If no, you don't need your WAEC certificate in camp.
And if you feel like taking it along, you have no problem if you have laminated it.

Ensure to laminate your certificate(s), statement of result, CUL and green card. This will give you a edge over others in camp as you will not be attended to hehehe.
To them fellas who laminate anything document including receipt self.
