mailing fees depending on your preference...least is $7 sha.

I requested to have my scores sent to 3 schools and paid $323 in total. undecided sad

Hey guys, please how do I get intouch with EducationUSA in Nigeria. Have tried reaching the email on their site but I haven't gotten any response so far. Secondly do I need to write TOEFL ? I already have a 6.5 score in IELTS. Your response will be appreciated.
No, you don't need to write TOEFL. Don't have any info on EducationUSA. Maybe wait till tomorrow to get a response since today is a public holiday?

Review in progress?.That's very good. That means they've also received your transcript from your school. If not, its suppose to show something like "Awaiting documents from university".. Its under review, a verification will soon be sent to your school after 7days of review..
No bro, That's the problem. I'm very sure my school, OOU, has not sent the transcript because I was asked to come collect it next week and send myself. That's why I'm a little confused with the "documentS".

Remember to include your reference number in all your correspondences you send. Even when you faxing, you can provide it in the cover not page.
Thanks a lot. I used the website Zeezahbee mentioned and I just put my reference number where they asked senders name and company. Don't get what you mean by cover page?
Please how long did it take from when your school sent transcripts till WES completed the evaluation?

Whether you wanna send through NIPOST or any courier services, The address must be the one you put down in your profile on WES portal,. Your full names, ref number, must also be included just to avoid any discrepancy.

*PS: You're only allowed to send your undergrad certificate yourself,. Any other documents (official) should be sent by your school SEALED and STAMPED
Thanks for trying to help Prof, I meant the WED address not mine. But thanks, I ended up sending the certificate by fax. On their website, I saw documents recieved-review in progress. And I have only sent my certificate.
TravelRe: General U.s.a (student) Visa Enquiries-part 8 by teelekan:
Good day house,
When sending a document to WES via NIPOST, should the address be the postal mail one or the express courier? I just don't want to make any silly mistakes.

Also, Zeezahbee you mentioned something about sending it via Fax. Can't remember that page. Kindly Advice? Thank you.

Found the fax page. Thanks. DjMakson, did you eventually fax it? Any issues with that method?

Please does anyone know about the possibility of studying medicine in the US or Canada straight out of secondary school in Nigeria
You have to go in for pre-med first of its USA. Don't know about Canada but I think it's almost the same. You're sure to find more info via Google, try StudentDoctorNetwork forum.

Hello everyone.

I found that part-time MBAs have a higher acceptance rate plus most of the full time MBAs are either too expensive or only take students for fall semester. However, it's like you can't get an F1 visa on a part-time course.

Who has any information or can shed more light on MBAs/visas?

Your best bet would be to renew your passport before you go for your interview.
As the 32 page Passport is now extremely scarce, you may want to do the 64-page one. You can do it yourself, which would take forever or you can use an agent. Costs about 35-38,000.

You will have to pay extra fee if you don't put it on your first submit...That means!, they will charge you of $30 for additional report!..Its better you put all the school at once.
Thank you. Kai na wa o. Even this one I put now, they are charging $30 for additional report. That means for the 3-4 schools I would eventually send to, $120 plus their delivery fees and gbogbo e.

Good evening everyone.
I'm trying to register for WES evaluation and I need help/advice with something. Of the schools I'm considering, I'm only totally certain about one so far and I see a space on the WeS page to include all schools I want my transcript sent to.

What I want to know is can I put only that school now(trying to hurry because of deadline) and have the opportunity to put the rest later without paying extra fees? I'm going for the WES-icap evaluation.

I'm also applying for public health but it doesnt fall under "affordable" or "cheap". I decided to go for Occupational Health./environmental sci....But you can get funding with high gre i guess. public gealth is pricey. Not as 'cheap" as social work or sociology. And check @west texas a&m, armstrong state uni,. Im applying there. Nice fees. Gud schools
Hello Mekurexx, wow nice suggestions. However, I can't find any MPH program at WestTexas A&M. When do you plan to resume if accepted? I looking for Spring 2016 applicants for MPH. Would be nice to plan with you.

Boss Slimmy,
Thank you. Infact I was up all night doing just that. I plan to start the SOPHAS/WES runs next week. Just want to focus on about 4 schools first.
When I am done with my search, I hope it is okay if I tell you the schools for further advice.

I have gotten some materials for GRE and started last night as well. Do you think a month of 3hour daily preps will do, on average? I'm thinking of writing the exam early September.

Thank you all for the kind replies. Slimmy05, I am especially thankful to you. I really appreciate the help with the GSU link.

My cgpa was 3.28 and yes, I have started gathering practice materials for the GRE. I'm really hoping to get some sort of help with the funding, scholarship wise. God help me.

Also I hope Spring2016 is not unrealistic since I'm just starting preps? Thank you.

Good day everyone and well done!
I've been reading part 6 and 7 of the thread for a while and i am now ready to begin my process for Spring 2016 session

I have a BSc in Pharmacology and would like to do an MSc in Public Health. Using the links I found here, I have been able to streamline some schools eg California State Uni(SDSU) but ehn, the fees na die.

Please can anyone suggest schools that are good but aren't too expensive? Or schools that offer scholarships (I graduated with a 2.2 and I am yet to write any standardized tests).

I need any and all the advice you can render...slimmy,Prof, Zeezahbabe, Justwise and everyone else. I am a learner in this game, please.
Thank you so much.
